Quality Fireplace & Chimney Service

They were very nice and cleaned up after they were done. I was afraid they would use scare tactics to have me purchase more work-- neighbors have used other companies and had bad experiences. This company was fantastic!

Ed and his partner did a marvelous job cleaning and inspecting our pre-fabricated wood burning fireplace. Ed called prior to his scheduled arrival time to advise me that they would probably be early and in fact they did arrive early. We have very light colored carpeting so I appreciated that they removed their shoes upon entering our home. They took great care to keep the area around the fireplace clean by using tarps and immediately vacuuming all the residue out of the fireplace. Even though it was not part of the normal cleaning process Ed went above and beyond by removing the grate over the fireplace air intake and vacuuming that area as well. They were both a joy to work with and I would definitely recommend their services.

The chimney looks great. Mike was on time, very helpful, got the job done in a timely manner and didn't leave a hint of a mess. I was able to schedule easily and the team was accomodating.

Great service. The technician arrived during the appointment window and the technician, Brian, called prior to arrival to say he would arrive in 15 minutes and he did. Brian did a great job covering the floors and hearth and he explained what he was going to do. He also provided some tips for the future. Very professional.

Scheduling the appointment was easy. The team called me on the morning of the appointed day to ask if it was ok for them to come about an hour earlier than scheduled. I was delighted with that. They brought my step ladder out of the basement for me and climbed up into the attic space. The problem was not as bad as I feared. Just an icicle that had dropped off of one of the roof vents after a period of below zero weather. They assured me that there was no other evidence of water or water damage in the unfinished attic space, and that it was well ventilated up there. They also did a visual inspection of the roof fixtures by walking all around the outside of the building. These men were professional and friendly and did not try to sell me anything. It really put my mind at ease knowing that my roof should be ok yet for a few years. I would surely call on them again if any problems arise in the future.

Quality Fireplace ROOF & Chimney Service turned out pretty well, they did a good job. In the inspection, they found out that we had cracks in the masonry and the top of the chimney cap was rusting. I t however took a while to get things done, but i guess it was because they had a special order. they had to have that cap custom made. They were very professional.

Brian and Javier were very professional and friendly. They ensured the house was kept clean during the process. Everything went well and we have a nice clean chimney.

They came out and looked at it and said that the house was too tall and never did the work. Scheduling wasn’t hard and they were very professional. I was disappointed that they were unable to do the work.

They did an inspection of two fireplaces and chimneys in a house I was purchasing in July, 2014. They gave me detailed information and answered all of my questions. They let me know that one chimney was probably never going to work and gave alternatives to install a gas insert, even though they don't do that service. I called them again in January, 2015, to look at one of my fireplaces which was blowing a lot of cold air into my house. Ed came out on the same day. He wasn't able to offer any viable solutions, but reassured me that it was not operating improperly. There was no charge for this visit. I will have some work done by them in the summer of 2015 to repair a cracked chimney cap.

just as I described. Put down tarps and used booties on their shoes. used a high volume vacuume to collect dust. Answered all my questions and showed me how to operate the fireplace.

This provider was very knowledgeable and spent lots of time on the phone educating me about fireplaces, in my home and in general. I am out of their typical service area (East Troy), and he still spent this time with me. He also referred me to another service provider that could handle my needs and services my area. Very helpful and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone who lives in their service area, based on my conversations with him on the phone.

We have a 2 story home with wood-burning fireplace. The 2-man crew showed up on-time, and were very easy to accommodate - price for sweep was the $239 special on Angie's list. They got straight to work, and helped us understand our chimney alot better! They kept the house clean, and didn't have any problems working with pets. They cleaned the chimney well and showed us pictures of what it looked like before and after, and thankfully we didn't have any masonry issues. However, we did find than an undersized cap was on our flue, which explains some of the issues with fires we've had. They gave us a nice 13x13 stainless steel cap, and used our old cap on the appliance flue which didn't have anything on it (to keep animals out). They answered a lot of my questions, about the cre-away logs (does it work? yes, cre-away itself works), how many logs we can burn before a cleaning (based on how dirty our chimeny was) - 1 cord, or 3 face cord (a lot of wood!). They also checked the catch in the basement, and said we have a long way to go before we need to clean that out. Overall, Brian and Josh were very informative and helpful, and our chimney looks great. Burning wood in it now is much easier (thanks to the new cap). We're keeping track of what we burn and look forward to a follow-up reminder in 2017! :)

Very well. Great job on the cleaning and keeping the house clean...helped problem solved on the reason for the fireplace smoking so much. One young man came back on his own time to help problem solve and I wish I remembered his name...he was great. I believe his name was Abraham. I'm so sorry I can't remember.

The main day most of the work was done took them about 5 hours but the chimney is in great shape. The only mishap was an incorrect address for mailing our down payment. This delayed the work getting done.
