Description of Work: We had two bathrooms remodeled. I could not ask for better contractors. Albert and Harold listened and did everything that we wanted done. They made sure that we were happy with the outcome. Our bathrooms are beautiful! Large marble shower is my favorite. They did a fantastic job! They were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. Their work is excellent! Albert and Harold are very hard working and trustworthy people and I could tell that from the first time that we met them. We were not disappointed. I would definately recommend and will plan to use them again in the future.

Description of Work: Several months ago, Mr. Runyon came and accessed our problems under the house. He told us what he could do for us and what he couldn't do for us. He also gave me a phone number of a contractor that we could get an estimate from.. Today I called Mr. Runyon and he recommended someone to give us an estimate on correcting our water drainage problem. The man is coming tomorrow to give us an estimate. Mr. Runyon appears to be a very honest man who is trying to help people, whether or not he gets the credit or money.

Description of Work: I had work done before with Kar Home Repair & Remodeling and had them do some remodeling again for me I had work done in my bathroom. New walls, counter top, and doors.

Description of Work: Removed bathtub and tile floor. Replaced with a custom walk in shower with glass sliding doors (cost of door not included in price) and new ceramic tile floor. Also repaired a section of tiled wall behind toilet and fixed exhaust fan. Also repainted ceiling.

Description of Work: KAR has now finished a second project for me. The proposal was to update the second bathroom in my home. The walls were to be covered with fiberglass panels and the ceiling was to have drywall installed and to be textured. All trim was to be removed for the work and was to be reinstalled. Painting was done on some of the trim as needed. A new water saving commode was installed. Clean up and removal of debris was done. Everything in our agreement was done in a professional manner. The workmanship was well done and the project was completed on time. After the bathroom was finished, I had other small household repairs to be done and we came to terms on the price of the added materials and labor. A new ceiling fan was installed in a bedroom and a deadbolt lock was installed on an entry door. The new projects were done in the same professional manner as the other work done for me in the past. I will use KAR in the future. The contractor has very good skills for how to manage his proposals and how to do the job in a timely manner. He earns his fee many times over.

Description of Work: I had two projects for KAR Home & Remodeling. The first was home maintenance and were as follows: find and repair the source of sewer gas and seepage in the basement, install new new steel entry door to basement with a new lock set, install a new hot water heater, lable electrical panel circuits,rehang pot rack on kitchen wall, install a portable heat and air unit on second floor, repaire two ceiling fans, repair wind damaged siding on first floor. The second project was to redo a small first floor bathroom.

Description of Work: I used Kar Home Repair & Remodeling to remodel a bathroom. It was a complete gut; I had them take everything out including floors, ceilings and walls.

Description of Work: The home was remodeled to be handicap accessible. A wheelchair ramp was installed and had the front door move to another location so to use the ramp easily. Inside the home where the original door was a new wall placed. The original front porch was no longer usable so had the kitchen extended to cover the original porch. Converted a bedroom to be handicap accessible bathroom a walk-in shower, toilet, closet, and washer and dryer was installed. Also an emergency door was installed so if you needed to leave quickly you could just kick the door to open then had a straight line for the new installed front door to exit.
