Jim's Tree Service has been great to deal with. I first hired them on the recommendation of a neighbor. They have fair prices and do the job efficiently and safely. They clean up well when the job is done. On one of our earlier tree trimming calls, they actually cleaned out my gutter as an extra while they were up in the cherry picker. This really sold me on their service. They were the only service I considered when it was time to take down the tree that was becoming increasingly dangerous to our house. Their team shows up on time and stays on task until the job is done.

Company questioned my choice of pruning but did follow through as I oprdered. The work was done to my satisfaction despite the fact that arborists do not feel this is a proper way to prune. I have used this tree service for a number of years for several trees and I would recommend their service to my best friends .

They were great. Quick turn around after the initial call. The two-person crew was efficient, polite, and did a very nice job cleaning up. I would definitely use them again.

Jim and his crew were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. This was the first time we'd used them and we have nothing but good things to say about them. We weren't the easiest customers as we changed the parameters of the project a couple of times after the project began. They were very gracious about it and seemed perfectly happy to work with us.

Work was performed in Aug. 07. Crew of 3 arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Climbing was utilized for the basswood and boom truck for the ash. Plywood was laid to prevent damage to the lawn by truck tires. Some work with the ash required rigging to prevent branch fall into the roof. They did a good job and the roof was never touched. Some turf was disturbed by branch fall, but none that I would deem excessive or irreparable. Cut branches were chopped on site, including some additional branches from personal trimming they chopped at no additional charge. They did a good job cleaning up, but I did spend and additional 30 minutes cleaning up less than 10 gallons of small twigs. Overall, very good.

They did an excellent job. They were careful. They were very professional. I felt the price was very reasonable as the tree is very old, very tall and large. They had to remove some very large branches that were hanging way over our home. The men discussed their plan when they arrived and they did not touch our roof one time which amazed me. They knew exactly what they were doing. They had enough manpower and worked efficiently. They cleaned up everything before they left. And they were polite. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

He was very honest with us about the price and the situation about how far he had to come to do the work. We tried to negotiate with him by telling him to just cut the trees down and we would take care of the rest, but that did not lower his price at all. We decided not to go with him because he was not in the area and it was going to be way too expensive to use him. He even told us to try to find a company that was closer.

The crew were careful and efficient. They were also polite and helpful. Some of the trees were in a tricky spot between a phone line and a garage, and they handled those very well. They also cleaned up all the debris. On the way here, the trucks were stuck in traffic, and they called to let us know they were running late. Very considerate. There was one additional tree, not in the original estimate, that we decided we also wanted cut down. Since it was a straightforward and quick one, they did it for no additional charge.

Very professional and they gave the best prices by far compared to other estimates.
