Description of Work: We got an estimate for a Cedar plank fence to enclose our yard + labor. The Thomases were amazing--came promptly for our appointment, asked questions to figure out exactly what we needed, made recommendations and offered suggestions on how to save money, wrote easy-to-understand & clear estimates, even gave us suggestions about how to work with other companies, & urged us to get additional quotes. We ended up choosing another company because another company was cheaper and could take our job sooner, but we would not hesitate to recommend Thomas Fence to anyone. The Thomases are true artisans and great people to work with.

THE OWNERS, BILL AND CINDY, ARE GREAT, DOWN-HOME PEOPLE. KNOWING OUR BUDGET WAS TIGHT, THEY DIDN''T HAVE A PROBLEM RECOMMENDING WAYS TO SAVE MONEY. AND BILL WAS SO POLITE AND RESPECTFUL... ''YES MAAM'', ''NO MAAM''. BILL AND HIS CREW WORKED HARD, EVEN IN NASTY WEATHER. ON FRIDAY, THEY TORE DOWN THE OLD FENCE, SET THE NEW POSTS, AND DRAGGED THE OLD FENCE AWAY. THE NEXT TUESDAY, WHEN THE CEMENT FOR THE POSTS WERE SET, THEY PUT UP THE FENCE IN ONE DAY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

I WAS TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH THE JOB PERFORMED BY THOMAS FENCE AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. I NEEDED A RATHER LARGE FENCE, ALMOST 300 FEET. LIKE MOST PEOPLE I WANTED THE BEST QUALITY FOR THE LOWEST PRICE. I ACTUALLY RECEIVED 6 ESTIMATES. THOMAS FENCE UNDER BID THE NEAREST COMPETITOR BY $1100 FOR THE HIGH QUALITY RED CEDAR FENCE I WAS LOOKING FOR. THE REASON THE COST WAS SO REASONABLE IS BECAUSE THOMAS FENCE IS A HUSBAND AND WIFE TEAM, WHICH ELIMINATES THE MIDDLEMAN. THEY WORKED THROUGH SOME BAD WEATHER AND PUT THE FENCE UP ON SCHEDULE. THEY WERE VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. ALTHOUGH THEY HAD TO DO SOME ADDITIONAL WORK AND ADD A SMALL SECTION, THEY DIDN'T GO OVER THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE.
Description of Work: A 290' RED CEDAR FENCE INSTALLED.
