Roman Electric Co Inc

Roman Electric started work on April 17 - 27th. Started at 7:30am to 3:30 pm, workers ( Adam and Jason) showup on time every day Work with very little down time. Work went as expected ,not to many problems I open the attic floor and basement ceiling before they arrive, giving easly axcess to electrical drops to the 2nd floor/1st floor. Made holes in walls/ceiling only if it was nessary. Adam and Jason were Very proffessional and fun to have around. It was too bad they finished the job on time, It was very good experience.

Poorly. 1. The electrician arrived approximately half an hour late. I had a made a specific point about having the service man coming out early and on time as I had to take time off of work. 2. Once he arrived he was very courteous and professional. . However he wanted me to commit to a $236 dollar fee for single circuit diagnosis and another $56 fee for diagnosis. In other words, he wanted me to commit to a $295 dollar fee before he began any work and what might turn out to be a five minute job. At this point I escorted him out of my house. This fee structure could have been provided over the phone. It would have saved everybody the time and aggravation.

They were a little pricey, but it was a complicated job. They gave us a price upfront. That price was $1,900.00. After they were done, it was only $1,720.00. They rewired the entire house through the kitchen. They ran lines downstairs so that I could have lighting on a switch. They cleaned up after themselves. We had a little issue with one of the boxes and they came out and fixed it. It was a 90 day guarantee and you can buy a service plan with the work. The wiring works great.

They were very good. They explained everything and educated you, and the work was fine. The quality was fine. The price was good.

Anthony came to our house on March 6th, he provided a complete proposal for the work and emailed it to me later that day. That same day I called Anthony and told him I accepted his proposal and to schedule the work. His guy called me the next day and scheduled the work for March 9th. Derek showed up on time at 7:30am , and did a great job an a fairly difficult project. He worked steadily to finish the work, cleaned up after himself. He left around 6pm with a well don completed project as proposed by Anthony at the originally agreed price. Great job done!

This was a Sunday and he came out with in 1 hour, what great service. We will be using Roman in the nesr future for a couple of projects.

.They are prompt, professional, courteous, and reasonalbe priced.

I have had them out here many times and I give them an A on everything. I will use them again in the future.

Anthony, the estimator, came out shortly after I called. He was on time, gave us price, and e-mailed a written copy by the end of the day. The work was scheduled promptly, and electrician arrived on time. He was very pleasant, professional, and went to work right away. The work was done in 2 days. After I paid, I wanted the motion light installed. That experience was the same. The arrived on time and were professional, efficient, and polite. I have a great experience all the way around.

Everything went very well. I called Roman Electric at around 8:30 AM on Friday, 10/14, to schedule replacement of some light fixtures in my condominium. I was told that someone was available and in the area that day and could probably be at my place within an hour. The electrician arrived, he explained the charges for installation of new fixtures, showed me the costs on a chart and we discussed how low I wanted the fixtures to hang, etc. He installed them exactly as I had requested. I was very happy and completely satisfied with the service provided by Roman Electric. I also thought the charge was reasonable for the service provided. I am requesting an estimate from the company on additional electrical work I want to have done in my kitchen. I would highly recommend their work.

The technician Jason G. got there at 8 0'clock on the dot as promised. his job was to replace the old circuit breaker box, the electrical meter outside the house, add two new independent circuits , one for our microwave and one for the dehumidifier in the basement. we had a problem with the electricity in the kitchen, family room , and dining room all going out every time the microwave started or if we had the dehumidifier on. It had become extremely irre tating as it seemed like we were running in the basement 20 times a day to flip back the circuit breakers. Jason worked non stop ( no breaks no lunch) from 8 to a little about 6, I mean really talk about a work ethic! when he was all done he went thru the whole house to make sure all the lights and outlets worked, they did. Now i can run my wash machine, dryer dehumidifier and microwave all at once when necessary.... THANK YOU JASON!!! I did feel the price was a little high, just a little because he did do a lot of work inside and out. I paid $1800.10 and was hoping to get it for $1500.00 as I will be laid off from work in October. Well i didn't get the price I wanted but the work was great... so far ! if you see no more reviews from me for Roman Electric, know that if you need electrical work done feel very good about calling them (maybe you can diplomatically talk the price down a bit.) By the way they also gave me a discount for being a member of Angies List. One last thing i have to mention is the sales person that came out to my home for Roman Electric,Gary Mirenda was very friendly and very helpful . Once again i give them an A for work and a B for price.

I called for service on Friday July 1, explained what I wanted done and that I could be home July 5,6,7 and 8. As of Wednesday afternoon July 6th, I had not heard back from Roman Electric so I called again requesting service. The Technician showed up the next morning, July 7th, unannounced. My complaint, and I conveyed this to Roman Electric, was that no one ever returned my call. On the positive side, once the Technician was here, he was courteous, professional and completed all the work to my satisfaction.

I would highly recommend Roman Electric. They did a great job. They were prompt and got the work done in a day, even though they had to coordinate it with the electric company. They were really good at working side by side with the electric company to get the job done.

My comments above tell exactly how I feel about the firm and their employees. Top rated in my opinion.

They are superb and I have been using them for the last five years. They are always very punctual and very responsive. They provide very good quality of service and if there is any problem they are always come right away to fix it. They are very concerned about the quality of service and I have always been very pleased with them.

I've used them for several years. I've never had any problems with them.

I like them very much for their reliability and quality of work. They clean up after their work. They don t leave anything messy. They are very responsive to elderly people s request. I have had them for many years. I never had any problems.

I called on a Monday to schedule an electrician visit to install two overhead fixtures and eight outdoor path lights. I was told that an electrician was available that Thursday morning. I scheduled the appointment. The electrician was supposed to call me when he was on his way to my house. On Thursday morning, I called twice to see why I had not heard from the electrician and was assured that he would call. On Thursday afternoon, I called to ask where the electrician was. I was asked to speak with the scheduler. I left a message for her to call me to let me know if I should expect an electrician in the afternoon, or on Friday morning. I never heard back. I called twice more on Thursday afternoon, and again was asked to leave a message. Friday morning, I called again and left two more messages. Finally, I called and told them to forget it. I will not be calling them again.

Called Roman Electric; they showed up the next day, made the repairs and left. Quick and easy. I've called Roman electric several times before joining Angie's List for jobs ranging between $150 and $2500. Overall I'm very satisfied with the service I received; The ratings in this review reflect my overall experience so far.

They replaced it with a temporary wire. They left the job with very unsafe conditions and when the inspector came out, he was not happy. If the problem wasn't being fixed the next day, he would have turned off the electricity. The inspector did say he was surprised because this company generally does good work.

There was a little down time and the guy installed two extra sockets for me. They come out and fix it if anything is broken. The guy we had come out was a very good worker and very professional. You get a lot for what you pay for. They are totally reliable.

It was a fine experience. The electricians they sent out were friendly and checked multiple things to make sure it wasn't a more serious problem. They checked the fixture and found that it was a simple job to fix.

It was a really bad experience. They didn't install the service correctly and then it didn't pass inspection, then I couldn't close on the home. It's small, not right, and they have to come out again.
