The plumber, owner, Barry, came (after a reschedule and two weeks of waiting when we could have went with someone else). An elderly family friend attended the repair (this was on a rental property), half-way through the owner and employee he had with him stormed out: yelling through the common areas of our building, yelling religious slurs and verbally assaulting us— stated we should pray that we can find someone to complete the job. The employee (young guy) he had with him was terrified. This all came from us requesting that he attempt to finish his work same day, after he stated he had other jobs he needed to go to and would like to reschedule for a third time since he needed to go pick up a part that he didn’t have on hand. After reviewing security camera footage of common areas, my jaw remains floored at the behavior and words shared by Barry. One minute he was friendly, and the next minute he snapped into this: very appalling, odd, and scary.

If I could rate above an A, I would. Barr Plumbing kept me informed of everything that was taking place for the well-pump assessment and replacement. They were very knowledgable and very courteous. If you are looking for experts in well-pumps, this is the company to hire.

Barr plumbing had someone come out to assess the problem on the same day - and were also able to fix the issue at the same time. Due to the speedy response to the well pump issue I asked them if they could schedule a visit to assess the leaking hot water tank ( I had another plumber scheduled but best appointment time was two weeks hence). They were able to schedule another visit very quickly and replace the problem tank.

The work done was excellent, and the crew that arrived were very nice and professional. I had a few ideas of how to approach the installation since it's a small space and they were able to make it work. They were very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had.

When the well pump was removed from the well, the plastic connection was broken. Barr plumbing replaced the connection and the well was pumping water again. Only fixed what was broken and no more.

My first phone call/message wasn't returned after a few days. On my second call, I was told it sounded to extensive and they didn't do that kind of work. Really? Perhaps they should change their web site and advertising, because it makes it sound they do everything.

Reviewed Angies List and Barr Plumbing was at the top: AL certified and good reviews. Called and spoke with them and was told it was too big of a job and would take too long. Asked for any recommendations and they said to check on line reviews. If a small 2 bedroom cabin with straight line runs is too much for them, perhaps their ads about what all they do needs to change as well as AL's certification process.

It turned out great. Very professional. It was a little expensive. They came in prepared, took everything out, and everything was left immaculate as if they weren't even here. Sometimes you have to pay for good customer service, so I don't mind that. They seemed genuine up front. I basically told them what I thought the issue was with water on the floor by the tank, so they asked a few questions on the size of the tank and diagnosed what was going on and gave me everything up front. It was much better than the others who just wanted to come out here. It is always good to have an idea of what's going on and what it may cost before you high tail it out here. I like to know up front and they were very good at that. I appreciated that. I knew what was happening going in the door.

Their honesty and their punctuality and their dedication because their dedicated and devoted to making sure they fix the problem, they could have rip us off big time because we got an estimate somebody wanted to charge us three or four thousand dollars to fix that commode supposedly to do a like a pump and all kind of stuff in it, they came in and unclogged it, they worked for couple of hours on it but they did it like immediately, they came right out, at first they said they couldn't fix it right away and we had called somebody else and they couldn't get to it and Barr said that they would come out and look at it they weren't gonna promise that if they could do it real quick they would and they came out and they got it done cause we had company coming in on that weekend, in fact it was the fourth of July.

Concluded they did not want my business. First told: we charge $100/hr plus $75 just to come out to the house. I needed some boundary around the overall cost for budget purposes - this sounded like a bottomless money-pit proposition. He did not listen to explanation of septic tank location work. Told me I needed to have septic pumped every 3 years. 1) this makes no sense. it would depend on the size of the septic and # of people using it. 2) I'm not having septic problems. I just want to locate where the field is relative to the distribution tank (which is visible) - as the website suggests they can do. I guess Barr does so much business in certain areas they don't need the work. That's fine. I'll find someone who does, who will listen, and can cost the job in a reasonable way.

Excellent! Barr Plumbing did a great job repairing our broken pipe. They were very responsive over the weekend and communicated numerous times to me in order to set up the Monday appointment in order to repair my water line. They did a great job describing what needed to be repaired to my wife and made the repairs in no time at all! They were very polite and professional and we highly recommend them. Their office called an hour before my appointment to confirm and let me know that Barry would be out within the hour. VERY welcome since I was taking the time off from work to meet him. Barry was punctual, friendly, professional and knowledgable. He explained everything as he went along, including the lifetime warranty of our Moen faucet (wasn't aware of that!). He even took a quick look at my tub drain stopper and suggested some options for replacements. I will definitely be calling them again! It's nice to know there is an established and reasonably priced plumbing service in the area. And we always love to support local businesses!! Thanks Barr Plumbing!

Called and they dispatched a plumber later in the day. The leak was seeping in my basement ceiling. He corrected it and was gone within 20 minutes.

It went well. I imagine there was no way of knowing that the initial repair on the spigot would not last. They knew I was on a limited budget so they were trying to save me money by making a repair rather than a replacement. When they returned to repair the still leaking handle, they managed to use the spigot handle from another unused water pump unit to replace the whole handle mechanism and that did the trick and there has been no leaking since then. I am a single woman with little or no mechanical knowledge or expertise, so I always have the fear that a workman may take advantage of that, but I got the feeling that Barr Plumbing were honest and would not try to suggest unnecessary or costly repairs. They came out last year to install a well pump tank(?) in my basement and did an excellent job and also added an extra faucet in the basement to give me an outside water supply - something I didn't ask for but was very pleased that they did, and there was no extra charge for this add on.

Barry and Dusty are my go-to plumbers. They arrived a little later than expected (previous job ran late) but kept me informed of their delay, giving me the option to reschedule. They immediately got to work, identified other plumbing concerns I was not aware of, did the work I requested (replaced faucet) and work I needed (repaired 2 leaks in the plumbing under the sink). Courteous, professional, tidy, thorough and diligent. I am very happy with them and their work. I highly recommend them.

Three words come to mind: nice, knowledgeable, and honest. They showed up within 20 minutes of being called and had the problem identified and resolved 30 minutes later. We are now going to make Barr our permanent plumber and engage them for a separate project. They are that good. Thank you Barr!
