We contacted Mr. Becher to repaint our living room, foyer and stairwell. He returned our call promptly, and came out to give an estimate within a day or so. The estimate was very reasonable - particularly in light of the very high ceilings and stairwell challenges (20' to 24' vaulted ceilings). Mr Becher arrived ontime every day, and went above and beyond the call of duty by fixing numerous "nail pops" and other imperfections in the walls. He patched, primed and painted several coats and did a great job. Don is a very honest and personable man. We paid him 50% when he was about half done, and the balance upon completion. We would definitely hire him again for any painting jobs in the future.

The people from Becher's Quality Painting & Home Improvement were two brothers. They were very personable and easy to get along with. They were professional; they had good equipment and were very careful about spillage or getting paint anywhere. They did their work carefully and they did it fine. They had to put two coats on the walls because they were pink and we were painting it white. We thought they did a good job.

Rough, but many factors involved to fairly evaluate, but would have normally be fine.

They did an excellent job and had good equipment.There was no splashed or spilled paint anywhere. We removed the pictures and they removed the furniture and put it back including a piano and china cabinet. They also removed two large draperies and put them back. All furniture was covered with plastic. They were punctual on both days and were friendly and easy to work with. We would definitely use them again.

Mr. Becher responded to our inquiry quickly and made time in his schedule to get the job done. He took a wall patch to get the paint matched to save us money by only needing one coat. Everything was taped and cleaned, and the result was exceptional. There was no mess and nothing to clean up. Mr. Becher even did a little extra that we hadn't requested. Very pleasant person, very professional, an exceptional experience that turned a stressful situation into a resolution. Would hire again, without question.

We requested an estimate for some water damage to ceiling and ceiling/interior wall painting. Mr. Becher was unwilling to travel to our home to give an estimate. He said he would lose a whole day just to do that. We are about an hour, perhaps a little less from his location, but he was one of the few folks ranked so highly that served us according to Angie's List. We were disappointed.

Contacted Don to get an estimate; he responded quickly and gave a thorough (room by room) estimate, and stuck to it. He arrived on time, did what he said he would, and was friendly and professional. He acquired the paint and supplies in order to use his discounts, and he provided the receipts...billing was not an issue. He did an excellent, and very deliberate (don't expect a speed demon) job. It was a pleasant surprise that there were no surprises.

Becher was totally professional and the project was well managed. They had the first class equipment (ie pnuematic lifters for washing machines and other heavy appliances), scaffolding, etc. They were very careful and cleaned up their work each day. They estimated 6 weeks and were finished on time so that we could receive our furniture delivery from out of town movers with no problems, They were enjoyable to talk with and pleasurable to work with. I would definitely hire them again.

Called Mr Becher, he came out and gave me an estimate, I had already purchased some paint and since he gets contractor pricing he was able to get me a store credit. He covered everything and taped everything two coats of paint were applied per room. It took him a week and he only stopped for lunch working from 9 a.m. to approximately 6 daily. It was a lot of work moving everything but he was prepared with sliders etc. to make it easier. He moved everything back in place and even used the sweeper before hand.

The project went very well. The timeframe was within the original six week estimate submitted on the written contract and the total cost was also very close to the original estimate. The Bechers were very prompt each morning and kept us informed about what to expect as the project progressed. The quality of their work is extremely professional due to their painting skills, their high level of due care in preparation and cleanup, and a significant investment in their equipment. For example, they have a pnumatic lift which can float heavy furniture across a floor on a cushion of air. In addition, the Bechers were good to provide valuable advice on various issues that would surface as it related to the house or adjusting to a new neighborhood. On a personal note working with the Beachers was a pleasurable experience and my wife and I enjoyed our daily conversations with them. Given the time of the year, they even shared tomatoes from their garden. I would definately recommend Becher Quality Painting and Home Improvement to others and will definately retain their services for future projects on my own property.

Don did an outstanding job! The quality of his work is excellent and my husband and I couldn't be more pleased. Not only did Don do great work, he is extremely trustworthy and had a key to our home the entire time. Working and living an hour a way from the house, we were unable to get there daily and Don called frequently to report his progress along the way. Not only did Don do a fabulous job painting, he was our knight in shining armor! When our upstairs air conditioning went out Don knew a reliable repairman to call. He also took out our old kitchen counter tops and removed a cast iron sink (taking the sink to Habitat for Humanity for us!) He recommended a plumber who hooked up our new sink AND he installed two light fixtures and shortened our wood stairs to the attic!! Don is wonderful and he will be coming back soon to install new light fixtures and ceiling fans. We highly recommend him.

I hired Don based on his rating on Angie's List, as well as my initial contacts with him. I was concerned about the person I was hiring, as I was having the work done for my mother and was unable to meet him in person prior to the start of the project. As it turned out, my Mom was extremely comfortable after their first meeting. She and I both were very pleased with the work and I felt so relieved for to have such a kind gentleman working in her home. Even though it's difficult living in the house when the work is being done, she really enjoyed his company, which made it so much easier. I would definitely hire him again.

Individual was very pleasant and hard working. Biggest problem was getting job started and it took longer than expected.

He gave an estimate and stopped by to scope out the job. Don painted the ceiling and walls of a large room and hallway. He patched all the holes (one large one). We had lots of smoke damage from a fire, and we were changing the colors of the room as well. He did an outstanding job! His work is excellent and exceeds anything that we expected! He went above and beyond the call of duty in my opinion. We are planning on using his services again in the future!

Don was very outgoing and friendly. He was helpfull in picking out the best type of paint to use for each area. He was professional and carefull in moving furniture and items out of the way so he he could work and not disrupt our daily lives while the project progessed. He was very responsive to the changes and additional work that comes up in any project. He cleaned up at the end of each day.

I've used Don before and just like my previous job with him, everything went smooth and great! Don and his brother Bill are very meticulous and clean up at the end of each day before they leave. You'd almost not even know someone had been there except for the progression of the work. In addition to excellent workmanship, Don is a true pleasure to have around. I have no concerns with letting him have a key to my house to come and go as he needs on the job. VERY trustworthy!

Don and Bill have always been dependable and reliable. They completed the painting and entry tile before we moved in. Then, with the bathrooms, they worked with us on schedules. Each bath needed a lot of coordinating of ideas and design. Don and Bill always listened to our ideas and suggested ideas of their own - which was extremely helpful. We are on a budget and they worked within it. At the end of each work day, they left the area as clean as possible with all tools and equipment put away.

Working with Don was one of the most pleasurable experiences I've had in home repair/remodel. He stopped by one evening to figure us an estimate. Believe it or not, he was the only person who showed up and actually measured! Within a day or two I had an estimate and he began painting about 2 weeks later after he finished jobs he was already on.
