Mike Ingrilli Plumbing

This was the second time I used their services. The kitchen faucet and shut off valves needed replacement. The technician was prompt and courteous. The total price was less than estimate. This is the plumber service that I will continue to use in the future.

Job was well done. Arrived early, was very clean and neat, finished the job and explained what was being done. Very polite and professional.

Called and got an appointment very fast. Kurt showed up exactly within the time frame given. Super polite and professional. He got to work immediately and replaced the sump pump and cleaned out the sewer pipe thing. He brought my husband down to show the work he did and explained that some animal had died in the sump's discharge pipe and had been there so long that it had turned to goo. YUCK!!!!! Everything was cleaned up and done very quickly. I can't say enough about how great this company is.

Had bathroom floor replaced which meant removing the toilet. At re-install, I was told the bolts were too rusted to tighten adequately. Kurt had to hunt to find matching bolts (very old off brand toilet), but the job is done-no leaks. Also replaced flapper in second bathroom toilet that was doing a once-a-day slow leak. Not sure that is the correct fix-it still turns on once a day. But the flapper was obviously worn so it would have needed replacement eventually.

We were very satisfied with the service. He showed up on time and charged a fair price for high quality work.

anThis work was done at a duplex rental. My tenant works and goes to school so arranging a time for the plumber to do his job that worked for the tenant needed the plumber to coordinate his schedule with the tenant. He made my tenant aware that certain hours he would have to charge overtime and found a time that worked with the tenant when he did not have to charge overtime. I appreciated that. He got the job done as soon as he could get to it. He is always professional and calls to keep me posted on what needs approval. I have used Mike Ingrilli Plumbing before and will use them again. Mike Ingrilli Plumbing is my first go to plumber. Thak you Mike for have an excellent office staff.

He was superb to work with. We were impressed with Mike's quality, integrity and wonderful personality.

My disposal had a penny in it and he spend about an hour trying to get the penny out. He quoted me for a new disposal, but I declined. He also did work on our 2nd floor kitchen faucet. He took a total of 2 hours with the upstairs faucet replacing pipes. Other than that it was good service. I did have one issue with paying with a credit card and giving my information to the plumber. I called the business office and asked why they took all of my numbers on a piece of paper. I thought it was bad business practice to take all my credit card information.They did not use any type of machine. It may of been a coicedence, but the next day my credit card company called and told me there were fraud transactions and that I had to cancel the card. They called me several days later and stated that they could not process my payment and they needed a new credit card number over the phone. I went ahead and mailed in a check and did not get double billed. I think they are an honest company, but I would not give my credit card again unless they had a credit card scanner on site. Also, the quote did seem high to me with the work that was done. The quote seemed a little misleading. They gave me their hourly rate and I asked about trip charges. They quoted $145 for the first hour and a different hourly rate for time after that. When I called them over the phone they stated the hourly rate without letting me about the first hour being higher. I was also billed for a tool maiteance charge. I feel a little blind sited by the office information. They didn't give me good quote information.

The first team they sent were not the most friendly. It was an older guy, who barely said two words to me, and a young man. The older man, I assume the "master plumber" seemed like he wanted to do the minimum to fix the clog. He only used the access closest to the outside. After they worked on the pipe, it again clogged a few weeks later. They they sent another team. They were fantastic. Friendly, professional. He used both accesses, seemed to find the problem. Haven't had trouble since. They cleaned up will and did a good job. I did have some billing problems which the secretary didn't get back to me on. Later I found out it was an issue in office and it had been taken care of. But I had to call more than once to get that information. Mike then called me himself and apologized, which I greatly appreciated. All in all it was a good experience and I would use them again.

They were respectful, they were professional, they were certainly on time, one slight issue is they didn't have all the right person had to come back another day. They were real great about that and they are like we will take care of it, don't worry. They are going to send me a quote on another project that we are talking about. They are very easy to work with. They are very prompt in response. I was real happy with them. I would say they are little high on the price. I asked him a lot of questions about unrelated things and they were more than happy to answer questions but other plumbing issues. I would use them again.

I have used Mike Ingrilli several times and have never been disappointed. All of the employees are pleasant. They are hard working, and clean up nicely when the work is done. On top of all that, Mike is an extremely honest guy who will offer options that could save you money and he will recommend against doing work that he feels is unnecessary.

On time, efficient, and very professional. The kitchen faucet's set screw gave a little trouble, but was fine in the end. I'm usually game to try fixing things around the house, and I was going to try to replace this cartridge myself, but ran into trouble with the shut-off valves under the sink. That problem was fixed, and after seeing how much he went through to replace the cartridge, I'm glad I called a plumber! After fixing the kitchen problem, my really *old* basement laundry tub faucets got fixed and the eternal dripping has finally stopped. Mike and his crew were there on time -- in fact, a little EARLY! -- and were polite and efficient, and didn't mind me watching while they worked. I would definitely consider using them again.

