Went very well. They were very responsive and did a great job. I wasn't able to be home during the estimate or the work, so we communicated via email and phone. I was very pleased at the results and recommend!

I was satisfied with all parts of the deal. The next time I need gutter work done, this is the company that I'll call.

They said the work would take 3-4 hours, but they did it in an hour and a half. They left a bunch of gunk and left one gutter completely clogged.

The technician seemed distracted. He spent most of the time trying to sell me new gutters and a new metal roof.

From my first contact (which was initiated by Guttersmiths in one day in response to my purchase of the coupon on Angie's List) through the initial inspection, final bid, agreement on work date and the work itself, the process moved along flawlessly. All that needs to happen now is for leaves and rain to fall to see if the mesh applied over the gutters really works!

There were problems with all three of the gutters that were rehung. One sagged to the middle and on the second connection to the downspout was crimped so no water would run down it. The third one was hung completely incorrectly with the water running away from the downspout. It rained right after they finished and all three of were overflowing over the side. It's obvious that they never tested their work. We contacted the general contractor who had subcontracted to Guttersmith and they did come out quickly to correct the problem and the gutters now work properly. However, nobody from Guttersmith said anything to us about being sorry that the work was done incorrectly. This was not an inexpensive vendor and I expected good workmanship and customer service. I got neither.

Through an Angie's List deal I had my roof inspected. We bought the house about 4 years ago, and had information from the previous owner that the roof had been fully replaced a few years before we bought it. Being a two story house on a small urban lot, it's hard to see the roof very well, and I don't have a ladder long enough to go up, so I went with the deal to make sure the roof was in good shape. I also asked him to look at the chimney cap, as a previous contractor had caused some issues. He inspected the roof, and said everything looked good, and promised pictures of the inspection and a quote on the chimney soon. I got pictures of the chimney and the quote within a few days. I am having them come and clean my gutters, and will be considering them for gutter and roof work in the future.

John visited our house, took a look at what needed to be done and told us when he would arrive to do the work, how long the work would take, and if necessary, complete work over the weekend if there were still things left undone. I told John that weekend work was not required and coming back on Monday to complete any outstanding work was fine with me. He arrived when he said he would. While he was installing the gutter guards, he asked if we had problems with overflow, which we did. He suggested that installing gutter guards might solve the problem, but the narrow-ness of our current downspouts was also likely a problem. I asked for quote for the additional work and time frame. The quote provided was very reasonable and did not add a lot of time to complete. John is very knowledgeable about roofs and gutters. We had a couple of interesting conversations, when he returned to complete the work on Saturday as he said he would, about copper roofs, slate, and asphalt shingles. He has a genuine dedication to his craft, which is evident in the quality of his work and his professional demeanor. The gutter guards work fine, but I did see many more icicles last year than in the past. I will be keeping an eye out this winter for a re-occurence of the problem. John and Guttersmiths get my highest recommendation.

John and Mike at Guttersmits are some of the best contractors we have worked with on our projet. The craftsmanship, and work ethic are the best we have seen. We met with them earlier this year to discuss the scope of the project. John had the bid out on time, and complete. The work was completed as scheduled, work site was clean during work and after completion. They made excellent recommendations during the project and our home looks amazing! If you are looking for the best gutter craftsmen in the State use Guttersmiths!!

John gave the estimate, a crew of two guys came and did the work. We were home and got to make a couple of choices about placement and angle of spouts away from the house. Both choices of which I changed my mind about after the crew left. When John came to finish picking up materials, I told him what happened and that I didn't like how the spouts were positioned and could they be moved. John fixed them on the spot and no change in the price. It took John another 10-15 minutes to make me happy with the placement and angle. No problem for John. The cost was higher than the $150 for one downspout work we had done earlier in the year at another house by another company. But, we did have some special issues at this house and a longer run from the top of a two story house with high ceilings on both floors. Thanks John for the great service.

The service was easy to schedule and was completed quickly. The downspout that we had replaced was put on in a way other than we had requested, and we had to schedule a time for rework. The leaf guards are of a good quality and are working well. Update: They did come fix the downspout promptly and it continues to work well.

I appreciated the fact that they were willing to come out late in the afternoon after their regular work day so I didn't have to leave work early to meet them here. The fellow that came to do the work was prompt, courteous and personable. He took time to ask if I had any specific concerns or questions and then went to work. He probably spent 30 minute on the roof to complete the inspection and caulking. He identified 2 small issues, one of which he corrected on the spot with a different sealing compound. The second issue he would have also corrected if only I'd had a left over shingle. He did explain to me how the repair should be done and I was able to complete the patch job myself once I found a matching shingle. Overall I was very pleased with the service. The only minor thing is no written documentation of the inspection was offered or sent out later.

The owner quickly called when we purchased a deal. He came and performed the cleaning, even tightening up some loose gutters. We will definitely use him again when the services are required.

