Description of Work: We had a broken sewer pipe under our house and had called several companies trying to get estimates on cost to fix the problem. Al Marino had the most courteous and professional staff, the most prompt response time, and the best price. They also offer in house financing. They showed up when they said they would and did a good job of fixing the problem. Would definitely use again.

Description of Work: We asked them to give us an estimate about installing a water filtering system. Our friends have one since the chemical spill and we wanted to get one too. Our friends were charged $3200 ($2279 for the system and $1000 for installation) for the system and installation through Al Marino. A representative of Al Marino came to our house. The location he suggested that the system be installed, he said he could install it for $5100. It was never discussed that our house had more complications in the installation process. When questioned by someone else the next day about why it would be so much he said that he didn't know where we got those numbers. But those numbers were in writing. He then told my husband he was wrong for doing that and he would email my husband the new quote. He never emailed the new quote despite multiple phone calls requesting it. An excuse was given each time or telling us it would be done tomorrow. But never done.

When the new water filtration system was first quoted to Mr. and Mrs. [member name removed] there was some confusion with options and the initial pricing of the new water filtration system. Once the [member name removed]'s talked to the water filtration specialists the [member name removed]'s approved the pricing. We ordered the new water filtration system and scheduled the installation of the new water filtration system. The new water filtration system was installed on Monday April 21st. 2014. I called [member name removed] on Tuesday April 22nd. When I asked [member name removed] if she was satisfied with her new water filtration system she said she loved Doug her installer, and her new water filtration system. I asked her if the work was done on time and on budget and she said yes. I asked her if I could quote her in my response to her review on Angie's list and she said absolutely.
