I sent e-mails to three places when looking for someone to fix our garage door and opener. Fortunately, Aspen was the the only one that bothered to respond. The day after I left a message on his listing he called me. It was the afternoon and he apologized for it taking so long to get back to me. I explained the situation and he said he could stop out the next day and look at it. The next morning I got a call from him while I was at work and he said he could work on it right away. I was thinking I was going to need a new garage door and opener, he said not to waste my money on a new door. He could fix it so it worked fine and I probably wouldn't need to buy a new door for 5 - 10 more years. He fixed the tracks, replaced the rollers, the hinges, repaired some problem areas on the door itself and replaced the weatherstripping..and replaced the garage door opener. He called a few hours later, said he was done and would leave the bill in the garage. I came home and everything was done perfectly and my garage was cleaner than when I left in the morning. The man is friendly, professional, true to his word and does great work. You couldn't ask for a better experience.

My old opener quit and we needed a new one. I called Aspen and got immediate response from the owner. They were able to replace the opener and set up all the remotes and controls just how I wanted. There price was fair and I didn't have to spend an entire weekend trying to do it my self. They were great. Clean and efficient. In and out in a few hours. I will use them again when the door needs to be replaced next year.

Overall I had a great experince with Aspen Garage Door. The only issue I had was the service tech lost my phone number and couldn't call to tell me he was going to be late. When he did show up he was professional and apologetic. The garage door in question is on a foreclosure I had recently purchased and was completely non functional. Part of the railing was mangled as well. I explained that I was not in the market for a new garage door at the time as I had just made several other purchases for the house and I would just like it to be functional. "No problem" was the response. He explained in detail what would have to be replaced to make the door function, and also gave me prices for that repair as well as replacement. I chose to go with the repair and we rescheduled for the next day so he could have the necessary parts. He showed up early the next day and within an hour or so had the garage door functioning perfectly. I will definitely be calling Aspen when I am ready to purchase a replacement.

Had been having problems with our garage door for a two weeks. It would only partially open or close. We initially adjusted the opening and closing force. This helped for a week, but then problem started again. I noticed some of the hinges and rollers were bent, and I suspected an electrical problem with garage door opener itself as well. I figured there was enough wrong that it was worth bringing someone in rather than trying to fix it myself. Patrick from Aspen was great. He came out the same day we called. Arrived right when he said he would. Spent 2 hours working on door. I was shocked how inexpensive it was. He was a nice guy and very professional. Garage door now opens and closes completely every time and is incredibly quite. I would trust Patrick again.

He was very professional, equipped me with information, certainly wanted to show me what I could buy but also presented me with options, and finally gave me the labor and cable for free since it's a new house and my plumbing was having problems *the same day* -- that was very helpful on a bad house day! I will go back to Pat/Aspen in the fall to get the new door that I had already known I would likely need, but now I'm not maxing out my credit card or parking my car on the driveway apron thanks to Pat.

They came on time and they fixed the door. It kind of had a mind of its own and it kept going up and down on its own. They put a new part in and did the electrical for it. We wanted to have one of those key pads and he just threw that in for free. He was very nice and did a very good job.

Phil came out to our home as scheduled. He inspected the door and told us what he thought should be done. He explained the difference in door roller types so we could make an informed choice. Phil replaced all 10 door rollers with new steel rollers. He lubricated all of the moving parts on the door. In addition, he checked the door balance and had to adjust the spring tension. We were amazed at how much more quiet the door is when opening and closing after his service call. In addition, the door opens easier now. We were very pleased with this service call and do not think anything could have been done any better than it was.

Called for service in the afternoon and he was on the next morning. He would have been there earlier, but I didn't need to get my car out that day. He arrived on time and was done in less than a couple of hours. Very professional.

Called around 6:30 pm and set an appt for the following afternoon. They called to let me know they were on the way. Did the job quicly and professionally. Great guys!

They came out one day earlier than originally planned and managed the fix the door. We now know we will have to replace the door in the future, but we now have a temporary solution.

I really appreciated the technician being honest. He did a good job fixing my door. The technician was responsive, punctual, and professional. I am satisfied with the quality of work the technician provided.

It took me only about 15 minutes to follow his directions and make my opener work perfectly.

I wasn't sure who to contact for a new garage door. I looked on Angie's List and found Aspen. They had received many good reviews so I decided to give them a call. Pat came out within a couple of days and gave me a detailed estimate. He told me what all my options were and exactly what they would do. I was impressed with him and placed my order the next day. We set up an appointment for the installation within three weeks. The day of the installation Pat was there on time and worked quickly to take out my old door and install the new door. He thoroughly explained everything he was doing and completed the job as indicated. He went out of his way to show me all the features of the door and answered all the questions I had. The whole experience went very smoothly. I am very pleased with the door and with the work Aspen did. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace their garage door.

