"We were very happy with the work done by Horizon Construction on our remodeling project. We love our 1954 suburban home, but the two bathrooms were in serious need of updating. Horizon started work and we immediately knew we were in good hands. The workmanship on the floor and shower tile was superb. In our master bath we had custom tiles installed in the shampoo shelf that made our shower really shine. The workers in charge of painting, vanity installation and plumbing were very friendly and professional. We felt very comfortable having them in our house. They answered questions and communicated their progress to us. The overall job was done in a timely manner and we were always informed of any delays. David the project manager kept us updated throughout the entire process and helped us to realize our vision of a southwestern style guest bathroom. He took care of all the paperwork with our city's permit process. We were given notice of any delays and he responded to texts immediately. On one occasion, while we were shopping for vanities at a local warehouse, he texted with us for over half an hour to make sure we got the right one. Halfway through the project we decided to re-pipe our entire house and David made that happen. His plumbing crew had the re-pipe done in two days. We feel confident recommending Horizon for your remodeling needs. They respected our house and it showed in their work. We can't wait to show off our new bathrooms to friends and family!"

"Having hosted the HGTV program “My House is Your House”, we’ve worked with and vetted many cabinet builders across San Diego and Southern California. I cannot understate enough how much of a mistake it was to choose Mr Cabinet Care for our kitchen cabinets on an Encinitas project. We are extremely disappointed with our experience with Mr Cabinet Care. We arranged & purchased custom cabinet drawer fronts that were supposed to be high-quality, but they arrived with noticeable gaps. the gaps were problematic for two reasons: 1. for the drawers / doors that closed incorrectly and 2. for being prone to collecting food debris (and unable to clean or remove that debris). When I contacted the company about this clear defect (the food /gap error), they completely dismissed my concerns, blaming “care and maintenance” instead of acknowledging the poor workmanship. Even worse, they provided doctored photos in an attempt to shift the blame, falsely suggesting that residue such as gum or putty had been left on the drawers. Not only was this completely untrue—no such residue existed in any of the photos we originally provided, nor in any additional photos we took. Falsifying evidence to avoid responsibility is not just dishonest; it’s unethical and gives us even greater concern over other claims they’ve made in workmanship or materials. The operations manager even said “The material you selected, White Oak Select, is naturally prone to expansion and contraction due to environmental factors such as heat and humidity. Upon reviewing the photos taken by the technician, it appears that the issues you are experiencing are likely related to care and maintenance, rather than any manufacturing defect.” These were installed weeks prior to our notice, not years later, and during a cool weather season. To claim extreme weather (like heat & humidity) in San diego is laughable and outrageous. Under California law, products like these are covered by warranties ensuring they are fit for their intended purpose. These drawer fronts clearly do not meet that standard, yet the company refused to honor its obligations. Instead of standing behind their product, they chose to manipulate the situation to avoid accountability. Beware if you work with them and have future warranty issues, youre going to likely run into similar defenses and accusations. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this company. If they are willing to misrepresent facts and dismiss valid concerns, I can only imagine how they handle other customer complaints. We regret this purchase for our client and would never recommend them to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship or honest customer service. We will not be using them for any future HGTV projects nor recommending them to other clients or customers"

"I just had my shower remodel project done by INC Remodeling, and I cannot be more pleased with the result of this project. I found the company after searching remodeling companies within my area through Yelp. The reviews were really positive, so I decided to request an estimate. Bayron promptly responded, and an appointment was set up to go over of what I wanted to get done. I felt really comfortable while discussing the project details, and the estimated time frame for completion. Since the beginning Bayron was very accommodating, and prompt to respond any of my concerns. It took them a week to complete the project - convert a bath tub shower into a regular shower- As I mentioned before communication was outstanding. There was a schedule and a crew for each of the days. These people were very honest, professional and knowledgeable. I also want to mention that they did a fantastic job covering and isolating the areas of the house from the dust and mess. I am already thinking about other little projects within the house, and it will be with INC remodeling"

His portfolio is so diversified that his company is able to create and execute projects as small as a single-family home pool to as large as major, large-scope projects with hotels or custom homes. Five stars for this family owned business!  From a guy that rarely uses the Internet, there was no way that I was going to forego  touting his company after the exceptional work and timely completion of my family pool. "Kyle and his team (Travis, Javier) completed a kitchen and bathroom reconstruction after I had two water leaks at my home They provided the most detailed, professional remodeling/reconstruction service to the point where Kyle had applied white silicone to our new vanity and he did not like the final look; so he suggested to use a clear caulk to make the white marble top look so natural!! That level of detail I appreciate as I was already happy with the white silicone! I trust their judgement, services and great price! Having his own financing made it even easier for me to afford the emergency flood and pay the mount not covered by insurance. I will always do business with KH Remodeling (Kyle Holland) I highly recommend them!!"

"Our kitchen was in dire need of upgrades, and we met with many different contractors for estimates. Young from New Life Construction left the best impression by far, from his professionalism, renovation ideas and design, reasonable pricing, etc. I am so glad we decided to go with New Life as Young and his entire team were a delight to work with from start to finish. We received very helpful opinions regarding many aspects of the design and materials without it being overbearing, and it was helpful to see his previous projects through instagram (@newlife_construction) to see what has worked well for similar kitchens in the past. There was clear communication about everything from details of the job to scheduling and everyone was very attentive to our needs throughout. This company handled the demolition, cleanup, cabinets, countertops, overhead lighting, painting, appliance installation (range/oven and dishwasher), sink and faucet installation for us-- pretty much everything in the kitchen except the floors. They bring in separate contractors that are specialists in their respective field (cabinets, countertop, etc) to do each portion of the project so you know you're truly getting the experts at every step of the way. Even after the project was done, Young went above and beyond to wrap up last-minute issues that came up from cabinet parts that were on backorder and to this day is responsive to any issues that may come up in the future. My family and I are so happy with how the kitchen turned out and we would not hesitate to hire Young and his team again for future projects."
