On the last day, the ‘lead ‘ painter walked around the house with me to inspect it. I pointed out that the stucco work was very bad. He simply shrugged and smiled. They got white paint on my pavers, which I pointed out. I gave him the final payment. I sent Wayne a text explaining my concerns along with pictures. You should paint your home exterior every five to 10 years, on average. Climate and surroundings can affect how well paint holds up. Wood siding will likely need a fresh coat of paint every three to seven years. Paint on brick tends to last about eight to 17 years, on average.
There are a few ways to make your deck look new without professional power washing. First, you can use either store-bought cleaners or dish soap and water to mop your deck regularly to clean off accumulated dirt. To clean your deck and remove mold, mix two gallons of warm water with a ½ cup of distilled white vinegar or apple cider vinegar, rinse the area, and then scrub with a stiff-bristled broom.