I will say that it seems they had an employee problem. But they recognized it and took care of it and my situation got caught up in the employee problem. BUT, I'm more than pleased with how Mike Ingrilli has handled the situation and made things right. Kurt was an absolute DREAM today and knew what he was doing and got it done quick. He is a such gentleman and true professional. I would certainly recommend Mike Ingrilli plumbing, you can tell SO much about a company when things don't go exactly as they should. They stepped up, made it right and went above and beyond. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

My water heater stopped working on a weekend in January. I emailed Mike on a Sunday night to see if we could set up an appointment for the next day. He responded to my email in less than half an hour. In our email exchange, he obtained the unit's serial number, etc, and had a plumber, Kurt, at our house the next morning. Kurt looked at the water heater, and found a worn out thermocouple. Kurt explained why the water heater wasn't working, and quickly fixed it. Kurt was very polite, and left the basement clean.

They were punctual, (within an hour of estimated arrival time) for both the estimate and the installation. Work was performed in a professional, efficient manner.

I called for an estimate for a leaking tub faucet – I spoke to the woman who answered the phone and asked what the charge would be as I figured this was a straightforward repair. She told me that they would come out and give me an estimate. I told her that an estimate shouldn’t be necessary for such a simple task – I was looking to know ahead of time what this repair was going to cost. She refused to give me any estimates, but did offer to make an appointment. Based on the Angie’s list rating I made the appointment. I took the morning off from work as I expected them by 8:00AM. When no one had arrived or called by around 9, I called the office and asked if they were still coming. The same woman told me that someone would call me back, about 10 minutes later a man named Josh called, very apologetic, telling me that they had an emergency, that if I still wanted someone to come he would be there within 45 minutes, and that they would credit me 30 minutes of work time. I agreed, and a plumber was here within an hour. He said that it was a waste of time to do an estimate, he had the part in his truck, however, he had no idea what it cost or what his time cost. He replaced the defective piece and was out of the house in 30 minutes. I asked him what they 1 ½ hour charge I was signing for was and he said that it was drive time. I told him that no one mentioned drive time to me and he shrugged. When the bill came I found that I had been charged for $145/hour, $55 for labor after the first half hour and $80 for materials, total, with tax, $294.28. I called for an explanation, and spoke again to Josh, who told me that there was a set charge of $145/hour to come out, no break down for partial hours. He forgot that he had told me that he would forgive the 30 minute charge, but could not explain to me why their firm pricing information was not presented up front when I called. He was full of irrelevant information: that his in-laws lived in my condo complex, that the plumber had been fired, etc. I told him to send an amended bill, which they did, forgiving the $55 for the 30 minutes as promised. I sent a letter back stating my frustration that I felt that I had been deceived by the woman who had answered the phone, and not heard when I called to complain. I have no problem paying for quality work. I feel that there was either incompetence or dishonesty in my initial contact with their office and that Josh did not listen to what I tried to complain about, but sought to diffuse my concern with irrelevant chatter. Again, no complaint with the plumbing – my complaint is with the office and not being told up front that they had set charges that would include drive time. Since they have a PO box and I did not have their address I might have chosen a plumber closer to home.

It went great. Eveyrthing is working well. He was very personable and a good communicator. He explained things to me very well and cleaned up after himself.

Kurt arrived on time, and I was impressed that he immediately put down a dropcloth to keep the work area clean. He worked thoroughly and methodically taking time to explain things to me. I felt that he took his time with the drain cleaning and he wanted to finish that job completely. Kurt was very pleasant and knowledgeable and surpassed my expectations of how the drains would work after cleaning.

I had an emergency with a leaking shower valve. I was able to shut off the water to the house so that it would not ruin the bathroom. I called Ingrilli's and they had someone come out within a few hours. He got there at 3:45 and told me that at 4:00 it would be overtime. He offered to install some shutoff valves so we could get the water back on in the house and come back the next day. I told him to go ahead. It took him a little under an hour to do the repairs. He installed two shut off valves and a new shower control. I think that there was a 100% mark-up on the shower control, but it is a Delta, so at least it is a good product. I did have one issue with the bill that Mike promptly corrected. I have recommended Mike to my relatives in Tosa, and they have always been pleased. I will use him again.

Overall, very positive. Curt arrived on time. He explained what he was going to do before he started taking things apart. Found the leak in our second floor tub that was dripping down to our kitchen and was able to fix it quickly and professionally. No surprises and the rates were reasonable.

Mike arrived on time and was professional. He answered all my questions. He took apart the sink and hauled it out. Then he replaced it with a new sink. He was very thorough about cleaning up the entire area where the sink and been leaking. It looked very neat and clean after the job was complete. He also soldered a bad pipe fitting that connected to the sink. It had been leaking there in addition to the crack in the sink basin. I did not get multiple estimates on this job, so I can't be certain how the price compares to other plumbers. The price was higher than I expected it to be, but I don't have a lot of experience hiring plumbers for this type of job. We would use him again.

We woke up on Christmas Eve morning at 530 am with water spraying out of the top of our water heater and many things in our basement soaking wet. With a house full of guests, the holiday, and more guests arriving later that day, we were in a panic. We had used this company previously for faucet replacements and were pleased so we phoned them. They were absolutely fantastic! They responded rapidly, discussed our options with us and had a new water heater installed within several hours. The guys were friendly and knowledgeable. And they even repaired a leaking kitchen faucet while they were there. They will be the only plumbing service I will use in the future. They are a wonderful company.

It was great .No surprises.
