We started searching Angie's list with several parameters. Nearby, less than 10 miles local company. Small company, don't want to be small fish in a big pond. Mainly did medium to small houses. "A" ratings. Easy to deal with, have had experience with remodeler that did good work but treated me/us like we were idiots! Rob's will do a tear off, re roof with architectural shingles, new front gutter, and all details completely spelled out in their quote. The job is scheduled for mid to late July. Will report again on how it went. I did not state their price/quote because I/we don't shop price, they were higher than other quote and we decided they were worth the difference.

The roofing part of the job was excellent. Crew arrived early in the morning and the roofing was done quickly and professionally. Clean up was thorough and we were pleased with the roofing part of the job. Gutter work was scheduled for the day following the roofing work. We waited through the day and no one came nor did any one call to let us know the work would be delayed. A small crew finally came about 4:30 P.M., just before dark. They discovered some parts were not here for the gutters. Someone went to get some, leaving the rest of the crew sitting in vehicles, waiting. The gutter straps were not placed when the shingles were put on, so shingles had to be lifted in several places to add the straps. One downspout was placed to direct it's flow toward the house next door. After a call to the company, that problem was fixed quickly. The gutter straps are not what we had been shown when we contracted for the work. After a call to the company questioning the different gutter straps, we were told that they had to use a different strap because of the design of our house and gutters. We were never informed of the need for the change prior to the work being done. During the winter, the gutters bent down from ice, and did NOT rebound back when the ice was removed, as we were told they would. The shingles that were lifted for gutter strap placement are still very raised after more than 6 months. Some seem to have lifted more from the wind. If we had been given an option for the gutter work, we would have preferred to postpone it to another day so it could have been done in daylight. Much of the metal stripping by the front porch roof was left jagged and sharp. That was fixed partially after a call to the company, but it still looks very unprofessional. Would not recommend this company for gutter/metal work, but the roofing work was good. We were also pleased that they put a chimney cap up for us at no charge.

They sent a field worker to my house to walk through the job with me, they were prompt and gave me an estimate via email the next day. Price was a little higher than I was looking to spend, but I felt confident that they really knew what they were doing. Good overall experience with them.

I thought they were very good. Good customer service. They did a nice job. I don't have any leaks.

Rob came to our home within a day of our first call and gave us a very complete estimate. As soon as weather permitted he had his crew working on our roof. In just over two days, they removed all the old material and replaced it with attractive new shingles. They did a great job of cleaning up each day after they finished and when the whole job was completed. They were also quick to answer our questions. My husband and I were very impressed by the professionalism of this company and by the quality of their work. We have already recommended them to friends and family and would do so again.

GREAT estimating service, looked at an area that the previous contractor hadn't done a good job on, and where that contractor said it was leaking, that we didn't think was leaking. Came back and did the job hired for just fine. Approx 6 months later when we wanted them back to work on another area. Rob's Roofing contacted us and they were not able to come out when we originally wanted them to. They were able to come out recently (10/29) and fix the area we wanted fixed and did a great job.

They did a great job! When they found some rotten boards near the fireplace chimney and repaired the damage at no additional cost to us. Cleaned up well afterwords, too.

He took pictures. I called him and he said he had left estimate in my mailbox. I told him I did not have it, and it was in my mailbox by the second time I talked to him. He was really nice. He also called me about estimate.

No estimate was ever given, so no work was done.

They haven't done the work yet. There haven't been any negatives so far. Even when there's a weather delay, he contacts me. I trust him to be responsive.

I called Bo in the afternoon about a loose chimney cap that had been making noise when it was windy out. He offered to stop by that night to take a look. I was surprised because other companies I called didn't want to deal with small repair jobs. When Bo arrived he took some pictures and went up on the roof to take a look. He knocked on the door 15 minutes later and had pictures of the repair already completed. I asked what the charge would be and he said no charge. I'll be keeping Rob's Roofing number handy for any future roofing work I need.

Their workmanship was great, and dealing with them at the job site was excellent. They cleaned up really well, and I was happy with their work. However, their follow-up after the work was lacking. I sent them a payment for around 95% of the work, with a note attached with a few items I would like to speak with them about, including some warranty paperwork I needed and a tricky downspout I would like for them to check out. They have called on two occasions, but have not actually done anything about them. Their price was the best of the providers I received, but I would have liked a better response from them afterward.

They did an excellent job and were very knowledgeable. They were prompt at responding and overall they were good.

