install was great intill i had problems a couple months later with my a/c sinking intot he ground,....they have horrible customer service from my expereience, everytime i called i ahd to reexplain my problem, they schedule and didnt show, finally came but told me i was going to have to pay disconnect and reconnect, intill i fixed my landscaping,.....which was not a problem before the install. Overall the intall of new heater and a/c was good, just had problems afterwards. they where on time durinng the install. the sales people are very friendly. I Had gotten a few different estimates and they where the most pricey, but in general the main reason i choose them was for the warranty on the euipment is was the best. They got a C for price cause what i said before. They got a B on Punctuality because of the no show appt., the ey got a B overall , cause of there lack of communication between office and serive techs., the responsive grade is also due to the fact there where informed about the problem and it took two weeks to get them out here. In repsonse though they where very helpful in sovling the problem at the end, SO it gets a B.

It was a little hard to get hold of them. We called the office and they had to try to find a technician so that took a few days of playing phone tag. Other than that it was really good. They were professional and they cleaned up after themselves. He was early when he came. We would use them again if we needed to.

I have not had another experience with heating and cooling companies but if this is an example of how all companies do their work, then I would gladly give them an A+. We have been very satisfied with the workmanship and economy of our heating/ac. The whole house stays warm in winter and cool in summer.
Description of Work: After getting more than one estimate for new furnace and central a/c we chose to do business with this company. They removed our old furnace and replaced all duct work and added another air return and new vent in our family room. It was a pretty dirty job at times since our home only has crawl space for the duct work and that was the location of our old furnace. The old furnace was in worse shape than we thought. Tim, the rep for Grogg's told us we were lucky as the furnace could have been deadly. We moved our furnace, at Grogg's suggestion to our cellar where we currently have our hot water heater . This area makes for easy access for repairs or maintenance. The workers were on time and did the work in a very efficient manner. They cleaned up after themselves each day and left our home each workday in good shape. Upon completion of the installation they did a quality check and left us with all the necessary paperwork for any problems we might encounter with our new heating and cooling units.

I always get more than one quote these guys check everything. They take measurements, asked what my needs were, and made sure I was fully understanding in what I was recieving. The other guys just gave me a price or never returned my call. I would recommend and I only felt necessary to leave a rating score because I felt the person who left a score of an "F" was more likely a discrultled employee trying to give this company a bad name. I had many referals and now I am one of them. Grogg's will be the company I use and recommend in the future.

From the start there were problems. I have never been so disappointed about a job being done.
Description of Work: Keith came out to our house and told us where all the ducts would be run. When the guys came out and started working they had no plans so they drew it on a piece of cardboard. I came up to check on them they hadn't put the duct work where we were told it was going to go. I stopped their work for the day to talk to Keith about it. After careful thought we told them to go ahead. They stopped working on our house to go work on another project for 2 weeks. After everything was in place we noticed that the duct work had major gaps, but they told us that would help with the air flow. The first winter we moved in we could not get the house above 55. It kept blowing fuses. We called them and one of their guys came out and told us that the return ducts weren't in the right place and that our house was very sound (no air coming in the house). I called them the next day and told them that I needed them to come out and move my ducts to the floor instead of them being up at the ceiling. In the process of trying to finish our remodel, found the the return ducts for upstairs were not finished. Also had to move the return ducts lower to the floor ourselves. In the process we had to make the room areas smaller to accommodate this. Talked with Keith and then one of the Owners Tim, they requested a copy of the electric bills. In the process of trying to get these bills and history from the power company and talking to the Public Utilities, Tim said he wasn't going to do anything because I haven't produced the electric bill for him to review and owed the the balance on the unit. We refused to pay and still do until the unit is fixed right, finished and tested. I was also waiting on parts to make the central air work. They did bring the parts to finish the condensate pump but did not seal the wall where they ran their work lines. Had to seal them ourselves. We sent them a certified letter informing them of all the problems and that our electric bill for 3 months was over $3500. The owner told us that we were exaggerating so we decided to take it the city to see what could be done. We were informed by the city that Grogg's didn't have a work permit to work in the city. Well a year has passed and the work still isn't complete, our electric bill hasn't change during the winter months, but I'm still getting bills from them which I will not pay until the work is done and done right. And we haven't heard if they are now permitted in Weston or not. Can not finish all drywall until I am sure the unit is right. Makes for a great Quality home and living. Could go on and on but the fact is the job was lousy, poor and not worth it.
