Matt with 9 Trees Landscape was recommended to me by my neighbors. After reviewing his other projects on the website and meeting with Matt in person, I knew that I had made the right choice! Matt designed my patio including pool layout for my backyard. He communicated readily via email and in person and provided a budget estimate with my goals in mind. He worked well with the pool contractor to coordinate timing of the project. Once the job started, Chris, the foreman, and other workers were on time, worked hard, provided updates, and were meticulous in their work. When adjustments in the project plan were needed, Matt was quick to communicate those changes. Matt checked in on the job site regularly as well. They came a day early, which was fine. The employees were not wearing face coverings, but I did not challenge it. They cleaned 4 fireplaces in my home, which took about 15 minutes each. I asked them to look at some outside fire pits, which they did, and I asked them about the possibility of adding a gas heater to my solarium. The employees were excellent, but asked for $540.00 in charges. This was extreme, in my opinion, since they only spent 1 1/2 hours total. I called the company the next day and was given the run around. They eventually referred me to the owner, who never called back. I expected a reduced charge, since I only paid around $200.00 the last time of service. They could not explain their charge plan satisfactorily. I feel that they were price gouging, since their is little competition in their field. I will not be using their services in the futureshow more

Stellar! I highly recommend 9 Trees and would use them again. I had a few companies in my consideration set when we started this process (all from Angie's List reviews) and I had heard great things about 9 Trees from friends too. 9 Trees immediately stood out because they promptly responded to my calls, showed up on time, and gave honest assessments of what we were dealing with in regards to the old patio, the grading, and options. I felt immediately comfortable with them, their expertise, and experience. Matt helped us sketch out our plans and gave us ideas too, things we hadn't considered, but was never pushy. He was patient, walked us around his patio yard to see the different types of stones, pavers etc.. and we took some home to see how they looked against the house. We were placed on the schedule and told who our crew would be and their experience. We added in a fire pit to the wall and we knew we wanted some kind of design to it; Jason on the crew played around with a few things and since we were at work he texted photos of options as he created them with us and we landed on a great one. Everyone was very responsive the entire time, including the post work communications. The tear out of the old patio went very fast, and they were careful to preserve as much grass in our yard despite the heavy equipment rolling around. The end product looks great and we are very happy with it! They cleaned up the yard, graded everything, and put down more dirt and grass seed.
