Description of Work: "My 23-year heat pump died in July. Even though I was had not been a customer before,Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating did their best to give me an appointment quickly. For the first appointment, the service rep was on time and he checked the old system. He provided an estimate for a replacement system that has an excellent warranty. What I really appreciated is that he didn't try to sell a more expensive system than I needed. The system he recommended is a good fit for my home. | |When the men came out to replace the old system, they were right on time. They were pleasant and professional. They removed the old system and took it away. The bill they gave me for the new system was exactly what the estimate had been. | |I was not a customer before this but they treated as though I had been a customer for a long time. I will continue to use them to make sure my new heat pump system keeps working for years."

Description of Work: Replaced entire heating system on our rental unit on an emergency basis. They responded promptly and professionally and provided extensive service at a reasonable price. We have no problems since and plan to use them soon for routine service for our home unit.

Description of Work: Replaced HVAC. Had to take old unit out of the attic and replace with new. Not an easy job. They were extremely professional. Very impressed with the quality of the service. Would highly recommend.

Description of Work: GFI had been tripped and I don't go in my crawl space so they tripped it back. Seems I have used them every winter since I purchased the house. Labor is $95 an hour and that has not increased. | |I am surprised that they have not offered an annual service contract.

Description of Work: They are simply the best. From start to finish. Professional, curtious, knowledgeable, clean. Had a brand new unit installed, in the attic. In by 8:30am done by 5:00pm. We were thrilled. |

Description of Work: I contacted these people to do a check of the entire system for the winter. I have two heat pumps, the air handlers are in the crawl space. One serviceman was insolent, and insisted that he had no way of repairing a broken part in my heat pump air handler. I asked whether he could call to see whether the part was in his warehouse...answer was no. I would have no heat until the next week because they would have to "order it". I offered to pay overnight delivery...no response. I called back to complain and another serviceman came and did the repairs. I paid on the spot and asked whether all else was ok. Yes, it was. The next week a repair man was doing insulation repair in the crawl space and reported that an entire section of ductwork for the heat pump was down and lying on the ground! The heat was pouring into the crawl space! He jury-rigged it with wire and duct tape, putting it back in place. When I called to complain, the woman on the end of the line said they couldn't get to it for another 2 weeks. Totally unsatisfactory! If I had not had the other man doing work down there, I'd have heated the crawl space all winter!!!