Called for estimate and received one promptly. They came down in price to match another estimate we had. Showed up as scheduled and completed work in appropriate timeframe. Only drawback was that they never really billed us. After several weeks we just sent them our payment, but they never actually billed us.

The initial contact went well, although after John emailed me an estimate, he didn't respond to my emailed reply. It seems to be best to contact him by phone. It took me some time to get around to contacting him again, but I was impressed that he remembered the estimate and the job and came out within a few days to do the work. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and John and his coworker were very polite. The downspout looks great!

It all went very well. They were fair, reasonable, did what they said they would, when they said they would do it. They were a little flexible on price, too. And it was all done well. They also removed all the old butter stuff and got rid of it for us. They came to do an estimate., gave us an estimate, then after we dickered a little, we agreed on when they would do the work. They came just when they said they would ,and were very professional. The work all seems to be nicely done, and I have no complaints at all about their work.

Very good response and quality service. Guttersmiths were able to get everything done in a short period of time. I went and check their work after a few storms (and throughout the winter) everything works great. Definitely worth having them do the work (instead of me climbing up and trying to straighten out the gutters and reseal them)!

John was quick to respond to my request for gutter cleaning on a just-purchased house. He explained that it could be a problem since temperatures have now dropped below freezing. We agreed that he would go out and do an estimate, and if the price was within reason he could just do the cleaning right then and there. He managed to work the cleaning into his schedule within two days, and did a great job (so far as I can tell); the gutters were really overdue for a cleaning. He also alerted me to rotten wood on the chimney casing that had been covered up by accumulated debris, and gave a clear description of where it was and the extent. He tried to take pictures, but it had gotten dark by the time he got to that part and could not get useful ones. I will have no hesitation using Guttersmiths of Wisconsin next season.

I got their name from Angie's List and they are awesome. They have done work for me off and on because I have some real estate in Wisconsin. John communicates with me by telephone and e-mail and sends the bills by e-mail because that is easier for me. He is really responsive and I can text him and he is right here. He is very punctual and very good about taking pictures. I have recommended them to others. The previous company that did the gutters had mis-angled them and this was causing leaking problems inside the house, and it dumped water next to the foundation and cause all kinds of problems. Our roof is really huge and he did a really fine job. I was very happy with him. It is very inexpensive when he goes up on the roof to do repairs and I am very satisfied with that. He is extremely honest and always says what he thinks it is going to cost. He sometimes takes a picture while he is on the roof and sends it to me to show what is going on. He is awesome. He is actually an artist and does international art shows and stuff like that when he can. He is a very interesting and nice person and I am very happy with his work. He is not a gouger and is really an honest and fair person. It is hard to find people like that.

He was very quick to respond to email inquiries. His pricing was competitive. The crew arrived at the time promised and finished timely. The gutters look much better than what we had before. His company is very easy to work with.

I called 4 of the top rated gutter repair specialists listed on Angie's List to request bids. John was the first to respond (within 24 hours) and came out the next day to inspect the gutters and provide his estimate. John's bid was competitive with the others, so I scheduled the work to be done. I liked the fact he offered different choices in terms of type and quality of materials. I accepted his suggestion to install larger downspouts. The work crew of 3 installers finished the job in 2 days, as promised. They were professional and cleaned up everything before leaving. Would definitely use them again if there be a need in the future.

John was getting married when I called so needed to postpone for understandable reasons. . He can to do the estimate and was very professional , friendly, honest and easy to talk to. He gave a complete explanation of what he was going to do and recommended several improvements. From the initial conversation you can tell that John is committed to excellence and a sincere solid individual. The day they came to do the work, I was at work. When I came home I couldn't tell except for new gutters they had been there-excellent cleanup. I am pleased with the work and would definitely recommend John to anyone looking for excellent products and service. If there was an A+++ rating I would given this rating to guttersmiths.

They were punctual, professional, and courteous. Showed up when they said they would. A very good experience at a very competitive price. If I need more work done, they will be at the top of my list.

If there were a Triple A rating for companies, we would give it to Guttersmith's. The service was outstanding It was all good - here are some of the high points: Timeliness, professionalism, and consideration for those living here throughout; Good advice from the outset (when I was securing bids) on best practices, provider selection criteria, problem solving, issue resolution; Very sharp end product; Smooth delivery was enhanced by involving us in decisionmaking on options for diverting water, selecting colors; Fixed some other small issues for us; Showed up on time, communicated well, worked quickly, and cleaned up. We could not be more pleased.

John came out as scheduled for an estimate, which I thought was reasonable one. He also gave me suggestions on how to improve on my current gutter placement. His worker arrived as scheduled and took two days to do the work, which is what John told me it would take. The worker also removed wasp nests along the roof line and fixed some loose shingles. I knew I had terrible gutters badly installed, but not until he took them down did I know how bad it was. I love my replaced gutters. They are so much better than my old ones. I love that the are installed professionally. I love the fact that they drain properly. I also like the fact that he was willing to work with me on a payment schedule. I will be hiring John and Guttersmiths again. This time to replace the garage roof shingles.
