I found a great contractor, Horizon Construction and Remodeling and I didn't need to look any further. A few years back I called Horizon and asked them to remodel my upstair's bathroom and was amazed at the quality and workmanship that was performed on my remodel. A few years later my downstairs bathroom floor began to leak water from the floor. Without hesitating I called Horizon Construction and Remodeling and got a great quote. Their work was so impressive the first time I used them and even greater the second time. I would recommend Horizon to any and all. They were perfectionist.

this is my second project im doing with Horizon , i was working with David first on upgrading our older bathroom earlier this year , it was hard to find a contractor that agreed to work on this project and to even show up , i contacted horizon , David came and the process was pretty smooth gong forward , the working man were nice and new what they were doing . we are very happy with the bathroom we did ! the 2nd project we contacted horizon was to replace an old beam that held the roof line that was falling apart , David came quickly to help us although it was pricier then we thought , we had to fix it before the rainy season , and Horizon took care of that quickly for us and even painted it for us at no extra cost ! we would definitely recommend Horizon & David to our friends and family

David, our project manager, was exceptional—he kept us updated throughout the process and ensured everything went smoothly. We are working with Horizon Construction for the 3rd project on our house! We started out with a complete remodel of our Master Bathroom. We loved our bathroom and Horizon so much that a few years later we had them redo and refresh the total inside of our home! They did paint, carpet, tile, remodeled the kitchen,removed walls new lighting and some plumbing! We loved it so much that we are now finishing the exterior of our house. They did a power wash, stucco patching sanding, primer, and paint on the stucco, trim, front door and garage door! We had them install a new front door and security door and sand and paint our iron gate! Why Horizon Construction? Mark and Enna are amazing! They are kind, considerate and care about what they do! They have amazing ideas and expect excellence from their workers!

The initial consultation with David Eskin, the project manager, left a positive impression. David’s thorough approach involved active listening, addressing questions, and providing a comprehensive written estimate. Impressed by this experience, we chose Horizon for our living room renovation, focusing on a fireplace remodel and new flooring installation. Throughout the project, the entire team exhibited professionalism and respect for our home. They diligently maintained a clean and organized work environment, minimizing disruptions. This is the second time we have hired OC Horizon to work on our home. We hired them again because we trust Mark Besnos and his team to complete the project correctly, timely and safely. The back office is super nice and they make sure to communicate scheduling, payments, and answer any questions. Due to external moisture seeping into the house, we asked OC Horizon to remove adjacent planters surrounding parts of the house. They demoed and installed new matching pavers. The front of the house needed a facelift. They removed damaged wood trim, applied various paper coats and re-stucco. They installed and painted a new front door. They painted the entire house. They installed 22 new windows, covered up existing small windows not needed, changed one slider into a single window. Our rain gutters needed to be replaced. Mark suggested replacing with aluminum, a more durable product. Mark makes site visits often throughout the project, inspecting work and making corrections if not done according to his standards. He also makes suggestions regarding structural or safety items. He worked with us in figuring out a few aesthetic items. He worked with us to make sure all work was completed to our satisfaction. We are happy with the way our house was completed. It looks new and nice. Again, we “trust” Horizon to get the job done right.

My 91-year-old father needed work done on his house. The tile and grout on his second story balcony were no longer waterproof and subsequently, water leaked through the floor and caused damage to the garage ceiling. The garage was located directly below the balcony. After years of water soaking the rafters, beams, plywood and drywall, part of the ceiling collapsed. Upon further inspection, there was severe rotting of wood and material between the garage ceiling and the balcony floor. We noticed that Horizon was doing a very nice remodeling job on a neighbor's house. I spoke with a worker who referred me to David Eskin, a member of the Horizon management team. I also spoke with the homeowner, and they were very pleased with the work Horizon was doing. David came over, met with my father and me, inspected the damage and gave us a reasonable estimate. We signed a contract, which included proof of Horizon's contractor's license, worker compensation insurance and bonding. These were very important to my father; he wanted no liability for the project. We were more than satisfied with David and his workers. Everything that David promised was done. The project was completed in a timely manner and there were no add Ons or surprises. The workers quality of work was great; they were professional, friendly and clean. David constantly communicated with us and always gave us updates on the progress. If I had a concern, he immediately addressed it, with no excuses or upselling. The garage ceiling and balcony looks perfect, all of the stucco work and paint matches exactly to what it looked like fifty years ago when it was brand new. The experience with David and Horizon could not have been smoother. I mostly dealt with David by text and kept my elderly father out of the process to eliminate any stress on my father's part. I highly recommend David and Horizon for any home project. David is very professional, personable and responds immediately to any questions or concerns. They made our home project very smooth and with the least amount of stress as possible. We are very pleased with the finished project. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We have recently completed an extensive home addition and backyard and pool remodel. After several estimates from different contractors we chose Horizon and contractor Mark Besnos. This is our 2nd remodel with Horizon. We contracted them 1st time in 2017 for an interior remodel. Mark was very attentive and on top of the project from the beginning to end. The scope of the project was vast and there were a few challenges along the way but Mark was always available and on our side. The end result is beautiful and far exceeded our expectations.

