B & K Contractors

This is the second project we've used B&K for and we could not be happier. Bahram is professional and meticulous. He doesn't allow even small mistakes or shortcuts to slip by, and holds all his employees to a high standard. He hires wonderful people and I think that says a lot about him. Unlike most of the other professionals we've worked with, he's also great at communicating what the plan is and what time his crew will arrive. We had 4 quotes to convert our smallest guest room to a bathroom and B&K came in the lowest. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

It went great. B&K contractors were always on time, on schedule for time frames, but most importantly ON BUDGET! I would highly recommend them for any size project.

They worked fast. Barham was very friendly, professional and accommodating. I would recommend him to anyone!

We are very happy with our new kitchen. The cabinetry was delayed several weeks through no fault of Bahram, but all in all the process was pleasant. Note: The cost of service did not include the new appliances or ceiling fan.

Excellent close working relationship. Respectful and protective of on-going daily daycare program right outside work area. Good daily clean up. Thoughtful off-hours scheduling of noisy work and of hauling new materials or trash through occupied space. Immediate contact when encountering unexpected conditions. Responsive to changes. Overall quality of work matched existing classrooms and inevitable awkward junctions were blended in well with adjacent construction. Having Bahram personally involved from start to finish greatly helped communication and continuity. The fact that he provided all electrical, mechanical and plumbing work made everything go smoothly, even the inevitable little delays that plague all jobs. I recommend B&K highly. Bahram is a joy to work with.

They did not show up for either appointment, called and cancelled for the first and did not call at all for second.

Bahram and his team worked efficiently and were patient with us since it was our first remodel in our first home. He let us make the decisions but was honest when we picked items that didn't work for the job. We uncovered several surprises during the bathroom remodel and Bahram worked with us and keep us within our budget for the bathroom. He also help replace the sill on two sides of our house that were tipped in and causing water damage. We would definitely use B&K again.

They did some work for my business; Armon's Catering on 2009. A complete remodeling of the commercial kitchen, a $32K contract. I was very happy with them, their pricing is very competitive and they do good work. It was interesting for me to see that the same employees who worked for him on 2009 , still employed! This fact also made me feel more comfortable to work with him. Bahram is an informed and honest person who provide you good work and lots of good advices. I found his price very reasonable , with a high quality of workmanship. For those of you who have had bad experiences with contractors, try B & K, you'll be glad that you did!

Bahram from B&K was awesome! I loved that he kept me updated on our progress continually - in fact, he would call me with updates/progress before I called him. The project came in at budget and in the time frame we discussed. His employees were polite, courteous, and always on time. I would absolutely recommend B&K Contactors for any project you have. I used them when I was in Chicago-I no longer reside there. Their pricing was fair and there were no issues. When they said they were going to be there, they were there. The work was done politely on time. They had zero issues- none whatsoever. They did a pretty good job.

Called for a quote on a small roof repair, contractor stated over the phone that he was too busy to even come and look at it. I thanked him for his time but am disappointed that I didn't even merit a short visit. We are neighbors in South Milwaukee, WI.

I had this contractor do work for me twice before. (The first time, in 2005 he built a garage, built a retaining wall, built me a mud room, ran city water and put in a cement driveway and the the second time in 2008 he roofed my home and added two tub lights) Everything he did was great. However, I developed a leak in my roof by one of the tube lights I had put in 6 and a half years ago, at the same time they did my roof. B & K Contractors came out and looked at it and Im not sure what caused this issue, but they repaired it for free. To me this is great customer service as 6 and a half years later it shouldn't have been their responsibility to repair it for nothing, but they did. GREAT SERVICE AS ALWAYS FROM THIS CONTRACTOR. The repairs went very well, were done efficiently, on time and as discussed.

