I was so very impressed with the professionalism of the sales and installation contactsl. I was most impressed with the quality of work. The installation of all the furnace and duct work replaced in the area of the furnace was so neat. Their work ethics were better than any other I have experienced. They were offering a special for their 43rd year anniversary. Look for their anniversary specials in October. I would recommend them to anyone.

This is the best company we have ever dealt with in the home-improvement line. When they came to do the estimates and explain our options, they were prompt, professional and completely explained everything and answered our questions most satisfactorily. When the installers came and did the work they were so nice and polite and clearly knew what they were doing. The work was completed with as little "bother" to us as I could think was possible. After the installation was complete, they explained everything, especially concentrating on the new-to-us programmable thermostat until we understood how to operate it with no trouble. I was also highly impressed with the way they cleaned everything up so well after such a big installation. We were left with absolutely nothing to clean up. This system has made our home so much more comfortable and worry-free. We love it.

I called on Friday and was given an appointment for Monday. Tech was early for appointment. Service was professional and courtious. Price was excellent for amount of time and services performed.

After the initial call, they called and said that my A/C problem might be a clogged filter and to try that first. That was not the problem. If that would have fixed the problem, there would have been no charge. They could have checked that when they came and charged me for a service call, so they were off to a good start. The technician was very friendly and even put covers on his shoes while in the house. He quickly found and repaired the coolant leak but could not refill it that day, as the temperature had fallen to the 60s that day. When checking with the scheduler he found the next available appointment was a week away. However, high temperatures were due to return the next day. He ended up squeezing us in at the end of the day a couple of days later. We would not hesitate to recommend Grogg's for any HVAC work.

They gave us a fair estimate and scheduled work in a timely basis. All work went well. The only negative was that the young man did not replace the water heater vent, since the pipes were not in exactly the same place. We were able to buy flex vent tubing which worked fine, but I would have preferred that they correct that upon completion of the project. The A/C has worked wonderfully and we were very happy with the Grogg's.

We had a major store last year that keep us out of electric for a week in late June. When the electric came back on a surge went though our AC and knocked it out. We were one of five in our neighborhood this had happened too. We called around and Groggs was the only one willing to work wit us to get it back on as soon as possible. They had a very go rep that came to our home to go over what we needed, and pricing. The guys that installed the unit did a very good job, and it only took hours not a few day of waiting to have AC again. We have had no problems since, and with the warranty they offered we get free service for a few years, and a free unit with free installation for 10 yrs.

The job was done in a timely and professional manner. Made sure everything was working correctly and explained how things worked and they cleaned up the job site upon completion.

With my usual HVAC guy was out of town, I called Groggs when I discovered my upstairs furnace was not working. They came the following day and confirmed my suspicion of the source of the problem. They had the part in stock and returned later the same day to replace the faulty part. I am very please with the service and the service charge. The cost of the part was more than I was expecting ($480) but that would have likely been the same regardless of which HVAC company I called. I would definitely call Groggs again in the future; but I hope I don't have to!

on Friday, November 17, 2012 our furnace bit the dust. I called Groggs on Saturday, the sales representative showed up on Monday and the furnace was installed on Wednesday. The workers showed up on time and worked all day. They cleaned up their mess and took the old furnace with them. I will be having them back in the spring to install AC.

Very well, the owner Keith did a personal visit to gauge cost and said in the quote whatever he quotes its never above as he considers himself the expert and if the quote is incorrect he eats the cost as a result. The job went very well, it took a full day to remove the old furnace and install the new one but every man on the job was professional and did a fantastic job. Would definitely use them again!

