They had a good variety of flooring to choose from and the installer was outstanding. My only complaint is that the salesman gave me an estimate off of a professional drawing of the floor but the final price ended up being $500 higher than the estimate. I felt like the salesperson should have been more accurate.

We obtained several quotes for new carpeting. Dennis came out to measure and said we would be contacted later with a quote for different types of carpet. The quote included the padding and installation. As promised the quote was provided and was a very good price. We asked for the carpet to be installed within the week, and it was. Fernando and Victor arrived on time and even though they looked too young to know what they were doing, they did an outstanding job. We are very happy with the quality of the carpet and the work that was done.

I was disappointed with them. The carpeting looks OK. We had to take the old carpeting out ourselves; we didn't want to pay for that. All they did was come in and lay the new carpeting. They removed the furniture from our room and took a couple of doors off -- our bedroom door and closet door. The closet door had some nicks in it. Our floorboards are all dinged up as well -- a few nicks and scratches. Maybe that just comes with the territory, I don't know, but that's got to be repainted. When they put our bedroom door back on, they didn't pound in the nails that need to go in there, so my husband had to adjust it so that the door could close after that. We're rather unhappy with them. I gave them a D on price because I thought we were getting a good deal, but it was a lot more than it should have been. I would not use them again.

Overall it went well. Salesman came to our home to measure and give estimate (which was accepted by us and honored by the company). On the agreed upon date and time, workmen came to deliver and install the flooring. It took a little more time than the estimated one-day estimate (nobody's fault), but workmen returned and completed the job the next day to our satisfaction. We are very pleased. There were two minor glitches. The first was that the salesman initially told us that to get the "sale price" we would have to act that very day. We later discovered that the sale was still in effect weeks later. When we inquired about this, the original salesman told us that "they" don't always inform sales personnel about the extension of sales events. ??? The second glitch had to do with the initial installation of the flooring on the steps from the kitchen down to the family room walkway. The flooring has a tiled pattern, and the manner in which the pattern was applied to the steps made it obvious that the covering was vinyl and had a "cheap" appearance to it. Fortunately, there was sufficient covering for the workmen to re-install the flooring to our satisfaction at no additional cost to us.

It was a great experience. The salesman was very friendly and actually helpful (not my usual experience with carpet places), without trying to push us to buy carpet we didn't want. The installers were pleasant, prompt and did a great job with the tricky areas. I'll definitely go back.

Everything was fantastic! The installers were fantastic and the tile installer actually found some builder issues that we had our builder fix prior to him prepping and installing. Very nice and easy to work with; very professional.

We met with them to pick out tile and get an estimate for our budget for our new home. This was for an allowance in the contract with the builder. When we came back to actually pick out the tile in the same category we stated for the estimate, the cost increase significantly forced us to go with a lower grade of tile than desired. They did a great job of installing on time and with quality but the change in price disturbing.

From beginning to end, Paul Haight, our salesman, was GREAT! He was professional and took the time to explain the different carpets we were deciding on. He accurately figured out pricing for us and arranged for the carpet measurer to come out the next day due to a short time line. I've always had a good experience with Carpetland on our rental properties and the best part is that their pricing was cheaper than both the carpet stores down the street and out in Waukesha on a better grade of carpet. I would definitely recommend Paul and Carpetland to anyone!

We looked at many places, and they had the best price for the carpet we had selected. They had a great selection overall, and they did not disappoint with installation. Both the measurer and installer arrived on time. The installer did an outstanding, quality job.

The tile I wanted is apparently hard to find, and another tile store told me that Carpetland carries it. When I went into Carpetland, the salesman denied carrying it; only after I persisted did he admit that it could be ordered; then he walked away. I got the name of the tile manufacturer from another equally annoyed salesman, went home and got information online, and then called Carpetland to place the order. On the positive side, (though the tile arrived a week late), I ultimately got what I wanted. The woman who answered the phone was helpful, got additional information for me and returned my calls right away. But I've never been in a store where the salespeople so clearly didn't want my business. I would only go back to this store for something I couldn't get elsewhere.

The floor looks fabulous. The installers worked diligently and cleaned up after the job was done.

Incredible range of options, including cheap and durable choice for us. Carpet was in stock and installation was scheduled promptly. We were a little surprised when the installer brought his son to the job, but they worked efficiently. Unfortunately, the installation process resulted in some scuffs to new drywall and paint.

The Carpetland installer (Kevin or Keith, I think) was EXCELLENT! He called in the morning to confirm the time, then called again when he was on the way. He called me at work before performing the job because he needed to change the metal piece that holds the carpet down and wanted to make sure I understood why that was necessary and how it would be better than what the other company had originally installed. He did an EXCELLENT job and we are so pleased with the results - they are beyond our expectations!

The sales representative was slow to respond, underestimated cost, and the installation time. The finishing details were poorly done and Carpetland had to be reminded twice to send a worker back to fix a dented wall.

I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH MANUFACTURER AND THE MANUFACTURER STATES THAT CARPET LAND NEEDS TO SATISFY THE WARRANTY AND WILL BE REIMBURSED BY THE MANUFACTURER. I HAVE CONSISTENTLY CONTACTED CARPET LAND WITH THE LAST CONTACT OF JULY 2004 WITH NO FOLLOW THROUGH FROM CARPET LAND. THEY SAY THEY WILL GET BACK TO ME BUT THEY DO NOT. I JUST WANT THEM TO BACK THE WARRANTY; I HAVE CUTS ALL OVER THE FLOOR THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAS INTIMATED MAY BE AS A RESULT OF IMPROPER INSTALLATION.

THEY ARE VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. THEY LET ME TAKE MY TIME WITH THE SELECTION PROCESS. THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS VERY CAREFUL ABOUT MAKING SURE THE JOB WAS DONE VERY WELL.

VERY NICE PRODUCT. THEY WERE HELPFUL BUT ALSO VERY EXPENSIVE.

I NEEDED CARPET THE NEXT DAY TO PUT OUR HOUSE ON THE MARKET AND THEY WERE ABLE TO DO IT.

SALESPEOPLE WERE VERY HELPFUL, WE HAD 3 INSTALLATIONS AND SAME INSTALLER CAME EACH TIME, AND HE WAS VERY PARTICULAR AND METICULOUS ABOUT THE INSTALLATION, VERY PUNCTUAL.

THE INSTALLERS WERE VERY EXACT AND CAREFUL. WHEN THEY LEFT, THERE WAS A MINIMUM OF CLEANUP,I ONLY HAD TO VACUUM THE BITS OF FIBERS ALONG THE BASEBOARD. SMALL AREAS AND STAIRS SHOWED GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