I called Aspen around 6:30pm. He said that he would be able to come to my home around 4pm the next day. He estimated fixing the door at $150 - $175. He arrived at 3:45pm and it took him about 45 minutes to fix the door and it cost $120. He was very professional and friendly. It was nice that his estimate was higher than what I was charged. He took the time to explain to me what he repaired and also showed me where to oil when my door was squeeking.

In the middle of our major garage insulation and air-sealing project, the garage door chain mechanism broke. We didn't know what type of repair was needed, and checked on Angie's list after not hearing back quickly from the company that had last worked on the door. We contacted Aspen Garage Door, who was able to come out quickly; since the job required more than just a simple repair, Phil called me at work to explain the need for a new door since the old one was at least 25 years old. He was able to install it right away, so when I came home from work that afternoon, it was all in place and works great. We really appreciate the quick responsiveness and good workmanship, as well as the warranty.

I called for an estimate and was able to set up an appointment in a timely fashion. Phil asked lots of questions which turned out to be very helpful as Pat had everything with him to make the repair that day. Pat arrived on schedule and was quickly able to diagnose and explain the problem. He also explained the mechanism and how to use the device. He set up the garage door opener on my car as well as providing new, portable openers. This is an "old-time" company that specializes in service and professional work. They add an additional year of warranty to the commercial one that comes with the equipment. I would definitely recommend them

I called multiple companies (all found here) requesting estimates. Aspen was able to come out within 48 hours for an estimate, and was on time (actually a bit early). I spoke with Pat (half of the partner ownership), and he assured me all of my concerns (questions raised from other companies, but they didn't have a definite answer). While Aspen's price was a bit higher than some of the competitors, I could tell that these guys were the most thorough, and it was confirmed with their great work! They were able to fit replacing my garage door into their busy schedule within two weeks, which was at least one week earlier than any other company's estimate. They were here on time, the work took exactly how long they said it would, and they exceeded my expectations. They did a terrific job with everything, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

We contacted Pat on Thursday and set up service for the following day. He arrived right on time and worked quickly. He was professional and worked around our family and children extremely well. If we need garage door work in the future we will definitely use this company again.

Service technician was prompt, friendly and professional. Explained clearly the repairs recommended. Very knowledgeable about doors, mechanisms, remotes and solutions to problems. Had all necessary parts, most better quality than OEM. Came within two days of call. Prices reasonable in my opinion. Accepts credit card or check. Overall, very pleased with service and will use this vendor again.

It went perfectly - so exceeded my expectations. Top-notch. We had a fairly new garage door that a handyman had installed a few years ago. We noticed as the weather grow colder sometimes it just does not work. (unheated garage). On the coldest morning that I have ever experienced in my lifetime, the garage door upon hitting the opener started to go up and then started to buckle on top and jammed partially open. I heard metal bending like the soundtrack from a 6 million dollar man episode. I immediately looked on Angies list and found Aspen. He was so nice on the phone and basically came out immediately to look at what had happened. We were all gone at work that day, but I received a call shortly after that he had reinforced a few things and oiled up the rails and did a few other adjustments and honestly it worked better than they day that it was installed. I really was about -30 degrees that morning and I was amazed at how polite, professional and nice Aspen Doors was I would recommend them to anyone.

He not only repaired the problem, he also made adjustments to the garage door, which was not properly installed. It works much better than before.

No complaints. He was able to come out on a Saturday (it cost $40 extra) and fixed it in about an hour. He also lubricated the door and chain. I don't know if I paid too much or not; I didn't shop around.

We called Phil on Monday and he was out by Wednesday to do the repair.

When I called the main phone number an answering machine offered to take a message and also provided the cell phone number of the owner if immediate service was needed. Owner Patrick Deppen answered his cell and after asking a few questions was able to give me an exact quote over the phone. Patrick arrived later that afternoon as promised and took about an hour to complete the job. Patrick also replaced two rollers at no charge. I was impressed that he offered a firm price quote over the phone ( before I asked ) and that he included the rollers ( which were not discussed over the phone ) at no additional cost. I am completely satisfied with the completed job and price and would recommend Aspen Garage Door with confidence.

Pat, the owner, was really great to work with. He was very nice and accommodating. He did everything that he said he would do. He called us when he needed to and installed the door when we wanted it. It was a wonderful experience. My husband has used him before for a rental property.