The gentleman who estimated the job was prompt and communicated well. He called in advance to confirm his arrival time and it was clear to me he knew his business well. He explained the project to me and my wife. We agreed with his assessment and asked him to schedule the project. About two weeks later a two man crew arrived to begin work. The first day seemed very productive. When they left for the day the crew told my wife that they expected to be done tomorrow. I took a look at the work and estimated that it was about 40% complete. On the second day the crew showed up 90 minutes late and spent most of the day enjoying a number of breaks. Taking breaks from a hard job is fine, but the effort just wasn't there on day 2. I took a look at the progress at the end of day 2 and the job was about 60% completed. I made a call and talked with the shop manager and explained what we had observed. He told me he would find out what was going on. On day 3 the crew arrived on time. They gave my wife some nasty looks and got to work. After 90 minutes they told her the job was done and asked for payment. She refused and told the crew she wanted me to look the work over before paying. That evening I took a look and found about 20% of the main duct had been left exposed (not insulated) and several other deficiencies. I called Grogg's again and asked for a supervisor to review the work. Two days later the same gentleman who estimated the project arrived as scheduled. He took a look at the work and told me what had been done was not acceptable. He then spent about 3 hours making it right himself. Summary: In the end the job was completed and we are pleased with the work. However, had we not expressed concerns to the company management twice the project would have cost more and would not have been properly completed. I suspect that the crew was spoken to after their lack of productivity was reported following the second day. The third day they were angry and just decided to try to get back at me by leaving work incomplete. The problem was caused by lack of supervision. On the positive side, the office staff was very polite and helpful. Management took prompt action to address the shortcomings that were identified. I think Grogg's is a good company that had a bad day. The yound man who estimated the job and made things right in the end, Jason, was embarrassed by what he saw and apologized. His efforts saved Grogg's reputation with me. The "C" rating is intended to be constructive criticism. I am considering using Grogg's to service our HVAC system on a regular basis.

They are going to help me with keeping my unit fine and plus the contract will give me a discount if I have to buy new parts for it. I like them because the people they send are always professional.

They do a 24 hour service and if one calls them anytime of the day they’ll come out and fix the heating or air conditioning and that’s what is use them for. I also had them come out in the winter two or three years ago. It was not cheap but they came out in the middle of the night in the winter for me and fixed it. I had to pay an extra fee for them to come out right away.

They had installed a new heating pump. They are very prompt. They are very professional.

Overall this company was very easy to deal with. I chose to go with this company, verses others, because of Angie's list and all the reviews i read about this company. This was the only co. that had an "A" review/rating :) I felt it was necessary to add my review as well, since i had such a great experience.

Very poorly! If you notice their response they claim I wanted a total parts break down. WHAT A LIE.......All I asked for was what would the condenser unit would cost me? They wont tell you because they have a 500% mark up for what you can order it for directly from the company using the internet. WHY would ANY consumer want a 500% mark up? I work too hard for my money........

They are very professional. We had them install a new ac unit and have fixed a heater for us in the past. They are clean, efficient and punctual. They are personable yet professional.

Went very well. Came when they said they would. After my discription of how the machine was acting, the serviceman seemed to know what was wrong. When his assumption proved incorrect and he couldn't find anything wrong, he blew on the vacuum hose while he was explaining to me what he had thought was wrong. After reconnecting the hose, the system seemed to work fine, so all he charged me was the reduced service call. (I had purchased a service contract a few months earlier.) I was very pleased.

I have been using them for 20 years. They come in every six months and do routine maintenance. They were very quick to respond to my call. And I would definitely use them again in the future.

My mom was pretty satisfied. They had a leak in the air conditioning system but came right back and fixed it so it has been good ever since. They did fine and I will use them again in the future.

I didn't spend anything because they had put furnaces in for me that was under warranty. They are nice to work with. They are reasonably priced. They are prompt. They stand behind what they do because it has been over a year and they still made it good. The work that they do is very good and I'm very pleased with them.

They were there within a day of me calling. I think it took a week to get the actual unit in. They were very prompt in installing the unit. They were really nice guys. They explained everything to me. They did is very quickly. The price was good for what we got. We definitely got our money's worth. They were middle-aged gentlemen and not young kids out doing it. I feel good when they are just a little older. It gives them a little more under their belts. Everything with them was great. I never had a problem. I had them once to check an air filter. They were here the next day and quick and easy. I would rate them highly on everything. I would use them again in the future.

I would recommend them highly. They came very quickly because it was hot. It was within a matter of a few hours. I was surprised that they came so quickly. What happened was that ants had gotten into the outside condenser. He found it right away and got it fixed immediately. He came in and explained everything to me. He showed me the parts that he had to put back in. I was very happy. The price seemed very reasonable. I plan to continue using them.

They came out and find out it was a pressure switch. It took them about a half and hour and now I am toasty warm.