I used B&K for a complete bathroom remodel last year, and called Bahram again for this smaller job on a second bathroom. He sent one of his subs, Marius, to do the work, though he did arrive with him to introduce us and talk over the job and then came back when Marius was finished to check everything out and make sure we were happy. The vanity is situated between two walls, which are not square with the back wall, so it was a difficult job getting everything to fit -- in fact the countertop we were replacing had gaps between it and the walls. Marius did a great job of making it as square as possible, even recessing one side of the backsplash into the drywall, and carefully cutting the countertop at angles to make it fit along the sides. He also offered to add shutoff valves under the sink when he discovered we didn't have them and would have to have the water turned off in the whole house all day while he did the work. He did this at no extra labor charge. Marius is friendly and professional and worked quickly. My only complaints were that he used white caulk around the countertop edges instead of the color-matched caulk it came with and he left some sawdust for me to vacuum up. All in all, we are happy with the work and thrilled with the updated look of our bathroom.

I've hired B&K Contractors several times now because I am always pleased with the outcome. Not only is Bahram easy to work with but so is his staff. Everyone is very professional. My backyard was an overgrown mess until I had them put in stamped concrete along with an outdoor fireplace. It looks beautiful.

I cannot say enough about Bahram - as a professional, he is spot on... mindful of the budget and the scope of work to be done and always looking to get the most quality product/material that the budget will allow rather than trying to skimp out. He truly believes that a job well done is done right, without cutting corners or deceiving those who might not know better. He is respectful as are his workers. As a person, Bahram is one of the kindest and most compassionate people we have met. We consider him family, and we won't start another project without first running it by him. We purchased an older home in a historic neighborhood in downtown Milwaukee. However, we were still living 4 hours north of here when we started the renovation on the home. I cannot tell you the peace of mind we had knowing that Bahram was taking care of the project for us. Not only did he oversee the parts he was working on, but he often volunteered to meet with others we contracted with (chimney repair/removal as an example) so that we would not have to make the 8 hour round trip. As is the case with most old home renovations, there were issues that were uncovered as walls were torn down or chimneys removed. However, Bahram always had an alternative solution for us and would patiently talk through the project with us until a solution could be found or agreed upon. Due to some of the additional issues that were uncovered, and the weather, the project ran longer than the original completion date, however, we showed up anyways willing to live through the construction and Bahram did everything he could to move things along as fast as possible without inconveniencing us at all. Communication was NEVER an issue. Bahram returned our calls from day one - often calling us first thing each day to let us know of the progress or delays. As the project progressed, if I found something I liked (stove vent hood or bathroom vanity) I would simply email Bahram the link and he'd make it happen. For us, the biggest "come away" from this entire remodel is that never once did we feel cheated, pinned in, or otherwise trapped into agreeing to higher expenses. We felt Bahram always had our best interest in mind. I remember clearly once he said, "I am not looking to get rich. Sure, I want to provide an income for my family, but I also want to be able to look them in the eyes, knowing where and how I came by that income." It wasn't just a statement made to comfort or assure me. It was a statement which showed his deep respect for his family as well as his customers and a true insight into the kind of man Bahram is. [Because I was not able to put the project date range in, I elected to put in the date of last contact. The project went from approximately some time in April 2013 thru end of August 2013.]

Bahram and his team revived a concrete block garage that was in such disrepair, it was close to colapsing. Many people thought it should simply be knocked down. After a concerned warning by Bahram himself, he agreed to try to mend the structure as best as he could. To my astonishment, when I saw the garage upon completion it did'nt look like the same garage. Not only has the structural integrity been restored, but cosmetically the tuckpointing work is amazing. Just can't believe how great it looks

it did not go at all. owner called to let me know that he would no longer be doing the work - at the last minute!

Bahram is professional, courteous, honest, and can be counted on for any type of general construction job. I have used him for many years and he is consistently reasonably priced, keeps me informed every step of the way, and finishes jobs on time. He almost always answers his cell phone and if he cannot he is very prompt in returning my calls. In addition to using him for my own work, I have also sent him to many of my clients to do projects for them. Here is what one of my clients had to say about Bahram and B&K Contractors: "I have figured out why you like Bahram so much. He is very sharp, thorough, honest and reasonable. He figured out how our prior plumber messed up and told me how to fix the problem myself so we wouldn't have to pay his plumber to do it. How many contractors would do that instead of having dollar signs in their eyes?" I couldn't have said it better myself! If you have a remodeling project coming up I strongly recommend you give B&K Contractors the opportunity to complete it for you. You will not be disappointed.
