APS Window Cleaning

So glad I went with this company! I had another business quote me an estimate that was three times what APS charged. I was anxious to see what I would get for my money but was pleasantly surprised. A very nice gentleman (Oscar) showed up on time and was so polite and friendly. His work was fast, efficient, neat, and thorough. He even got stung by a wasp while cleaning our gutters and didn't miss a beat. Everything looks fantastic! The end charge was exactly what I was quoted--no tricks. Great work at a great price-- I would absolutely hire them again!

We thought they might want to cancel because it was below freezing all day, but they came on time and worked steadily until it was all done. Two men were here about 5 hours. It is a 7,000 sq ft house. The windows look great and the concrete is clean. These guys were hardworking. We were very happy with the job.

I contacted the business owner without any response and he refuses to cease his littering of advertisements of my neighborhood.

This is a repeat of the review I did for MGM Professional Windows, which is the other name under which this company operates. Responding to a marketing card advertising whole house window washing - inside and outside - for $159.00, called this company which also does business as MGM Professional Windows. The young lady who answered the phone was very nice and we set up an appointment for having the windows cleaned. The workers showed up on time - actually a bit early. The main worker was nice, said they were there and would get started. Then he did a walk around my house. The worker told me he didn't have a ladder tall enough to reach my back windows. My reply was that the company surely had some ladders tall enough. My house is on the side of a mountain, but so are many others. I can't be the only one with high windows who wants to have them cleaned. Surely a window washing company in Birmingham, AL, knows this and is prepared to handle such windows. The window washer said he'd have to call his boss. I said fine, just have his boss call me to talk about it, but that he and the other worker could get started on those windows which could be reached. After he was on the phone for a while and waiting around for awhile, the man came to ask me if his boss had called me yet. I said that he had not, but they could still start. He said his boss would call me in five or ten minutes, but that they weren't going to start until their boss talked to me. Then they drove off. A week later, I have yet to hear from the boss or to see the window washers again. At this point, of course, they need not bother to call or come back. Now for a house like mine, the advertised price is excellent. I have lots of windows, but the flyer didn't mention any limit (as I recall - I've already tossed the flyer - it specifically mentioned that there was no limit - "any size house") and showed a picture of a big house with lots of windows as part of their advertising. The house picture is also a tall house certainly one which would need a tall ladder. Obviously, APS Windows and Gutter Cleaning took one look at my house and decided they didn't want the job, but Angie's List members need to know that this is the way APS Windows and Gutter Cleaning handles their business and that their advertising is misleading and meaningless, seemingly really meaning "just If your windows are few and easily accessible".

They arrived a little early , did a very good thorough job.

We have used APS Window Cleaning for 2 or 3 years with excellent results. They have apparently either merged with, or been acquired by MGM Window Cleaning. This has NOT resulted in improvements. As in the past, a 2 man Hispanic crew did an excellent job of cleaning both the inside and outside of all of our house windows. They were polite and very efficient, finishing in about 2 hours. What appears to have changed is the management (not) occurring in the office. We had to call twice over a 4 day period to finally receive a call back. When the crew was over an hour late for the appointment time, another call to the office asking about had occurred was never answered. Although the crews appear to be just as good as in the past, don't expect much response to any telephone inquiry.

Excellent job. We have a two story open family room and the APS team brought all the equipment needed to reach windows two stories high inside and out. They were quick and efficient, my wonderful wife is very pleased and will recommend them to our neighbors.

We contacted APS to power wash our house and clean the outside windows. Since we had used APS before with good results, we didn't think much about it. Two men arrived on time and were done in about 2 hours. That afternoon after everything had dried, I noticed that some of the gutters still had streaks on them and may have not been wiped down properly with the cleaner. I contacted APS and left a voice mail, but never received a call back 2 weeks later we started cleaning the inside windows and noticed that some them had really bad streaks on the outside. I didn't try to call APS back again. We won't use this company again.

He always does a good job on our windows.

They did an excellent job on the windows. They did an excellent job on our roof and we couldn't find anyone to clean our roof. They didn't have any problem cleaning the roof because people kept saying it was too steep. They did a very, very good job. They were very professional and prompt. When we called them they came out within 3 days.

Quickly returned called and set up an appointment withing a couple of days. Crew arrived at appointed time and withing 2 hours we had a clean roof and gutters. The roof which had become black with stains from oak tree looks brand new. Cleaned up afterwards and all we had to do was to blow off the patio after the water had dried. Would definitely call them again.

Theman that was sent out arrived on time, cleaned the gutters and didn't leave a mess behind him. The price was reasonable and he was cautious.

They were prompt, quick and easy - cleaned inside and out of every window - and there were lots of them with some up 3 stories.... good job very pleased

The workers from APS Window Cleaning Company did a good job. They were two people who came out for the job. It was a hot day but they got the job done in an hour's time. They had to use a ladder to reach some of windows. They had some kind of solution they used to clean the windows. They did a good job. I could see through my windows for a change. They stayed cleaned for a while too. I would use them again in the future.
