Didn't bother working with a company like this.

A friend recommended this company. We called and they were there the next day at the exact time. We had two ceiling lights to replace - one a hanging fixture over the table and one flush with ceiling. It took an hour to do something that would have taken us all day and a lot of stress, so definitely worth the price. Customer service is important to us and we liked the professionalism from our initial call to make an appointment; also the "straightforward pricing" so we knew exactly what it would cost with no surprises. Doug was prompt, friendly and professional. We would definitely request him again if we need other services.

It went fine. We thought it was just the light fixture. So she replaced the fixture.. She informed me of the cost before going forward. which was $180. It didn't work. So she called me & told me she had to do a diagnosis. I said fine, This is where she didn't let me know the cost of the diagnosis. She called me afterwards & said she was done. I said wow. cool She gave me the price & I said why was is so expensive. She said it was the diagnosis fee of $279. I said okay. Otherwise, I was happy with the work, She did fix 2 other problems . I would recommend them.

They said that they would get back to us and didn't follow-up for our business. I called them, and left a message to come out, give us a review on our 67 unit condo association for repair work, and look at some modification to be done to the associations property. We need to add some more outside lighting. I left a message for them to call me back and they never called back.

Very professional and prompt. Provided cost of work prior to performing. Provided free inspection and recommendations regarding other electrical concerns. Will definitely use them for future work needed.

I was having 2 trees removed and a new tree planted in my back yard. Due to miscommunication with the tree planter, I found myself having to find an electrician to locate an underground power line from my house to my garage (approximately 25 ft) on the day the tree was being planted. The electrician I normally use was not available on such short notice. I checked Angies List and called Roman Electric. They said someone could come out and that the technician would go over the price when he got here a few hours later. He actually arrived a little earlier than expected so I was pleased with that. When he told me the price would be $426, I was rather dismayed, but it was short notice, it was something that needed to be done, and I had already waited a few hours for him, so I told him to go ahead with it. This is where the problem was. I owned the house when the power line was put in and know approximately where the trench was dug. It is on a diagonal from the back of the house to the front of the garage. However, the technician did not believe me when I told him where to look. He insisted that the line extended out from the garage at least 10 feet, then made a 90 degree turn toward the house and then another 90 degree turn and a 15 foot run to where it hooks into the house. He would not listen when I told him I knew that was impossible. So, I paid $426 ($367 + $59 trip charge) basically for nothing.

They did a lot of work, and are very responsive. They're a very excellent company.

Having a tree fall on your roof knocking out the electricity to your home on Christmas Eve at 3am with your parents in-laws and two toddlers in the house was not a fun experience this past week! I do feel lucky I was connected with Roman Electric Co to due the repairs. My standard procedure whenever I need any emergency professional services are to hop on Angie's List, filter to the top 5, call them in order and whoever can come out first gets the job (I normally like to compare price, but since my house was around 58 degrees with no heat and my sump crocks filling up, no time for that!) Roman had an off hour answering service versus the voicemails I left for other companys. I talked to the operator, gave my situation and contact info and received a call from the electrician less than an hour later saying he was headed to another job that should take ~2 hours and I was next on his list if I still needed him. I said unless I hear back from someone else that could come out sooner, said yes, I'll take it. He called back to confirm at around 615am and since I hadn't heard from anyone else, I said I'd take it. Ed showed up around 0700, assessed the situation, determined he needed to go and get some wiring, came back with Tyler and were done by around noon. They were very professional and were happy to answer the many questions I had about my electrical service. Due to the cost of the project, I was offered their year long membership/benefit plan free/discounted of cost. I also utilized the $35 Angie's List discount. I was also happy that the price of the job was shown to me on a previously determined laminated pricing sheet versus some guy standing in front of me making up numbers on the fly. They walked through my home and answered all current electrical issue questions and also questions about future work we were thinking about being done. I was happy they were able to come out so quickly on short notice with thousands of others in the area out of electrical service due to the storm. Any future electrical needs of mine (hopefully no emergencies!), Roman will have a leg up on the competition based on this positive experience.

We called Angies List and our call was supposedly forwarded to Roman but we waited for the requested 20 minutes twice after making a second call and never got a response. Very disappointing after reading some of the reviews. There were a few bad ones also.

He ended up having all kinds of extra time left over and he charged me 500 dollars. I objected. They were going to go to collections. They were just jerks about it.

They were prompt, thorough, clean and professional. They worked about 4 hours. They had to do a lot to get our house back up to code.

He was very efficient and the price was reasonable.

They are good. They are expensive though, but we are happy.

everything went very smooth. I have only good things to report about the two gentleman that did the work. I was not in he best mood and they handled it very professionally !, lol. Very polite men. My biggest complaint is being charged 124 dollars for a 60 dollar permit!

We were so impressed with the careful and thorough attention given to this complicated job. Our older home badly needed this attention. It was a three day job involving work inside and outside with very cold weather. The two workers were highly skilled, courteous, hard working, responsible about cleaning up, and clear in explaining all we needed to know about the system's new features.

We have had flooding several times in our finished lower level due to power outages and the sump pump failing. I always worried when there was a storm - especially when we were not home. I got an estimate from Roman Electric on a whole house gas generator and it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be. The whole process took 1 day. The 2 guys that did the work were incredibly knowledgeable and efficient. I now have peace of mind. I would highly recommend them. Our house is an all electric house - no gas. We did have to work with WE Energies to run a gas line to the house. WE Energies was great! I thought it would cost a lot to run the line but it was actually about $75.00. There was another company that Roma Electric contracted with to run the gas line through the house. They were also fabulous and left additional lines in teh house if we wanted to convert some other appliances to gas in the future - range, dryer, water heater, etc. The whole experience was great!

The quality of their electrical work itself was good. The hole that they cut in the ceiling was not very good, but they are not carpenters; they are electricians. The hole they cut was a little larger than the vent and we had to patch it in, but the vent and all the electrical work was fine. Their price was a bit higher. They come in, they know what they are doing, and they are professional. I never had an issue with the quality of their work.

The repairman was very polite, helped me decide on the number of outlets to install in the basement, and even sent a handwritten thank you note.

Company quoted me a ridiculous amount to swap out my fixtures. Paid the travel charge and refused to have them do the work.

Presented with a complex wiring situation, along with antique switches, the electrician was very creative in outlining the options available to me; detailed the cost of each, and recommended future actions. I appreciated his professionalism, and his thinking outside the lines.

Very good. Repair man was on time and finished the job in a timely fashion.

Chris did a terrific, professional job!

I sent an e-mail w/picture to the company detailing what I wanted done. They contacted me within 15 minutes. They had someone at the house within 90 minutes. The electrician, Chris, looked over my problem and explained what could be done to remedy this situation. I already had a separate circuit w/line and was just hoping to have a 220 dryer outlet installed. Chris explained to me this would not be a good idea because the line that was there was not up to code. This makes sense this because this house was built in 1947. Chris ran a new line from the panel through the attic down to the laundry room and installed a new dryer outlet and plate.. This was no easy task because my place has no basement and he had to crawl around the attic to run all the wires. There is not much room up there. After completing the installation he inspected my breaker box and found a few that were not correct for my panel and replaced the breakers. Chris was very professional and took the time to explain everything clearly. If I need more work done, which I do, I hope Chris is available to do the work.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the crew. The work was done promptly; they explained everything that needed to be done. Chris also explained why we were having problems.; explained that we will need to replace the entire system in the future.

great, they even changed the battery in 1 smoke detector that was dead, and did a free check of my lamp post outside that doesn't work and offer advise on how to replace it.
