Over the past 36 years we have grown to 29 employees but maintain our original goal, to make each customer our top priority. David Kellis, the owner, believes in treating everyone with integrity and respect and has gone to great lengths to instill this philosophy throughout the company. The pest control industry recognized this attribute by electing David as the President of the Alabama Pest Control Association in 2005. The company’s General Manager, Susan Taylor, was recognized as continuing this tradition when the Association voted her the President 2015. We always embrace green technology in the use of any pesticides. Whether we are utilizing baits, residuals or some type of trapping program. "I have been using Mr. Buggs for 3 years for pest control and have been very pleased. I was using another company for my yard, trugreen, and they were horrible. They basically killed my $10,000 lawn. "Ant control, Bat control, Bug & Insect control, Mosquito control, Rat control, Spider control -- these folks do it all and they do it excellently well. They go above and beyond, sweeping away webs under the eaves and coping gracefully with my neighbor's yappy dogs. When squirrels began gnawing on my fascia, they made certain to let me know before the damage became severe. When I had bats in my belfry, they gently chased away the creatures and hardened my house so that the bats would not return. When I asked for a bond in addition to termite protection, they supplied. When my house proved to be more prone to bug infestations than expected (two creeks border my property), they were flexible enough to adjust to my particular needs. When I texted a picture of a particularly large and unfamilliar bug that surprised me in my shower, they came immediately. During a particularly heavy rain, I turned on the porch light to see beady little eyes staring back at me from atop a storage chest; Scout put out rat control measures the next day. And every person working for Scout Pest Control shows the same professionalism, the same dedication to and quality of service. I can't say enough good about these folks. I'm so very grateful that I found them so quickly after moving to Alabama; if I had not, the critters would have run me out long ago!
