My overall experience was positive. Kevin responded to my call for a quote promptly and provided an estimate just as quickly. The work was scheduled for the week after. Kevin showed up the first day with the plumber who would be performing the work. I asked that the plumber arrive before I needed to leave for work so that I didn't have to leave the door open and he did. During the process the plumber experienced an unexpected glitch (I wasn't getting hot water), but took the necessary steps to fix it ASAP, even bringing in another plumber from the company to resolve it. The Schoofs team was very professional, easy to work with and genuinely good people.

I have used Schoofs before and Kevin is very professional. He calls when he says he will call, he shows up when he says he will be there. In this case, the apartment was still occupied so time was of the essence in getting this bathroom up and running. Kevin held a pre-work meeting with his plumbers, carpenters and myself at the apartment to make sure we were all aligned. When they began work, they went at it hard and had the bathroom "functional" within a couple of days. Within a week or so they had everything complete, shower door, drywall joints sanded, everything. Although I think the price was a bit high, for me it was worth the cost not to have the project drag out and to know the level of quality would be first rate, which it was. I will certainly use Schoofs in the future.

They were great, they are on time, they are responsive, we always get our moneys worth. If he finishes in less than an hour they will ask for additional work, they are very professional. They had to come back once and had to replace a faucet and they didn't charge us extra. They only charged us for a little under two hours and they were here for a lot longer than that.

Kevin Schoofs responded promptly, assessed the situation and gave me an estimate within a day or two. Work was completed as scheduled for the price he quoted.

I called Shoofs and the phone ran for a long time before someone picked up. I didn't get the name of the gentleman that took the call, but I told him what I needed. He told me they would charge me $148 for the 1st hour and then bill on the 1/4 hour at $24 per hour. I asked if they could come out the next day and he said that would not be a problem. He told me that Frank would call between 8:30 and 9:30. Frank called about 9:30 and arrived within 15 minutes. He replaced the pump on the toilet very quickly. He replaced the plumbing on the laundry tub and replaced a leaking pipe on the hot water heater. He was really nice and did not waste time working. We would definitely use them again. Thank you Schoofs! I have not received the bill yet so my price is an estimate.

He was really helpful and felt bad that it only took him 5 minutes to repair even though he would have to charge me the minimum hour, so he walked around my house with me to give me an idea of how much future major work would cost - and in the end, only charged me for a quarter of an hour of service.

HE WAS ON TIME, PATIENT, AND DISCUSSED WHAT HE WAS DOING BEFORE HE DID IT AND WAS FRIENDLY. HE DID A GOOD JOB. I WOULD CALL HIM BACK.

THEY CAULKED THE FIRST VISIT AND CAME BACK WHEN THE ISSUE RECURRED. THEY CAME BACK RIGHT AWAY. AFTER I CALLED WHEN THEY BILLED FOR TWO TRIP CHARGES, THEY CREDITED $100 RIGHT AWAY. I APPRECIATED THAT THEY WERE WILLING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE SO QUICKLY.

BOB WAS SUCH A NICE GUY AND HE PUT A LOT OF WORK AND EFFORT INTO GETTING THE JOB DONE BEAUTIFULLY. IT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. THE COST WAS VERY REASONABLE. HE REALLY WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS DONE CORRECTLY.

PROFESSIONAL, TIMELY, FRIENDLY AND CLEAN. THEY DID GREAT WORK AND HAD GOOD SOLUTIONS FOR OUR PLUMBING NEEDS. ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS AND OFFERED TO STAY AVAILABLE FOR ANY FUTURE ADVICE THAT MAY BE NEEDED. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

THEY REPLACED OUR OLD FAUCET, WHICH THEY HAD PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED, AT NO CHARGE, BECAUSE WE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE WITH IT.

EVEN WHEN SOMETHING WENT WRONG HE WENT THE EXTRA MILE. THE WORKER BOB WAS JUST THE SWEETEST PERSON. I WOULD TELL ANYONE TO HIRE THEM. IF ALL THE WORKERS IN THE COMPANY ARE LIKE BOB THEN THE COMPANY MUST BE GREAT! HE EVEN WORKED LATE TO SEE HOW HE WAS GOING TO FINISH THIS JOB.
