Description of Work: We called & left a message on a Sunday evening because we saw them on Angie's List. Need a lawn treatment that is safe for our dogs immediately, not 2 days later. Received a call back from them & they spoke to my husband. Whoever called back seemed too busy to care about our concerns for safe treatment due to our dogs. Might be ok for someone without pets. We will not call back.

Description of Work: I've used them independently of Angie's List for approximately 5 - 7 years. They are responsive, responsible and a pleasure to work with. I send them a check at the beginning of the season and it's done. I can't remember the cost and don't have a basis of comparison.

Description of Work: Keyman Lawn Care is a wonderful full-service lawn care service, and have been very happy with their service. Their price is somewhat higher than a couple other services we checked, but they also seem to use better supplies, like time released fertilizer for example. And they offer free visits between applications if you need them for any reason. Another plus is that they are "local," not part of a national chain that puts more emphasis on marketing rather than service. Would highly recommend that you get an estimate from Keyman the next time you are looking for someone to care for your lawn.

+ 0 moreI may use them this year. They were a little bit more expensive than the previous company I had used. Their estimate was about $234.00. The guy called yesterday. They came out to the house last week and then he called for a follow-up yesterday. I only talked to the guy on the phone call. They did the estimate and left it at the house. I only talked to him once. They seemed very professional and competent. They freely admitted that they are not the cheapest. They are in the middle; they are not the most expensive either. They claim that they use higher quality slow release fertilizers that are environmentally friendly, and that's why they cost a little more. Their material said that they offer a guarantee and they have free service calls if you need it. It's hard to grade them based on one phone call. They really haven't done any services for me. I am thinking of using them. They sounded great on the phone. Their price was a little high. They came out right away and they were there when they said they were going to be. They were very professional.
Description of Work: Keyman Lawn Care gave me an estimate for a 5-step lawn care process that included fertilizer and weed control.

+ 0 moreRepresentative Lou arrived at the appointed time, took measuremnts, discussed clearly and in detail what services would be needed and that Keyman would be able to provide them, and would deliver a precise estimate soon. I then asked him if he could give me a rough estimate, as neighbors would be involved in the decision of when and if the work would be done, and Lou obliged me, including calling those who wouild do the work and describing the situation to them. He was able to give me a number that would help me give my neighbors an idea of what we would be needing. I will update on Angie's list as this process unfolds, but so far I am very satisfied with level of service that has been provided during the first phase of this project.
Description of Work: This was for an estimate for lawn repair work needed due to damage caused by street repairs, and the representative was very informative and worked to give me a rough estimate on the spot and gave me contact information for more a more precise estimate, and that contact got back to me soon after I called and set up a convenient time for that appointment.

After discussing options, I elected to have them provide de-thatching for my lawn, which was the most thorough I've ever seen. I have decided to have them provide 5-step fertilizer, core aeration, grub control, pest control and other services for the entire season.

Description of Work: Last time Keyman came, they put down some fertilizer and weed control. On the initial visit they do a full-scale treatment on the lawn and they irate the lawn.

+ -1 moreKeyman promptly returned my call for an estimate and then came within 2 days. They walked the site with me, took measurements, and provided a written quote before leaving. The work was performed within the week, and they have been responsive to my questions and concerns. The first treatment seems to be working as described, and we are scheduled for the next treatment. So far, so good -- as opposed to two other firms that never even returned my call.
Description of Work: Aeration, early spring dry granular fertilization, broadleaf weed control, and mole control.