This is our second remodel with Horizon construction & remodeling We remodeled another bathroom last year with them David our project manager was really good and helpful as always If we have anything else to remodel we will definitely call them !

I recently remodeled my house and was sorely disappointed. I was a bit gun shy to try again, but changed my mind after being stuck ay home during the covid lockdown. I decided to find a new contractor, and was lucky enough to find Mark Besnos, the owner of Horizon Construction and Remodeling. Mark was able to make my vision a reality, which was no small task. He worked with my designer, Misti Riedel and I and had the patience of a saint. This time around, it was an enjoyable experience. I wake up every morning and walk out into the main living area with a big smile on my face. Before Mark remodeled, my place was so drab. I truly love my house and thank everyone for helping me.

We selected Horizon Construction & remodeling in Fullerton because of their high rated reviews and we felt very comfortable with David Eskin the project manager. we thought he will be a good match since we will need to communicate with him on daily basis for the entire length of our remodel. He helped us design our new kitchen and bathroom and select materials while keeping up to code. we wanted to achieve clean and simple look, more space on our counters along with timeless design. The results exceeded our expectations. We love it!

This my experience with Horizon Construction and Remodeling, and why I recommend them. This is the second time that I have hired a contractor. The first time was a bathroom remodel, and it was a disaster, so I was very apprehensive about hiring another contractor. We needed to remodel our kitchen, so I had no choice. I did my due diligence and research and called three companies to interview. All three I had no prior knowledge of or experience with. Out of the three bids, there was a high, a medium, and a low. After talking to them one more time I went with the medium bid company. That company is called Horizon Construction and Remodeling. It turns out I made the right choice. My experience with this company is the complete opposite from my first experience with a contractor. My Project Manager was Mark, who did an outstanding job of keeping the project moving quickly efficiently. His crews showed up on time, were professional and did quality work, from plumbing to electrical to framing to painting to cabinets all were done to my satisfaction. If something was not done to my satisfaction (which was rare), I just let Mark know about it and he would send someone to either redo or touch-up the work. Mark would visit the job site frequently. I feel Mark is honest and has his customer’s best interest at heart. There were a couple of times when he could have charged me extra money for items that came up during the project, but he did not. Like any project we had to make some changes along the way, and Mark is very willing to work with you to make sure that you get what you want. Mark will listen to your ideas plus he has many ideas himself. He helped us a lot with our kitchen design. They started my project Oct. 11, 2001. My wife and I were hoping to have the project done by Christmas. They had it done in 7 weeks in time for Thanksgiving! The inside staff is led be Enna. They make sure everything is ordered on time. They even arrange for inspections. They are very polite and efficient and responsive. We are doing our doors and windows next and we going to have Horizon Construction and Design do the work. Horizon Construction & Remodeling, did everything they promised. Their man did quality work. They said “it will be done” and it was done as they said. Our Kitchen & bathroom remodel turned better than we thought. Mark helped with the design and selecting all the materials and that was very helpful. We would recommend them to anyone.

I completely renovation my 1 bedroom condo in the City of Fullerton. Everything was removed from flooring walls kitchen bathroom walk in closet. The outcome was outstanding. I couldn't believe how great everyting. Turnedd out.. Every time I come home it's like walking into a model home.. I enjoy Everything and my favorite place is kitchen and patio BBQing and watching sports on my new patio TV.

After shopping several companies, we chose Horizon Construction and Remodeling for our home improvement project, which was to enlarge and update our kitchen and main bathroom. In addition, we converted all of our flooring to vinyl. We are extremely happy with the service, responsiveness, dependability, and the results Horizon provided. David Eskin was our project manager. David became a consultant and friend during the process. He proved to be patient and honest when we encountered an issue with the granite installation for our kitchen. We upgraded our material to a beautiful and unique Brazilian granite for our kitchen counter. Our initial granite slab cracked 3 feet across the width of the counter 2 days after installation. David and his crew reviewed the issue and, without hesitation or argument, removed the cracked granite and replaced it with a new slab at their cost. Although this experience was extremely stressful for all, the integrity displayed by David and Horizon was stellar and unique in the construction industry. Contractors are easy to find, but an honest and dependable one is rare in our opinion. On this experience alone, we would recommend Horizon Construction and Remodeling without reservation. They made it right. All construction is stressful and we lived in our house during the remodel. This project was our first in this home, but our fourth major reconstruction in our 45 years of marriage. Horizon was by far the best remodel experience!

