+ -1 moreI keep a service contract with this company. The storage price was amazingly low and they even cleaned my furnace and air conditioning unit. I really like the service contract I have with them and look forward to their next service visit in the spring.

+ -1 moreBegan with Teays Valley Heating and Cooling 9 years ago and was always pleased with them. I always had the Maintenance Agreement which came with two visits a year and priority service when needed. The motto was "service in hours, not days." Never a problem with TVH&C. After they sold to "Service Experts" the customer service began deteriorating. I have continued with the annual maintenance agreement but have had difficulty with them coming when they say they will and having to re-schedule. The straw that broke this camel's back was when three weeks ago our air went out. I called for my priority service and they couldn't work me in till the end of the following day. I called another local H&C company and they had a technician out that very morning. Today was my last and final maintenance visit from Service Experts. Too many other good local companies to continue with the lack of customer service provided by the conglomerate "Service Experts." When it comes to customer service I will be sticking with a local company not a national conglomerate.
Description of Work: Annual service maintenance check up on HVAC system.

+ -1 moreThe downstairs unit was not cooling, the arrived promptly and identified the problem. This turned out to be warranty work. Part was ordered and installed within 5 days. Unfortunately the unit's compressor went out 3 days later - again, they responded promptly - again warranty work - replaced the compressor within 4 days. They are always very prompt and courteous. We have been very satisfied with their work since 2005. (when we moved to WV and our recently purchased home's downstair's heating & ac had to be replaced) In 2006 they replaced the upstair's unit).

+ -1 moreOverall, the work that they did turned out pretty well. They were very truthful about my problems with the heating & cooling system. They were very professional. The work was done very quickly. They gave me an estimate on a new heating & cooling system as I am looking to get a new system to put in my home. My home is about twenty nine years old. I don’t know when the last heating and cooling system was put in. They call periodically to see if I need any service done to my heating and cooling system. They offer a solar powered system which costs about $7000 or $8000 more than the regular system. I am interested in getting a solar powered system put in. I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Teays Valley Heating & Cooling to tune-up my heating and cooling system.
