Service went well. Many holes in the mortar between the chimney tiles were found and the contractors showed me the pictures on their equipment. They explained our options and we still need to have this repaired. They explained everything they were doing along the way. Very courteous and professional. Thank you!

The guys were great. They arrived on time, put down floor coverings to protect our floors, inspected and cleaned the fireplace and chimney. We closed on the house earlier that same day, so we really didn't know anything about the fireplace, which is an insert. They instructed us on its general features and how to use it properly, including recommending getting a magnetic thermostat to attach to the front of the fireplace so we can monitor temperature to try to avoid creosote build-up.

They were able to get the job done less than a week before Christmas. This was important to us since we were hosting a family gathering and wanted to use the fireplace. They cleaned up after they were finished and left no trace.

Staff arrived on time, completed the inspection and cleaing and cleaned up after themselves. Fireplace works beautifully. I also have cleaned the hearth with the product they offered and it looks great. Very professional service.

Two guys showed up promptly, they seemed nice, but one followed me in my house. They said they wiped mold up that was found from my leak, I wish I could have seen it first. One guy said the top plate was canted wrong, I just wonder if this is a permanent fix or just a couple of years. The guy on the phone said it should never leak again. I hope not! Unsure if will use again.

Both chimney liners installed were of the wrong size and installation was "poorly"done. When having a fire in the basement fireplace it filled our house up with smoke so much so your eyes would burn. After several trips to our home to try and fix the problem and using up our vacation time to do so, Quality Fireplace did install an exhaust fan. However, the fireplace no longer heats our basement like it used to and the damper had to be removed to install the loud exhaust fan. Since we no longer have a damper on our basement fireplace the heat from our home is going right up the chimney. We currently have a piece of Styrofoam covering our fireplace opening to try and prevent as much heat going up the flue and outside. We no longer use this fire place and the Styrofoam is an eyesore! I have expressed my concern to Quality Fireplace that our upstairs fireplace also has draft problems. When opening the glass doors to put wood on the fire, smoke will just billow out into the room. I was told from Quality Fireplace that it really wasn't a problem for the upstairs fireplace because there were glass doors on it and that would keep the smoke in the fireplace and stop it from coming into our home. However, we should be able to have a fire with the glass doors open! We explained our draft problems to Ed from Quality Fireplace on August 12th and how we are even having to clean the glass doors after every fire in addition to the draft problem. Ed told my husband that this problem with the draft is because our fireplace was just too big for the size liner we now have. So not sure why the correct size liner was not installed in the first place. Working with Quality Fireplace to remedy our draft problems has been awful. Many of his solutions to fix the draft problem have only made it worse such as removing both of our old dampers. Bottom line, according the Wisconsin Uniform Building Dwelling Codes both chimney liners that Quality Fireplace installed are too small for the size of both our fireplaces. To repair the work that Quality Fireplace did and to have our fireplaces in the same working order as they were previously, will cost us more than double what we paid Quality Fireplace. The work that now has to be done is a very labor intensive project. The chimney liners that Quality Fireplace installed must be chiseled out as the outside of the liners have been filled with concrete. Overall, my experience with this company has not been good and wish my fireplaces were in the same working order as they previously were.

They did an amazing job . It turned out we had a flu fire that we didn't know about that they brought to my attention . Explained what the "stuff" was that they were getting off the walls of the flu and made a very helpful suggestion/recommendation regarding regularly scheduled cleaning/maintenance. They were very nice, very helpful , very professional , thorough and cleaned up 100% when they were finished . I will be using them again for my chimney/fireplace cleaning needs

They came out shortly after the purchase. It went well. They did extra stuff. I don't recall what it was. My wife took care of it. They were experts and told us a few other things we had issues with in terms of the chimney and how it was effecting our roof. They gave us some tips. It was a good service. They are a fine provider.

Happy that they were able to schedule me in on short notice, so we could have a sense of safety to have the fireplace functional for the holidays. Both John and his associate took the time to ensure the traffic area into the living room and area around the fire place were covered before beginning. Afterwards they double wrapped up the old logs and ash and ensured that the room was returned to original condition. Both were very professional in getting the job done as if it was their own home.

I would highly recommend them.They were punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and very personable. I was nervous about using our gas fire place.Brian and Ed thoroughly inspected, taught me about the different parts I needed to know in order to safely run it and even rearranged the logs to improve the aesthetics!

They did an amazing job. It looks new and they left the area cleaner than it was when they got here!!!

They did a great job. The chimney inspection was performed with a video camera mounted on poles and they were able to demonstrate some structural defects. Gave me reasonable alternatives for repair with ballpark costs. No pressure. Last year I had Royal chimney perform the same service but there was no internal inspection, it cost more, and based on the dirty condition of the flu and liner there was some thought that they didn't even clean or did a very poor job (I wasn't home at the time, so who knows). I'll stick with Quality Fireplace.

My experience overall was good. Here is a snapshot of my experience with Quality Fireplace. When they came out, they insisted on a doing a cleaning and video scan of my chimney - which I had to pay $250 for. At first I was taken back by this, and almost cancelled my appointment, but in the end, it was the right thing to do. No one could've ever accurately estimated my job unless they were able to see the condition of my chimney. Once I signed the contract, they were very quick and professional in getting the job done. The one complaint I have is that I felt they went a little too far with trying to make the job more affordable. I feel there there were some corners they were willing to cut (like expansion joints), that could've compromised the durability the job.

They were terrific. They were very courteous and professional. In addition to great work, we had some simultaneous, fun discussions about the Packers!!! They conducted the fireplace and chimney inspection, cleaned the fireplace, and then left everything in perfect order. In addition to the cleaning, they discovered a small issue we had with the top of chimney itself, which we will rectify in the Spring. Additionally, they provided us some amazing cleaner to take care of our fireplace glass windows. We were so happy with them, that we asked them to provide us some recommendations for other jobs around our home, including windows and finishing the basement. A terrific group. GO PACK!!!

It was great. They were on time, came when they said they would, and were very professional and very courteous. It was a pleasant experience. I think the price was pretty good but I didn’t really compare it with a lot of other providers.

I purchased the $239 complete chimney cleaning service coupon and was able to quickly schedule an appointment with Mike. Mike and another gentleman showed up within the stated window and got right to work. They used a large tarp to keep the place clean, explained the inspection and cleaning process, and made sure to let me watch when they sent a camera up the chimney to check all the mortar joints and whatnot. They also answered some questions I had about general fireplace operation - I'm a first time fireplace owner/user and they were great at explaining the features of our old 40s fireplace and how to ensure I don't burn my house down. Turns out our fireplace and chimney are in excellent condition for their age and I would definitely use these guys again the next time I need it inspected and cleaned.

Ed and Brian did a truly "Quality" job! I did not know that we would get a comedy show with the chimney sweeping. We have had another company do our maintenance previously and even with the lower cost, they did a much better job at the cleaning and explanation of what would need to be considered in the future. They were both professional and efficient! Thanks guys!

They called prior to arriving. They were about 1/2 hour ahead of schedule which worked out well for me. They were friendly and went right to work. They kept their tools on a tarp and were careful moving their equipment into and out of the house. They didn't make a mess doing the cleaning. They estimated a 30 minute time frame and that's what it took. They provided the Waver of Lien form that I had requested in earlier conversations with their company. I purchased their service through an Angie's List Big Deal.

Did quality work, Made sure he instructed me in regards to the new damper. Made sure fire place was working correctly by starting a fire.
