good selection, Dennis the salesman explained the different products and scheduled the installation. The installation crew of Glenn, Pat and Jose removed the old carpeting and installed the new floors . They did a fantastic job.

The job went great. Excellent salesmanship by Rick Jacobs. Received a lot that you would pay extra in other stores. Installers for both the carpeting and tiling did an excellent job. All was finished in minimal time. I would definitely choose Carpetland USA again,

The sales rep was very helpful in coordinating the carpet replacement and installation for my basement. I was planning the install from afar, and he was very responsive on email and phone, sending me several different pictures of carpet samples to help me decide. He understood what I was looking for in the carpet install and tried to keep it economical. Though it was more expensive than the big box stores, the work was done timely and looked very nice at the end. There was a glitch at the end getting some paperwork, but when the right people found out about it, the situation was fixed very quickly.

We went to the Glendale location at 208 W Silver Spring Drive and worked with Rob Reimer for this service. We met with Rob a few times to get quotes on a few samples of carpet before making our final selections. From there we scheduled our installation and planned to have the installers move the furniture out of the rooms, remove old carpet, and replace with the new selections. Rob was very detail oriented and kept in touch to make sure everything would go smoothly. One thing I didn't consider was the cost of carpeting the closet which would have resulted in a large additional cost for just a few square feet. We opted to carpet the master bedroom closet since it was fairly large and leave the other closet. The installation day went very smoothly. I received a call in the morning from the installers letting me know exactly when they would arrive. They worked quickly and with great attention to detail. Extremely happy with the finished product. As far as price goes, we did compare to one other company which would have charged us a few dollars more per sq ft for the same brand of carpet. The showroom on Silver Spring has a great number of samples in brand and price range. We opted to go a little more high end but they also have a great selection of value carpet and flooring. Highly recommend!

We walked in the store to see a sales person to just set up an estimate appointment on vinyl flooring for a foyer - kitchen & 1/2 bath. This Rick Jacobs got off his chair to greet us & I told him we were looking at the Mannington Sheet Luxury Vinyl for the room's as mentioned. He started to look at he resilient flooring & I told him we are looking at the luxury flooring & gave him the color name. He left us to go look for it & we were waiting for over 10 minutes. He came back with a calculator & asked for square footage & started figuring out the price. We said we don't need a price now, we need an appointment. He took our name & address for an installer to call us. After reading various bad reviews on this company, I decided to cancel anyone to call us. Spoke to this Rick & I'm glad we didn't have to deal with him - very rude & could case if he had our business..... There are better flooring stores out there.

We are looking to have ceramic tile work done. They came and gave us an quote on what needed to be done.

We worked with Jake and were very happy with the service we received. We've got kids and a dog and the carpet was going in a high traffic area. He took all of this into consideration when recommending the carpet for us. I liked the fact that there was a price per square foot that included everything. There weren't additional charges for installation, removal of the old carpeting, the stairs etc as we found with other locations. The installation process went very smoothly. Any mess that was made was cleaned up - and the installers were very professional.

It was okay. There was nothing great about the experience.

In store personnel helped me pick out the best carpet for my stairs and hallway. The installer worked from 8am to after 10pm to get all finished in one day. The stairs were difficult with each step having to be measured, cut and installed separately. The installer was friendly and answerd any questions I had on the installation. It was a very professional job. The hallway has many doorways and was another challange. All look really good. I would absolutely use this company again for any other work in my home.

Out of all the contractors we worked with, JD at Carpetland was one of the easiest people to work with. He was always very responsive and delivered everything that was promised. They were very easy to work with in getting the work scheduled and working around the other contractors schedules. So far we have been very happy with the products selected and the quality of the work as well.

I went to different carpet stores and shopped around. Overall, I was quite pleased. They came on time. They did a good job of removing the old carpeting and then installing the new. They did a very good job of installation. It took them the entire day to do that, but they were certainly clean. They removed everything that they needed to remove. Overall, their service was quite good. The pricing was moderate. They weren't the most expensive, but they weren't the cheapest. They were very professional.

It was fine. The carpeting in the bedroom looks fine. We had wood floor and there was a problem because they thought it was a laminate and it's a solid wood product so they ordered the wrong floor. I paid an additional $875 for my carpeting because I've got a better quality, but the wood floors are all covered by the insurance. There was a long wait sometimes. I had to go out to their store and look at other floors if the floor didn't work out. I had to wait for a long time out there to see a salesperson. I realize they are busy. The day they were coming to actually put the final wood floor, I was leaving on vacation so we thought we are going to let the contractors in, but they led me to believe it was going to be early in the morning and I ended up leaving ?9:51 and I wasn't really comfortable with all that. I think in the future I'm going to look at other companies.

