It was awesome. Woke up to a flood and they fixed my problem with no hassles. Brought everything they needed to do the job. One on the best service experiences ever.

They came out and tested our water and recommended two water treatment systems to help fix the current issues. We have only been in our home for a few months. We had the water independently tested prior to their visit and their results agreed with what we had. They arrived on time and were very professional. We did have a small leak from one of the connection points but we called them and since we were having them come back out to install a new kitchen faucet that we purchased, they tightened the connection at that time. Everything is running great and there are no streaks or stains in our toilets from the water. It was good to be able to have a chance to talk with Barry and learn of his Christian background and recent experience in a low-income neighborhood with his church. I'm always happy to support a local small business trying to make a living but especially happy to help a business with a Christian background/belief. I highly recommend.

Called and they came and replaced the sump pump the same day. They were very professional and courteous with my 1 year and 4 year old which likes to ask questions. Would definitely call them again when I need a plumber.

Rarely do you find a service provider who helps solve plumbing issues like Barr Plumbing of WV. Barr suggested our builder had used 2nd rate material and workmanship on the kitchen counter and pointed out our problem, not visible, the sink did not snuggly fit the countertop. Barr gave suggestions on what was wrong with the sink 'braces/pins' and sizing and what worked. Barr assessed our overall plumbing system above and beyond the service call. For the kitchen, Barr gave the names of other contractor firms that did kitchen work and we ended up with a granite countertop, etc. The second visit Barr showed what was immediately needed to solve a problem in our guest bathroom. They are reasonable in cost and offer a fair value for plumbing services. They arrive promptly and come in less than ideal (snow, sleet) conditions.Their professionalism and attention to details is commendable as most offer a quick substandard fix here in WV.

The owner and his helper arrived a fairly quickly determined a ball was stuck in the bath tub valve cartridge (Moen) that was preventing the hot water from flowing. He happened to have a cartridge and replaced the old one and it worked fine. He then cut a hole in the adjoin closet to access the pipes where I could not before. He also placed support brackets on the pipes within the wall to keep the shower head and faucet from moving. It was very good service for the price and I felt genuinely satisfied that the price was correct for the work. In fact I had assumed it would be more. Very satisfied with this company.

I have had them out twice now in about a year for unrelated issues. Last year, they replaced a section of pipe for me that had a small leak. Today, they were here because of a failed water heater element and a tank that wouldn't drain. Both times they have always been professional, quick and easy to work with. The pricing is very fair and he is willing to answer any questions you may have about your home's plumbing and how to maintain it. This time he even gave me a piece of advice (in a very polite way) about something else he noticed while in my basement which wasn't related to plumbing, which was welcome and not something i had thought about before. My wife and I both really like him and will always use Barr Plumbing going forward. He recommends other services or solutions as needed but is not pushy about it which is appreciated. He is obviously smart and knows the ins and outs about how these systems work and not just how to repair them. Highly recommended.

They got here on time. They did what I asked them to do quickly and had all the material required with them. They removed the defective water heater and replaced it , Then cleaned up & left NO PROBLEMS OR SURPRISES.

Woke up at 3 am and discovered we had no water. At 7 I got up and call Barr Plumbing and spoke with owner Barry Barr. I explained situation. Barry understood and explained her had numerous other calls from the weekend but would try to work us in his schedule. He suggested contacting other well pump folks in case he could not make it. An hour later he called to check on the situation. He said that he and his assistant Dusty were about 1/2 hour away and were coming. Arrived at home by 8:30 and determined that the pressure switch was faulty and replaced it. By 11 am all was fine and house had water. I was SO impressed with Barry and Dusty. They were very understanding in this extreme situation. Use this company. You will not go wrong!!! .

The outside pipes had burst on our well pump due to extreme cold. Barr Plumbing came the next day, on a Sunday, as promised, on time, and did the job in about two hours. The price seemed a little high, but this was emergency service on a Sunday.

From start to finish Barry and Dusty were the best. Prompt, professional, clean, educational, patient, answered all our questions. We had very little interruption of water service. Even though they don't do landscaping, they cleaned up the yard. They took all the old stuff. I couldn't have asked for any better. We will be repeat customers. Planning some faucet work in the spring. Our Plummer for life. As you can tell we are very pleased.

We initially called for a plumber because of a leak in the kitchen faucet and also asked for an estimate of some other items. They performed all of the work within the estimated time, and also provided some suggestions for future consideration regarding water treatment for our well. They were professional, on-time, and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Barry takes a lot of pride in his work and explains everything in graphic detail step by step of what caused the problem...how to correct it...and prevent it from reoccurring. He is well mannered, considerate, polite and professional. He always removes his shoes upon entering your home.

This company used an E-mail for me to get in touch w/ them...they gave me their first appointment opening. They showed up promptly, were SO polite & helpful. Showed us how to fix the problem & charged me only a service call. Would call them again anytime!!!

While they don't keep a large inventory of parts "on the truck" they were able to go locally, get the right item and install it fast. And, that was why I dinged them on the price. The labor was twice the price of the item installed and it literally took them five minutes to install the item. Still, they were very professional and polite, in every other way they were great

Barry showed up within an hour to fix/replace our broken faucet. I had a new one to install, but needed assistance. He installed the faucet quickly and diagnosed and repaired another item under the sink that needed attention. They were both very professional and skilled. They left no mess and the price was good. I will absolutely call on Barr Plumbing when I need any other water or plumbing services. I highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services.

Communication was unbelievable. I called in the morning, explained the problem, they gave me an approximate time he would be there. As the day progresses, he calls a few times to update me on his timing. Amazing. He shows, figured out where the leak was coming from, fixed it, and then stuck around for 10 mins to make sure that we had fixed the leak. Totally impressed.
