Extremely professional individual. On time and flexible. Clean and affordable. Took the time to diagnose the issues and expalin exactly what the issue were. He offered options and explained each option. Ended his service call by saying "if you have any questions at all, please call." Extremely satisified and will definitley use this company again for my future needs!

He arrived at our house on time and was there for four hours. Very personable, professional and most important - competent. He was also neat. He worked steady the entire time.

This was the first time I used TVC. The lights wouldn't turn on in the kids bathroom. Tim was able to come out the same day and fix the problem in about 5 minutes. He happened to be running late and called to tell me so. Very professional. We don't need electrical work very often, but I would use them again. Tim seems like he'd be good to work with on a larger project.

Project is on going at this time.

It went very well. Tim was honest, hard working and committed to the job. The dining room fixture install was extremely difficult. We live in an old house and he had to capture the electric using a plug from an upstairs bedroom. This required him to lift up a few floor boards and access the downstairs ceiling from the upstairs He also wired this new plug from the basement - it took several hours to get this one fixture in place and I LOVE IT. The other fixtures were simple take the old fixture off and replace. I also had him update a few plugs to GFI. Tim explained everything and talked through what he was going to do. He kept the house clean and was a pleasure to work with. We already have a short list of other projects for him to help us with.

TVC Electric was the second firm I contacted about this job. The first one went on and on about how difficult the job would be, and didn't even give me an estimate. Tim responded quickly when I asked him to give me an estimate, and then completed the job in the time frame he said it would take. Why was this a difficult job? This was a low plastered ceiling, and the three bare bulbs that hang down from the ceiling were each connected to a different electrical source - each one was controlled differently; one by a switch, the other two by on/off chains on different circuits. I asked Tim to change the hanging bulbs to recessed lighting so that people wouldn't risk hitting their heads on them. After looking at it, he warned me that he would need to cut away part of the ceiling around each bulb, and that while he couldn't repair the ceiling, he would make it as neat as possible (I'll be calling in someone else to replaster the ceiling). I didn't care - I just needed it done. Tim did what he said he would... plus he rewired the lights so that they would all turn on via the light switch, re-ran some wires that were tacked to the ceiling to inside where they were no longer visible, and put a code-questionable circuit into a box (apparently a former owner had been a do-it-yourselfer who had undertaken a lot of the electrical work himself). I didn't ask for these things; Tim just did them. Tim and his helper left the room very clean. I will be using TVC Electric for all my future electrical needs.

Tim installed a new timer for my bathroom fan. He did a great job answering all my questions via email and agreed to work around my schedule. He was able to come around 4PM on Friday night which worked great. Thanks again!

Tim and his helper showed up on time and installed the Panasonic bathroom fan that I purchased online in my master bathroom. They did a great job keeping the mess to a minimum and made sure they left everything in great shape. Tim did a great job putting the attic insulation back how it was and even spray foamed around the fan in the attic to prevent air leakage. His pricing was fair based on the other quotes that I received. Thanks again!

Was a little pricey but the work was done quickly and you couldn't tell he was here when finished. Tim was very polite and prompt in his responses. Would recommend him in the future.

JOB WENT AS GOOD AS EXPECTED - CONSIDERING THE MESS AND THE TIMING WITH MOTHER NATURE. THERE WAS ONE SET BACK WHEN THE TRENCHER CUT THROUGH THE PIPE GOING FROM MY MOUND PUMP TO MY MOUND. KNOWING APPROX. WHERE THIS WAS AND HOW DEEP IT WAS WAS HARD TO PREDICT. TIM WAS QUICK TO GET A PLUMBER TO THE HOUSE AND FIX THE PROBLEM. AFTER ALL WAS FIXED AND CLEANED UP, EVERYTHING LOOKED AND WORKED GREAT.

Ryan returned my call and came to my house to assess my needs. He gave me a thorough explaination of how he would repair the problem and what I would need to do before he came back to do the job. I received a high/low estimate for any unseen problems that might occur and the high quote was close to what I expected to pay anyway so, I agreed. Ryan returned in a couple of days with his assistant and they completed the job in about 2 hours with no problems! I was charged the lower quote which made me happy! They were efficient, quick, pleasant and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again in the future!