It went very well. We did extensive research on the internet to narrow the list of carpets that we would consider. We selected Eco-Friendly carpet with low VOC. We also selected high quality but low VOC padding. Readers, don't buy cheap padding, you'll regret it. We met Rick Jacobs at the store. I appreciated the fact the he didn't try to sell us something else; but focused on our requirements. Also, he didn't try to sell us the more expensive carpet when our carpet of choice was on sale. We were NOT aware of the sale when we decided to go to Carpetland. In fact, we nearly bought lesser quality and more costly carpet at a competitor. The sale price made the difference for us. Rick returns calls promptly. I'll be reviewing the competitor even though we didn't buy there. They'll get the good review they deserve. Carpetland uses contract installers. Our installer was Matt. He has been in the business for 30 years. We had an install issue at a doorway and Matt handled it perfectly. If you decide to buy from Carpetland, ask for Matt to be the installer. This work was done on Jan 24, 2014 a bitter-cold day in Milwaukee. The walks were covered with snow and salt. But Matt was respectful of our house, removing his shoes every time he came inside. Carpetland is good to work with. They ordered our carpet promptly and our install date was established in advance. Carpetland called to confirm and at that time asked for permission for the installer to start early. We agreed and Matt arrived about an hour early.

I thought they did an excellent job and I was very happy with quality of service from my first interaction with the sales representative, John, to the actual installation and clean up. The work crew was very polite and efficient. The installation went perfectly. I was apprehensive because I have heard horror stories about these types of jobs in the past. Overall I'm very pleased with the quality and professionalism of the company.

I have used this company several times for carpet and flooring. This time I needed laminate flooring for a kitchen/bathroom and hallways for a rental unit. As always, I had great customer service at the store. When I explained what I was looking for (nice, but not too upscale), I was directed to laminate that was exactly in my price and quality range. Very happy with my choice. Was easy to arrange a time for a representative to come out and do a look see/measurement. Also easy to arrange a time for installation. They were prompt and professional when they arrived and the installation looks great. I have two small complaints - first - they took off some doors to install the flooring and did not put them back on and second, they clearly used the sink and bathtub to mix some of their supplies and left a nasty residue in both. Now, to be fair, I did not contact the company about this because I had a cleaning crew coming out already and they took care of the sink/bathtub and am having someone coming to do some minor repairs to the unit and will have them hang the doors. So I cannot say how the company would have responded had I contacted them ( and I may still if my crew has problems with the doors). I will definitely use this company again, I will just be more clear in the future about expectations on these details. However, overall, their prices are very competitive (I did research with other companies on this and prior purchases) and, but for these two small details, their customer service and installation is excellent.

There were very good. The installation was going extremely well. Although I didn't shop as much as I should be. I would use them again.

Most companies are not to quick to jump in and fix another contractors mess, but Paul and Carpetland were there for me from beginning to end.

The salesperson was very helpful and she took a lot of time with me.? I brought in pieces of wood work and material that were in the room.? She helped me pick colors so that they all went together and looked good.? Their prices were cheaper too.? They will install the carpets after the painting gets over.? They were pretty knowledgeable.? They employ people with some design background.? They were willing to help me find stuff if I knew the company who made the stuff I was looking for.

I would post the overall experience as F but the owner/manager gave a discount due to the issues. The major issues: - Installer was 30 min late - Salesman quoted high and did not acknowledge a re-quote as they never did a measurement! I thought a quote is a quote and when you do the measure or install you re-quote if necessary. Quoted sq.ft estimate was more than the actual sq. ft. I had to question the price until I was blue in the face. - Installer was a disaster, extremely unprofessional. - I was told from someone in the industry they pay their subs very low, and therefore your likely to get low quality in regards to the install. - I used a wood laminate tile. Wood chips were left in the carpet from the cutting of the tiles outside the bathroom and one was lodged in my wife's foot. I still can't get over how many things went wrong with this experience.

After searching a number of carpet stores and home improvement chains we found Carpetland USA to be the lowest price for the style, quality, and installation of our new carpet. - Rick the sales rep was helpful when showing us carpet selection. By our second visit he lowered his initial quote and upgraded our padding from a 6 to an 8 oz and tack strips installed no extra charge. My Wife was the one who stayed at home to let the Installers in. - The carpet installers were sub contractors. They were there at the appointed time. However, when I called to ask them to pull the last row of tack strips because they had previously gotten wet. The gentleman stated that it would be an extra charge for removal and installation. I stated that we paid for the tack strips for the entire room. They charged us an additional 48 dollars C.O.D. to pull up tack strips on one wall that was left from the original carpet being removed. ( I did the carpet removal) After coming home and really revieiwing the install we found the installers damaged several walls during the installation process that I will have to fix and paint. - David the store manager had very poor customer service skills to say the least. We called to discuss the issue of the extra 48 dollars charge. After non productive conversations with my wife and then myself finally David admitted that the cost was insignificant and that he would not charged us. That message did not get relayed to the installers who after the install of the carpet politely asked my Wife for 48 dollars. She gave them a check to get them out of the house and on their way. I called David the store manager who said he would contact the office to not cash the check because the fee had been waived. I am not holding my breath. Note: Andrea was the only person on the install day who took the time to try to hear our issue and try to help.

We had some basement flooding and needed to replace carpet in three separate areas. We came into Carpetland knowing that we didn't want the highest end product, but we still wanted it to look nice. We explained our situation to Karen and she immediately directed us to the "back room". There was a nice selection of remnants and larger pieces of carpet (in stock) for a competitive price. We liked that the carpet price included installation. We also appreciated that Karen understood what we were looking for. Carpetland completed the entire job (three areas) for the same price another place quoted for one area. We did not have to skimp on quality either, we received a Shaw mid-level frieze.
