J & S Carpet Cleaning

They set up an appointment for three days later and were right on time. They worked for an hour and a half and were very courteous and polite. We were very satisfied.

The owner, Doug Pike, was very thorough in telling me what system he used and how he would do this. I was very comfortable before this service began and I felt that it would be done well. Two technicians did this work. The carpet looks great! I would use them again in the future.

The guys arrived on time and were very polite and courteous. They wore shoe covers in the house at all times. They inspected the area to be cleaned and tried to determine what most of the stains were. I was informed of what type of action would be taken to try to remove the stains. The entire process took about 1/2 hour. After the cleaning was completed we inspected the area together and everything looked great. As the carpet and stairs dried however some of the stains came back, especially on the stairs. I called the company a couple of days later to let them know (they have a 10 day guarantee). I was told that sometimes stains wick up from the carpet pad, and this may explain the problem. We set up a time for them to come back. The stained areas were re-cleaned, rinsed and dried as quickly as possible. Both the stairs and the main carpeted area now look great - almost as good as new!

Our house is small, the traffic pattern is such that our carpets get a LOT of use. J & S has always been able to get the carpets looking like new. Their men are polite and respect our belongings.

I cannot tell you how wonderful they are! I am a very picky house cleaner, and they are the best! When there was a mistake, they stood by it! I appreciate that they stand behind their work!

They are good. They came when they said they would and fit me in at short notice. They were professional and friendly. Their prices are not bad. I called them back in as they were packing up to redo a couple of things and they came back in and did them.

We were moving and hadn't had our rug cleaned for at least 10 years. It had no stains, but we knew it was dust-filled. After checking Angie's List, I called for estimates and to find out if a carpet cleaning service would pick-up and deliver. J & S said they would for $25 each way. I was apprehensive to have the rug cleaned as it was very expensive and I really didn't know of any cleaners who specialized in Oriental carpets. I saw one review on Angie's List for J & S which mentioned an Oriental rug. The fellow delivering the rug was very helpful placing the rug and helped to position it where we wanted it. We were given a 10% discount because of Angie's List. Wasn't expecting it.

It was excellent I spoke to a lady named Wendy. They were very prompt and they made it so they could get it done right away. They were courteous and very careful with our things. They kept asking if there was any problems.

I was very pleased. The rug looks beautiful, the carpeting is very clean (I didn't realize how dirty it was). The same is also true of the drapes. The bathroom floor tile is very old, so the grout is dark because of age, however the kitchen floor looks like new again.

Carpet was vacuumed first, then pre-treated for stains. Finally, all parts were thoroughly steam cleaned.

J & S (a company with which I have dealt previously) cleaned the carpets. They look fabulous. They were prompt, courteous, professional and professionally dressed. All fees were fully explained. Additional options were offered along with pricing but were not pushed on me. All warranties were explained. They also were very careful to explain possible problems with stain removal before they started the cleaning process. The job was completed within the 2 hours they proposed for the job. All equipment and clean up was performed well. Instructions were clearly given on what to do/not do until the carpets dried.

A very successful job. We'll use them again in the future.

One of the most professional companies I ever had to clean my carpets! Got stains out that four or five other companies could not get out thru the years. I would recommend them to everyone. Came out within a few days of my call, and gave me time I requested.

The estimator was helpful and efficient on the phone but misquoted me. She did not include a room that I had asked to be cleaned. I was please at how quickly they were able to come to my home. The service men were courteous and professional. They did a nice job with the carpet cleaning. A few days later, a few spots came back, but I am told that is common with 6-year old carpeting. Overall I was pleased with their service and their pricing was fair. I would call them again, but I would be certain to verify one last time the scope of the job.

We were very pleased. This company got stains out of my carpets that other great companies did not. They also cleaned a couple stains in other rooms as a courtesy and did not charge us. They moved all the furniture for complete cleaning, or give a discount if you just want the traffic patterns cleaned. The carpets were not over-saturated and looked great. I have tried several carpet cleaner companies, and so far this one is the best by far!

They removed the blueberry stains that covered an entire room. This stain occurred from our cat dragging a bag of blueberries on the carpet that had proceeded to melt. They were very professional and did a great job.

THIS COMPANY USES THEIR OWN WATER FROM THEIR TRUCKS TO CLEAN AND THEY ALSO HOSE BACK THE DIRTY WATER TO THEIR TRUCK SO YOUR PLUMBING SYSTEM IS NOT COMPROMISED. SINCE I LIVE IN THE COUNTRY WITH A WELL AND A SEPTIC SYSTEM, THIS WAS A NICE BONUS. THEY TAILORED THE CLEANING PROCESS TO WHAT KIND OF CARPET YOU HAVE (WOOL, BERBER, NYLON, ETC.) AND THEY ALSO LEFT A BOTTLE OF SPOT CLEANER WHICH YOU CAN HAVE REFILLED FOR FREE. I WAS SO HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK THAT I AM HIRING J & S CARPET CLEANING TO CLEAN THE CARPETS AT OUR PLACE OF BUSINESS.

THEY WERE PLEASANT ON THE PHONE, PROMPT (WITH A 30-MINUTE ''WARNING'' CALL BEFOREHAND), FAST, AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE TECHNICIAN MADE SURE THAT I UNDERSTOOD WHAT HE WAS DOING, TOOK CARE OF A FEW THINGS I FORGOT TO MENTION (INSIDE CLOSETS), AND CAREFULLY EXPLAINED WHAT I NEEDED TO DO AFTER HE LEFT.

TONY, THE CONTACT PERSON AT THE COMPANY, IS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. HE HAD SEVERAL HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS FOR ADDITIONAL THINGS WE COULD DO TO MINIMIZE THE CAT URINE SMELL IN THE ROOM. THEY WERE ABLE TO DO THIS WORK ON SHORT NOTICE WITH A FAIRLY RAPID TURNAROUND.