Tim was amazing. We have an admittedly old and stubborn home from 1922. Adding 3 outlets in these walls was no easy task! He also added GFI breakers for the rest of our home since grounding every outlet would be near impossible. He was on time, on budget and did an incredibly clean job. After he did everything, you couldn't tell that he was there - not a spec of dust was left. I would HIGHLY recommend TVC electric.

My wife and I bought our 1969 home in 2010 and have been in some state of remodeling every since. Tim has been with us the entire time providing our electrical needs. After him installing outlets and exhaust fan for the main bathroom along with outlets and dish washer for our kitchen remodel the main electrical needed to be replaced. Along with that came electrical updating from years of electrical "jury rigging" to bring our home up to code. Tim split that into two projects (1) bring our home to code; $650.00 and (2) new electrical service $1400.00. On both jobs, Tim and his helper arrived timely and took care of business. He cleans up after the project. They takes extreme care not to damage anything. What more can anyone ask for. We have one more electrical project and our home will be done. Tim will be doing that job as well.

Tim seems like a very knowledgeable guy (has about 25 years of experience in the industry). Very friendly and personable, the kind of guy that does the job right the first time.

Tim was very punctual and thorough. He may not be the cheapest out there, but do you really want to go with the cheapest when it comes to electricity?? I don't. I want to know my house isn't going to burn down. I want to know that no one's going to get shocked/hurt. He was very respectful to my landscaping. Even though he had to tear it up, he put everything back really nicely. The lawn was restored to as good as could be expected shape after having a small trench dug through it. I was very pleased with his service and I would definitely use him again!

This was my first time hiring an electrician for anything major, and I couldn't have been more satisfied. Tim and his crew did an amazing job! They completed the work quickly, explained everything on both sides of the work, kept in touch with me as they found issues, and cleaned up after themselves. The bar has now been set very high and I am grateful for such a positive experience.

Because of an issue with my circuit breaker and no electricity to the garage or foyer I had to find an electrician. I haven't had an immediate need for one so wasn't sure where to start. Went to Angie's list to look for a local electrician... keeping my dollars local is important to me. I found TVC Electical and called. Tim answered the phone and asked a few quesitons. He asked me to try a couple of things before he came out to be sure that there was a need for a professional. I VERY much appreciated that!! The things we tried didn't fix the issue so Tim said he would come out at the end of my work day to accommodate my schedule. He arrive shortly after 5:00 and explained everything he was doing along the way, showing me what was faulty or not working and why. We discussed how to temporarily take care of the problem until spring comes and there is dry ground to work with. I will definitely be calling him back this Spring and would recommend TVC Electric to anyone! Thanks Tim!

Did everything he could and was very efficient. He continued to look after me even after the problem was to determined to be a power company issue. Excellent customer service.

I called Tim the afternoon prior to him coming to our house to schedule an appointment and identify the problem. He identified some common solutions over the phone that I (the homeowner) might be able to perform in order to correct the problem on my own before he made the trip out to our house, which actually corrected half of our problem!! I thought this was nice of Tim, and made it clear that he was not in the business of trying to make a quick buck off of people with simple fixes. When Tim arrived at the house he immediately handed my wife his card and identified himself in a friendly manner. He worked efficiently and completed the fix, which ended up being a loose wire behind one of the outlets-throwing off the whole circuit, in under a hour. I felt his price was very fair and would definitely use him again for future electrical service.

Tim responded promptly and spent a fair amount of time here working up the estimate - which involved walking through the attic to determine how best to do the work. We decided to defer a couple of projects until we have other non-electrical work done so that the electrical work can be done more efficiently. I appreciate that he would rather do the job later (at less cost to us) than just getting the work done now. I felt like he was really looking out for our best interest.

Overall the install went very well. I reached out to Tim to set-up time to review the project and get a quote. The work was quoted within a week of the visit and time was quickly scheduled to do the project. Tim and his assistant arrived on-time on the day of the appointment and completed the work in a couple hours. The quality of the work was very good and the system functioned perfectly after the install. Tim hadn't worked with this particular transfer switch before but had no issues getting it sorted out. The final cost of the work was spot-on with the quote.

Tim explained to us the problem. He was flexible and reliable with times for appointments and fixed the problem.

I am going to say Tim does good work. We got an estimate from Tim in the later part of July or the beginning of August. He performed the work in the middle of September. I would use Tim again and would recommend his services. With that being said, I would also have an completion date. He has other commitments and will put you off until he can fit you his schedule.
