Cardinal Heating & Air Conditioning

It was part of our building package. I'd give Cardinal Heating & A/C an A no matter what.

The service tech called about 25 minutes before he arrived, as promised. He quickly determined that the blower motor needed to be replaced. It took less than an hour before we had heat again. The labor charge was only $95 for a same-day service call.

They came on a Saturday. My interaction with them was good. The work turned out excellent. They were very good.

Needed to get the A/C replaced quickly due to unplanned failure and an upcoming family gathering. They did a great job informing me of the steps, explaining my options, following up on questions, and a quality install of the equipment. Everyone I had contact with was friendly and helpful.

Cardinal was our servicer, because Universal Home Protection sent them. The technicians were punctual (one came very quickly at 10pm on a Saturday night when the overflow valve was leaking). Each of them had a tidy and professional appearance. They were friendly and took the time to answer questions and thoroughly explain what they were doing. I felt that they wanted to get the job done right, but not try to slip anything past us. I am very happy with the work they did. Our radiator system is silent now (rather than sounding like a bubbling stream every time it runs) and it runs efficiently. We even had other questions about our heating system and the technician took the time to answer these questions.

We did not have the service performed, based on a final choice between Cardinal and another excellent contractor.

I have referred many clients to them because of the professionalism, fairness and honesty. They do excellent work and stand behind it. They know have a plumber on site which I will use when the need comes. Cardinal Heating thank you for all your hard work in meeting my time frames as I know most of them are with short notice.

I had a furnace not starting up in one of my properties in Columbus. Called Cardinal Heating. They replaced the thermostat and check for safe operation. They were responsive and reasonable. I would call them again if needed.

Service technician arrived within specified window of time. He took the furnace apart, cleaned parts, put back together, and ran tests. Everything took about an hour.

Excellent service was provided at a reasonable rate and in a very timely manner. The technicians were extremely knowledgeable. They were punctual and courteous.

They seem to be great. They have been really responsive for everything we ask them for.

Neil came out on Thursday to check out old water heater which I already presumed needed to be replaced. It wasn't a catastrophic failure of my old water heater so the install was scheduled for a week later (today). Neil and another gentleman came out and had the new water heater in and running in less than an hour, gave me a general overview and left in a punctual manner. My particular install was a (lucky for me) home warranty replacement but I would definitely give them first dibs on future projects.

Highly professional, thorough - and extremely caring. Great staff. We would recommend Cardinal to anyone - and have to our family and friends.

Although the project is not quite complete, I wanted to contribute my review. When planning the construction of a new home, I interviewed a number of hvac contractors. I chose Cardinal because they offered the best, most comprehensive overview of the system that would work best for me. Were they the cheapest? No, but they had the best comprehensive approach,and offered the best options, which included a solar component that would qualify me for a large energy tax credit on the entire heating installation, which will ultimately save me thousands of dollars. No other company looked at the big picture in that way. They have solid experience in both conventional and solar applications and know how to blend the two for the optimal system. I've intereacted with Craig and Keith on numerous occasions and they are always very friendly and willing to stop by to explain things if I have questions, despite being as busy as they are. They are by far the most responsive contractor that I've dealt with, promptly answering any phone calls or emails. That is almost as important as pricing as far as I'm concerned. (Anyone who has done their own general contracting will understand). I give them the highest rating and would recommend them to anyone, regardless of the scope of your project.

All contact with both office staff and installers, both in person and on the phone dwas handled promptly and professionally. Everyone was very curtious. The assistance with financing was extremely helpful!

They are very thorough and are very knowledgeable. They don’t seem to want to overcharge you for things that you don’t need. I really trust their recommendations.

I used them once in June. It wasn’t an urgent matter but they sent somebody out within a couple of hours. They took care of it efficiently. In December, they cleaned out the furnace. They were also able to answer some questions for me, about our system.

I was very satisfied with their work and am very happy with them. They were timely and they came out very quickly. I will use them again in the future.

He got it up and running in now time. I have always had a great experience with them.

Cardinal was on time to inspect and gave us an estimate the following day. I asked several questions and received their answers very quickly, in a professional manner. I signed their contract and scheduled October 17, 2011, for installation. My salesman and his assistant arrived at 7:30 AM, removed the old boiler and installed the new one. Little did I know, that my salesman was also a very well trained and excellent technical Installer! When his assistant was working on the boiler exhaust pipe, he noticed that a bathroom ceiling fan was not attached properly to the outside vent and repaired it. That extra effort was very appreciated and puts them top on my list! In total, it was a job well done! Thank you!

It went perfectly. They had an appropriate furnace in stock. They brought it over, removed our old one and set up the new one. I would recommend them without hesitation. They are very knowledgeable and professional.

They are prompt and I would recommend them. They called and reminded me that it was time for spring check up. They were very willing to work with my schedule.

We have an annual maintenance agreement with Cardinal. From what we can tell, they are able to give us the best price for the services. He was a quiet guy but he was courteous and professional. They are coming back in December to do the check again.

They were excellent. I rate them high overall. The work they did was on a weekend, and it was pre planned. They had to do a lot of things in a short period of time. They were here for about 8 hours and they finished the work. We have had them do some other repairs as well. They are very professional.