Horizon construction & Remodeling remodeled/updated both my master and the main bathrooms, which were in their original mid-60s construction state. David Eskin and his team of tradesmen helped bring my vision to fruition. As with any project, once the walls were opened up, some revisions were required; based upon their expertise and experience, Horizon was able to provide a few suggestions and a few “tweaks” to address these revisions. I couldn’t be happier with the results! Both bathrooms are much more functional and beautiful! Horizon also did some minor improvements in my laundry area – again improving the functionality and looks! Note: Remodeling costs did not cover much of the material costs. I had already selected and/or purchased some of the building materials; I did research and purchase much of the remaining materials (tub, vanities, tiles). Horizon does have its own showroom, and could have provided these at an additional cost. However, because I already had a firm idea as to what I wanted, I handled the ordering of these myself.

Our kitchen was remodeled by Mark Besnos and Enna at Horizon Construction and Remodeling. We chose them after seeing all the great reviews on the Houzz app. When we walked into their showroom, we were warmly greeted by Diana who made us feel very comfortable. Their product display made it easy for us to put our ideas together. Mark’s crew did a wonderful job. Kudos to his crew, they really worked hard. Joel Chavez was a standout carpenter/jack of all trades doing much of the major work and tying together any imperfections and any loose ends that arose with a great attitude, expertise, and skill. He’s quite an asset to Horizon. Antonio Garcia who did our fabulous backsplash and Tom Tzur was the electrician. Mark ensured that each phase of the project was done correctly and completed on time (about 8 weeks). We gutted and replaced our 80’s kitchen (10’ by 10’) including the small dining area. We kept the same layout but switched the positions of the sink, stove and refrigerator. Enna helped with all the communication and paperwork and scheduling of the inspections, payments etc. Thanks to Mark, Enna, and their crew, we have a beautiful modern kitchen with two toned white and blue cabinets. Lessons Learned: 1. Stick to your budget and have extra funds for unforeseen things because for sure there will always be something that will come up. Understand what is and is not included in your contract. Don’t just assume that everything is included. 2. Be flexible with your time. There is a general outline of what jobs will be done in order mostly during the weekdays but things may change with short notice. 3. Check that your materials/colors are in stock before you sign your contract. Due to the Covid and political environment, some materials may take longer to get or not at all. Some newer colors may cost more. 4. Look at your cabinet colors in every light. We first looked at an espresso-colored cabinet that looked like black in shade and looked light cherry colored under the full sun. 5. Know what crown molding you want for the top of your cabinets…having pictures will help. 6. Ask Mark if you are not sure of any detail or work that has to be done. Do not wing it…else any fixes may cost you extra. 7. For lighting such as chandeliers, measure everything. Use you tube to learn to measure your lighting fixtures. 8. Certain changes such as electrical, structural will require city permits and inspections. Your city’s inspector’s availability will cause delays up to one week. 9. Choose your grout color for the backsplash…apparently there’s a ton of them (we were looking at different shades of grey because white is too hard to clean). 10. Choose your door and doorknobs ahead of time. Check to make sure it works including deadbolt after it’s been installed. 11. Choose your baseboard style and size. 12. Choose your light dimmers switches. 13. Backsplash, one tile was an off color so be sure to inspect the backsplash, so if any tile is an off color you can ask to replace it with one of your other tiles, you will have extra tiles to work with. 14. Save a cabinet piece in case you need to do future touchups. You can go to the paint store to have them match the color.

We recently remodeled our Master bathroom and chose Horizon Construction & Remodeling in Fullerton to do the job. Overall, we had a great experience! We were given a fair price for our remodel and the quality of work was excellent. Everyone we worked with was polite, courteous and professional. Any minor issues that came up were addressed promptly and correctly. Our bathroom looks a million times better is a lot more functional. Bravo to David, our General Contractor, and his crew! We would definitely recommend Horizon Construction & Remodeling to anyone and we plan to use them again for our next remodeling project.

David Eskin with Horizon Construction and Remodeling did a great job coordinating the remodel. All the trades did an excellent job. Any issues were responded to and fixed immediately. We are very happy with the finished product, and will use them again in the future.

We are happy to see the remodeling is completed. I am satisfied with the materials chosen and the suggestions made throughout the process. Not well. Numerous delays (2 mo. project took 5 mos.); poor communication/coordination; rude, unprofessional behavior by staff; lack of response to my e-mails, texts, questions; demanding payments for work not begun (contrary to State law); wood flooring improperly installed required reinstallation months after project ended; wrong baseboard & door casings installed; towel rack in bathroom improperly installed; poor cleanup of their work; leaving their lunchtime trash behind. Overall, it was a highly frustrating and stressful experience.

I had an excellent experience with David from Horizon Construction on an exterior project recently completely and would recommend them highly for any project internal or external. David was extremely professional throughout the entire process. From the initial call and consultation we tossed ideas back and forth, his vision was exactly what I was looking for. He promptly sent images of ideas and websites for me to review and even though we didn't exactly meet at times he was flexible to accept my idea and in the end we came up with something I am very proud of! To be honest...there where issues, but not with him! He came through and directed his team to fix not only things I found, but even things that did not fit his image of perfection....he never flinched, his quality was excellent and did not let his team fall behind! Again, I am extremely happy with the service, vision and final product and would recommend them anytime you have a project you want perfection.
