Got a call approximately 1 hour after I called the dispatch number. Repairman said he would be at my residence in 45 minutes and showed up almost exactly 45 minutes later. After I showed him the problem, we discuses possible solutions and decided on the best course of action. We talked about the various prices and what service I would get with the stated price. I really wasn't concerned about price as long as it was done correctly. After agreeing on the work that was to be performed, it only took him 15 minute to remove the old valves and install the new ones. Got the water back on, checked for leaks, and finished cleaning up the work area. Paid him, he left, and I got back to washing laundry..:o)

They rewired an outlet that the previous owners tired to wire themselves which in turn blew the fuse and the lights in kitchen and the garbage disposal. The garbage disposal was affected from the blown fuse so he had to fix the motor of the disposal. Told me disposal was quite old would eventual would have to get new one. He said that they could install one for us, but he was not pushy about us getting one from them or insisting that it need to be done right away. Over all I was very pleased with the work that they did. I am in need of a general contractor to do work on the kitchen and a bedroom that was flooded from the improper installation of a dishwasher and I am going to use them for the restoration.

Called the company on Monday to set up and appointment and they said they could come out the next day. That was great as I was expecting it to be within a week or so. The serviceman called to let me know he was on his way Tuesday morning and arrived when he said he would. He was very courteous and friendly. He installed the expansion tank without issue and asked to make sure that it looked ok where he installed it and if we were satisfied. Overall, a great experience from this place!

I originally wanted plywood on top of rafters in the attic of our new addition for more storage space. Kenny made a great suggestion how to better utilize space with sturdier construction. Ended up with twice the space I originally would have had they done it my way.and able to put heavier weight on the shelving than my plywood idea would have. He also recommended an attic fan with temp control after noticing I had no circulation up there. Kenny was honest and knowledgeable, gave me the estimate and also came to do the work. A little bit costly but done right the first time. Prompt. Came when expected and finished in 2-3 days. Wonderful, professional, HELPFUL, no worries of having to have it redone due to poor quality work (which I have done plenty of times before) ! Friendly & professional. Will definitely use again.

Replaced all valves on two toilets, replaced wax seal on one toilet. Technician was thorough & personable. "Angie's List Coupon' was not accepted because of other discounts (~30 %) applied to the bill. I am not complaining, but just informing.

When I realized how much it would cost just to have someone show up, I thanked the scheduling coordinàtor and went back to find someone else...

Yes, they responded right away. Yes, they were polite and professional. I choked on the price.

He was very expensive. I would tell someone to go someplace else. They were doing things that didn't need to be done, which concerned me. It was quality work, but one time they brought a part that we did not need.

Went very well as usual. Cable repair man spotted huge water leak under house in crawl space occurring when my wife was draining the washing machine. Called Al Marino Inc. and set up appointment for the following Monday to repair. He found the problem as a faulty connection in the original PCV pipes draining the washing machine above in the laundry room. He refitted the drain pipes with new PCV and checked for leaks. As usual he said to simply call if we noticed ant problems with the work and Al Marino would return promptly to fix at no charge.

He has done plumbing, electrical work, and general handyman work. I found a few workers smoking in the house, which is a no-no. I also found a few tools in the basement missing. Overall though, the work was good. In the beginning, everything was good. They were always here on time, and everything went fine. Then they pulled them off of the job, and put other ones in. At that point, it started going down hill. He came out and looked at what I was complaining about. He did fix the issues, and replaced the items that were missing.

The first week cost $263.84 and the return visit cost $159.00. I was pleased to have a quick response. The repairman was very nice and explained what was going on. He came back the next week and finished up the job. I thought the price on the return was a bit much as there were no new parts.

When my AC suddenly died, it was suggested that I try Al Marino, Inc. As I had no idea whom to call, I decided to ask for an estimate. The man who came to my home, Bill Spencer, arrived promptly and was dressed appropriately. He was pleasant, very thorough, and professionally cordial and it was his demeanor that sold me on using the company. Upon obtaining financing, I called back to schedule the installationwhich was promptly begun. The work was completed in one day and I have not had a problem. My only complaint was that the installing technician entered my home the first time without knocking (a bit unnerving as I was dressing in the bedroom) although we had met outside prior to this. It was an amazingly painless experience.

I attempted to replace a kitchen faucet myself. Ran in to old plumbing and needed a professional. Also had an electrical problem. Called Al Marino, Inc., on a Tuesday(they do plumbing, HVAC, mechanical and electrical). Dispatcher said someone could come on Wednesday and would call between 12:00-4:00. I didn't get a call by 4:00, so initially was a little put off as I had changed my schedule to be here. I called them at 4:10PM and was told the worker was still on another job but should call soon. He did, and he got here when he said he would. The company truck was in excellent condition and the employee, Ken, was dressed professionally. He put on booties before entering our home. He checked out the sink first and I explained what I wanted. He showed me the pricing and it was very reasonable. He then asked about my electrical problem, checked a few things out, then said he'd do the sink work first. I was surprised and pleased that he was going to complete the work at this time. I thought he'd have to look at everything then schedule another day/time to return and complete the work. He had to turn the water off at the meter outside as one of the shut-off valves didn't shut off all the way. He had everything he needed to replace the supply lines and install two new turn-off valves under the sink. He was very efficient and pleasant, too. When finished, Ken showed us what he had done and asked if everything looked okay. He then found the electrical problem in the walk-up attic and a bathroom we're remodeling. He found, in about five minutes, what three different people, supposedly with electrical knowledge, had been unable to find in several hours! He fixed wiring and installed a junction box in the attic and then did the same in the bathroom. He was done with both jobs in under three hours. He shut lights off behind himself, closed the attic stairs, and kept the old plumbing items together in a pile. This employee was a good representative of the company. I asked him about Al Marino and he provided a brief description of the company that Mr. Marino started in 1952, which his son now runs. He also said we could expect a phone call from the senior Mr. Marino himself in the next day or two for follow up. We did get a call and it was pleasant to hear from the founder of the company. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.
