They were little bit more expensive than the other windows that I looked at for estimates, but I am convinced that they have the best quality of windows. They have a lifetime guarantee on it, so I am convinced this was the best option. They did really good work. The window just looks beautiful, and he informed me to not get a case window, to get an awning window so that there is proper ventilation. After the installation the man showed me how to use the window, and also showed me how it works and a plus is that it never needs painting for the inside or outside. After he left I happened to notice some scratch marks on the wall. I contacted them, they had someone come out and take a picture of it, and they told me no problem, that they would have someone come out and paint it for me which they did.

The sales person, Randy, was courteous, easy to work with and was the only person who followed up with me. This was a big reason why I chose Andersen Renewal. Other companies called, gave me estimates and then I never heard from them again. The installers were extremely tidy and I really had no clean up except for vacuuming. There was a problem with one window and the installer noticed right away and called in to order a replacement part. That should be installed within the next few weeks.

The rep, Tim, was nice, but long winded. He explained all the window features, but would not speed up the presentation. There was no hard sell. He was at our house for about two hours;30 minutes would have done it. We did not want to be rude, but he did not pick up on our cues to speed up. The product cost was as much as wood interior windows, which we ended up going with, as we liked the look better. Tim did follow up with a call, which was nice, and he did not harrass us or anything like that.

Great product, great company to work with.

Expensive, but matched my colonial wood mullion pattern exactly as I specified with wooden high profile grids to recreate the original look of the 1938 house. Father and son installment team was exceptional, cutting the aluminum precisely, working around my clutter without negative comment, and without damage to my interior walls and trim. Completed a walk-through of every feature on every single window so I understood and practiced the operation and signed off on the product and workmanship. Several followup calls and satisfaction questionnaire too. Immediately replaced brown window locks that should have been white. At $1000 per window it wasn't cheap, but they did the job right, on time, and the salesman gave me all the upgrade options I wanted as I explained I wanted the windows to match the 1938 original look. Would have liked exterior painted wood trim pressure washed before being covered in aluminum.

Andersen seems to have a great product that we have been very satisfied with. The functionality of the windows as well as the style have been winning factors for us. Removal and installation of the windows was very quick.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND RENEWAL BY ANDERSEN. WE HAD 7 DIFFERENT WINDOW COMPANIES COME IN TO BID OUT THE JOB AND WE FOUND THAT ANDERSEN HAD THE BEST PRODUCT, AT A REASONABLE PRICE. THE SALESMAN, TIM BURNS WAS VERY HELPFUL, AND PROFESSIONAL. THE INSTALLERS WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND NEAT. THE WINDOWS AND DOOR LOOK GREAT. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANDERSEN TO ANYONE WHO IS IN THE MARKET FOR REPLACEMENT WINDOWS OR DOORS.

WE LOVE THE DOORS, AND THE INSTALLATION INITIALLY WENT FINE. HOWEVER, TWO MONTHS AFTER THEY WERE INSTALLED, THE HANDLE ON OUR BACK DOOR (THE ONE WE USE MOST OFTEN) FELL OFF. WE WENT THROUGH TEN MONTHS OF BACK AND FORTH TO GET IT FIXED. THEY CAME OUT REPEATEDLY AND "REPAIRED" IT, BUT IT KEPT FALLING OFF. IN THE END, WE ASKED THEM TO PLEASE FIX IT BEFORE THE OPEN HOUSE (WE WERE PUTTING OUR HOME UP FOR SALE), AND THEY SENT SOMEONE OUT WHO DIDN'T HAVE THE PARTS. WE HAD TO DO THE OPEN HOUSE WITH NO HANDLE ON THE BACK DOOR--AFTER THEY KNEW IT WAS BROKEN FOR TEN MONTHS. IT'S FINALLY FIXED NOW, BUT I CAN'T FATHOM WHY IT TOOK SO LONG.

ALTHOUGH MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER WINDOWS, NOTABLY VINYL, WE CHOSE ANDERSEN FOR THEIR QUALITY. OUR SALESMAN, TIM BURNS, WAS GREAT, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY. THE WORK CREW WAS OF EQUAL QUALITY, EVEN WHEN ENCOUNTERING SOME HIDDEN PROBLEMS WITH THE EXISTING CONSTRUCTION.

JIM A. WAS VERY HELPFUL. PROMPT SERVICE, GOOD CLEAN UP AND BEAUTIFUL WINDOWS. I CHANGED MY MIND A NUMBER OF TIMES REGARDING THE WOOD FOR THE CASING AND THEY WERE EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE.

THE WINDOWS ARE GREAT, THEY PUT THEM IN QUICKLY, AND THE QUALITY OF THE WINDOWS WAS OUTSTANDING. THE STAINERS WERE OUTSTANDING, THE MATCHING OF THE STAIN WAS AMAZING. I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THE COMPANY. THE FOLLOW UP WAS NOT GOOD. THEY DAMAGED SOME OF THE STOPS AND THEY DIDN'T REPAIR THEM. THEY HAD TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD WASH THE WINDOWS, BUT AFTER THE GUY PUT THEM IN, HE SAID THAT THEY DON'T DO THAT. I HAD TO COMPLAIN TO GET THEM WASHED AND THEY WEREN'T WASHED VERY WELL.

I WENT TO THEIR SHOWROOM AND SPOKE WITH A SALESMAN. THE PRICE QUOTED WAS WAY ABOVE ANYTHING ANYONE ELSE QUOTED. THEY SEEMED SHORT-STAFFED, AND I DID NOT FEEL I HAD THEIR FULL ATTENTION. THEY GAVE ME SOME LITERATURE AND SAID TO CALL IF I WANTED THEM TO COME OUT.

THE SALESMAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT. KNEW HIS PRODUCT AND HELPFUL IN TELLING US WHAT WOULD LOOK NICE FOR OUR HOME. WE WENT WITH ANOTHER COMPANY, BUT IT WAS A HARD DECISION BECAUSE HE REALLY SOLD THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT.

WE REALLY LIKE THE QUALITY OF OUR NEW ANDERSEN WINDOWS, ALTHOUGH THEY WERE QUITE EXPENSIVE COMPARED TO THE COMPETITORS. THERE DEFINITELY IS A NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY. (THE ANDERSEN WINDOWS AVAILABLE AT HOME DEPOT ARE NOT THE SAME AS THE 'RENEWAL BY ANDERSEN' WHICH YOU HAVE TO ORDER FROM THE WEST ALLIS STORE.) WE HAD TO WAIT ABOUT 8 WEEKS FOR THEM TO BE INSTALLED, AS EACH WINDOW IS CUSTOM MADE TO FIT YOUR HOME. THEY WERE ALL INSTALLED IN 1 DAY AND THE INSTALLERS DID A WONDERFUL JOB.

EXCELLENT QUALITY PRODUCT, SPECIAL EFFORT TO COMPLETE THE JOB BEFORE A PARTY THAT I HAD PLANNED.

THEY ARE HONEST AND A TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY. THE AMOUNT OF MONEY INVESTED WAS WELL WORTH IT. THE COMPANY OFFERS A SUPERIOR PRODUCT WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE.
