Tony was personable and professional. The job was completed thoroughly and quickly.

When I called, I spoke with Paul, who thanked me for calling for a service date 2 weeks ahead of time. He asked what I needed done and explained to me their prices. There was a trip charge, I had an Angie's List coupon for $20.00, and the hourly rate and that the charge was rated on the 1/4hours. He said he would be on vacation the week of my service, but told me who would be available if I had any questions. He then told me it would be Tony or Curt who would do the work. I received a call the day before the job to let me know which electrician would be coming. Curt was the electrician and he arrived right on time. He was very friendly, walked around to see what we wanted done and he explained what he would be doing. He worked very efficiently and was able to work and talk about what he was doing with my husband. We had a couple of outlets that really concerned me, but one of them only had to be tightened and he replaced a faceplate that it needed.

Dustin was exactly on time and explained everything he found and what he did to correct the problem. We were probably lucky we hadn't had a fire since the burned outlet was behind an entertainment console that is not moved. He even offered to wait for me to clean under the refrigerator so he could move it back for me. I didn't want to take advantage of the offer since cleaning was going to take some time. The price of everything he did was itemized on the bill and he explained each item. He asked if we had any questions several times. This was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely use Best Electric again.

Best was a great company to work with. Paul handled all phone calls and emails within 24 hours and always sounded professional and interested in making the job work well for us. When I made a mistake and gave him some misinformation about going beyond the quote stage for some other larger work (sorry, Paul, that was my fault!), he was flexible and understanding. On the day of work, they pulled the necessary permits and Tony arrived five minutes early to install two new outlets, each on their own circuit. He ran conduit all the way across the house and into a very unpleasant crawl space in order to reach the garage. When I asked him if he could insert a junction box halfway through the conduit run (for future work), he obliged and did a good job. Then, in the garage, when we were faced with some installation dilemmas due to some scabbing woodwork within the wall, Tony came up with some excellent suggestions how to handle the issue. Tony was very pleasant and handled all of my questions. To wrap things up, they called soon thereafter to arrange for the electrical inspection. The only reason we gave a B for the price was because for a larger panel change job, another competitor came up with an idea that suited our budget just a little bit better. We had a good experience with Best Electric and have placed them on our "Top 3 Electricians to Call" list.

Best Electric was great. I talked to Paul on the phone about a few things that needed to be done in my kitchen before I could continue with an update I was doing. He scheduled a convenient time after explaining their pricing policy and helping me to understand what one particular problem outlet might entail in my old house. Paul took his time to make sure both he and I understood each other. Dustin arrived at the agreed time to complete the work scheduled on the first day. He was professional and cheerful throughout his visit. He looked at my problem and explained what might have to happen given the strange place for an old electrical outlet. He found out how to solve this problem quickly and cheerfully took down screwed in ceiling tiles to complete the work properly. He replaced them so that I would never have known they were taken down. I knew I needed to have a new overhead ceiling light and range hood installed but I had not yet bought them. When I told Dustin about it, he gave me an approximate cost and told me to schedule soon as they were getting a lot of business. I bought my items and called Paul again. They were booked up, but Paul figured out a way to fit me into the schedule. I am so grateful as I needed to do these things before painting. Dustin again arrived on time with the same cheerful attitude and completed the work quickly. Everything looks good and works great. I will definitely call Best Electric again when I have any electrical work. Everyone I had contact with at Best Electric made me feel like I was a valued customer even though the work was small.

We were so please with the service we received from Best Electric. They were able to come out help with an electrical emergency 3 hours before our holiday party was to begin. They got here within 45 minutes of calling them and made the repair very quickly, They were lifesavers!

The outdoor light replacement left some additional garage outer wall work to do because the size and shape of the new lights differed from the old. The contractor spent an enormous amount of time answering my questions and even offered to come back to do the repair wall work for me! They're invaluable to me because I know when I have any electrical work at all, they'll evaluate it honestly and do high quality work. Besides that, they go above and beyond "typical" electrical work, are patience with my endless questions and that is unheard of today.

Called WE Energies and Best because WE said demark between them and customer equipment is metal pole on house. WE actually reattached everything but recommended reinforcing installation of pole. I called Best back and rescheduled for next day since there was no danger and I know they were very busy due to storm. They came the next day

they were on-time, professional, efficient, and did a good job to fix my issue. he was able to trouble-shoot the problem quickly, and was done in just a short amount of time. nice company and employees - will def use again in the future.

This company is great! They were professional every step of the way; they responded promptly to my call for service; suggested they might be able to just change out the motor rather than install a whole new fan, which would save me considerable money. We went with that option. They could have easily sold us a whole new fan, so we appreciated that they were being honest and fair. They charge in quarter hour increments, and that is exactly what they did, as opposed to some companies who say they do, but then find a way to take a long time for the repair.They came exactly when they said they would, with even a reminder call just ahead of time. The electrician was extremely professional and just a nice person, asking if we had any other concerns as long as he was already there. He told us to call if we had any questions with the replacement motor at all. I am so glad we found this company on Angies List. They are setting a very high standard for their industry.PS. I believe the name of the electrician who did our repair was Darrin. I wasn't the person who answered the door, but I believe that was his name. We immediately called the company to tell them how impressed we were with him.

They're local. I go for that. They had the low bid. He was very prompt. They were considerably lower than the next bid.

I initially spoke to the owner who actually called me twice in returning my calls. Usually, a contractor will call once and if they miss you, you never hear from them again. So we finally reached each other over phone and he very clearly explained costs. The technician had an hour window of time and he was hear 15 minutes within the hour window. He was pleasant, prompt and explained what he was doing and why. It turned out to be an old switch which he showed me and suggested I change out the other one in the kitchen which I had him do. I was charged $2.11 for each switch. Total cost to bring light back to my kitchen - priceless - but under $100.00. I trust their work and will use them if I ever have an issue like this. This contractor is the reason I went with Angie's list. I was able to seek out a good reputable contractor and while I expected good service because of this, my expectations were more than met.

Had a old circuit breaker box that was mislabeled and no spare room for circuits. We need to remodel and old bath and the kitchen and wanted service upgraded for room. Read Angie's List for recommendations and got estimates. Best Electric was by far the most reasonable and their estimator Al knew what he was talking about. No power to house for about 4 hours but it was not really cold and they do check weather. They called the night before to verify we were on and were here promptly at 8A. No waiting around and they got right to it.

Very professional. Showed up on time. Completed the work in a clean and professional manner. If there was a problem they discussed it with me and offered options.

I can't say enough great things about this company. Paul was extremely helpful and wanted to make sure he scheduled enough time with an electrician for our needs. Dustin was sent who was young, knowledgable, professional, clean, and courteous. He explained everything to me in detail. When I asked about the polarity issue he even gave me a time estimate and asked if it was in my budget. I've never had anyone ask me this before! How outstanding! When we had the city inspector come to check things out he said he has never had one issue with this company or its work and always knows the job will be done right if he sees it on his list. They had the best quote of all the vendors I contacted. They were very professional. They were very easy to work with and very easy to schedule. I was always able to get hold of someone at the office. Overall it was a very good experience. The price was very good. They were very punctual.