Great company. We were having a leak and needed to do something. Had four estimates and all confirmed that we will need a new roof in the next 5 years so might as well do it all vs just fix the leak. The other three companies were $5900 for just the house. Rob's Roofing was $3900 for the exact same thing. Same materials and brands and warranty. Bo was very responsive to all my calls and even came back when my husband was home so that he could go over it all with him. He was willing to look at the other estimates and make sure that they were providing all the same things. We had GAF/ELK shingles installed with a 20 year warranty from the manufacturer. The same thing that the others were offering for $2000 more! They completed the work all in one day and did a great job. Everyone was very friendly. They covered and moved everything to insure nothing was broken or damaged. Also we did not have to put down a deposit or anything. We were billed about two weeks after the job was completed. They may not have all the folders with their names on it and a big fancy website with bells and whistles but they get the job done for alot less and do great work!

Bo was very responsive to my call with a call back. He visited the house and provided the estimate the same day. Because of his responsiveness on this small job, as well as the great ratings on Angie's list, he got the job. He arrived as promised and completed the job in a neat and timely manner. He also offered suggestions on things for me to keep an eye on in the future. Overall, Bo and Rob's Roofing were very professional and I would definitely use them again.

Rob's estimate was in line with most of the others we got. His was one of the few companies willing to undertake the apparently unusual insulation that had been recommended by a Focus on Energy inspector. Originally they expected to start the job early in October, but as it turned out they were unable to get to it till November. We were a little concerned about doing the work so late in the year (would the adhesives work at the lower temperatures?), but were reassured by outside info Rob provided and by his labor warranty. The work went amazingly fast, taking I think right 4 or 5 days to complete. They tore off the shakes and two layers of asphalt shingles. Everything (especially the driveway) was cleaned up every night, and we have found very few scraps since they finished. They put the dumpster in the street so we always had access the driveway in the evenings. The roofers were pleasant, on time, and hardworking. After the work was finished, we twice had very small leaks from the frame of the skylight. Both times, someone came out promptly (same or next day), inspected and resealed. So far, so good.

I am very displeased because the three guys that I called from Angie's List, the first guy set an appointment and didn't show up and the other two didn't call back. I had called for a roofer and made an appointment for Friday at 5 o'clock. I rushed home from work and there was a phone call at my house saying he wasn't sure if it was at 5 o'clock or 8 o'clock. He didn't do what he was supposed to.

They started earlier than the estimated lead time and the job was finished in one day as promised. It rained on the originally scheduled work day but the dumpster and shingles were delivered and the crew supervisor said that would be back the next day (Saturday) to do the work. They put the shingles on the roof before they left. They showed up at 9:00 am and completed the job. They did a good job cleaning up and the dumpster was picked up on Monday as promised.

The salesman was excellent. Nichols was really responsive and went all out.

I called to request an evaluation and estimate for my roof. I was under a time line. Because of this they came out on a Saturday to do the estimate.

I have found that there are not many companies that do roof leak repair, but Bo was very willing to solve my problem. He explained what he thought might be causing the leak and also offered to water seal my chimney to add extra protection to avoid any more leaks. He was very honest in telling me that I could purchase the water seal myself to save some money and do it myself or have someone do it for me but I was so confident with him I chose to have his crew do this for me. One of his crew explained exactly what the problem was and spent time letting me know what they had done to resolve this issue. I felt very confident with his knowledge and there was no debris that was left.

Bo came out and checked in the attic and took pictures (he arrived within 1 day of my calling). Bo went on the roof and watered the area in question with a hose and found the leak was coming from under the flashing at the high point and going down the roof line along the chimney. The leak resulted in severe damage to the drywall in the family room. An estimate of cost was given and specific dates for repair were offered. A contract was sent within a day or two.

They did a very professional job, from start to finish. My wife and I are very happy with everything they did. Our new roof looks amazing, the best on the block. I would recommend Rob's Roofing to anyone. From start to finish, they made the process of getting a new roof easy, worry free, and at a great price. Bravo!

Bo came out as promised to take measurements. It took several calls, however, to actually get the estimate in our hands. When we finally received it, the price was very reasonable (significantly lower than the other estimates). We had some extra repair work that needed to be done in conjunction with the roof and asked for an additional estimate for that work. Again, we did not receive a prompt response and therefore, chose to go with another company. Bo was professional and a nice guy, however, he did not seem to be very organized or very interested in our business.
