We are the "Concrete Driveway Experts"!! Meaning... we specialize in ONLY the Concrete Driveway:) We have created and then fulfill for every customer a proven process; the replacement of an existing driveway (or just concreting over an existing gravel driveway) Cornerstone's Proven Process: We have four crews, each specializing and performing their specific task in the "assembly line" process. Tear out crew: With a Bobcat and dump truck will tear out the existing asphalt or concrete driveway and disposes of the material at a local re-cycling station. Set-up crew: Sets up forms, grades and compacts subsoil and ties the rebar grid together. Pouring crew: Meets our local ready mix concrete truck(s) at the site and places the fresh concrete within the forms in a professional manner. Cutting Crew: Removes forms, lays out and cuts expansion cuts and cleans up. ALL aspects of Cornerstone's process is performed with a labor force on our payroll and NOT sub-contracted. This assures Cornerstone Quality!!
"Cornerstone Concrete did a great job with my new driveway. They were very accommodating with my schedule, and were able to give me a quote and squeeze me in before the end of the year. They were also very flexible in allowing me to install some under-driveway drainage for my downspouts while they were working. There was some minor cosmetic damage that occurred during the installation, but they were quick and fair in rectifying the issue. The driveway itself looks amazing. I would definitely hire them again."

Family owned business with over 8 years of experience handling- Concrete - Pouring & Repair, Concrete - Stamped & Decorative, Driveways - Concrete- Masonry - Patios - Steps - Fire Pits
"We went with George (Jorge) for our concrete projects. We did a large back patio, small slab for our entry to our home, and a border for our plants. The quality of workmanship is absolutely terrible. It isn’t for lack of trying, every time they tried to fix the mistakes it got worse. The right thing to do would have been to redo the entire work. He is now no longer returning communication to address the issues we are left with. Unfortunately, we trusted and paid him in increments so we are now out $19,279.61. Also due to their negligence they turned off our sump pump and flooded our brand new basement addition that was completed March 2024. We had to get the carpet replaced which cost us an additional $1200. We are currently going to proceed with legal action. We definitely do not recommend them."

When you’re hiring a concrete contractor, ask as many questions up front as possible. Here are a few questions to ask a prospective concrete contractor:
Do you use stone or sand for base material?
How thick do you usually pour concrete?
How many years of experience do you have?
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Do you have worker’s compensation?
How long have you worked with your subcontractors?
How do you handle garbage and waste disposal?
Do you provide a guarantee or warranty on your work?
Do you give free estimates?
How do you handle change orders?
Can you provide at least three references?
Can I see some of the work you’ve done in photos and the actual project?
Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
Yes, concrete contractors should be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed concrete contractor could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations. States have different requirements for concrete contractor licensing, so be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification, which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Depending on the cost to repair your driveway, it may be more cost effective to tear out and replace it with a new concrete driveway. The cost to repave a driveway ranges between $1,400 and $12,100, including removal of the old concrete. Contact a reputable concrete contractor for advice and an estimate. They may have a good reason for going with repairs or replacement after assessing your driveway. You may also have the option to resurface your driveway or pave over it without taking out the existing one.
Concrete contractors typically charge anywhere from $6 to $14 per square foot. Cost factors include job size, site prep, base material, accessibility, your location, concrete finish, and concrete thickness. Removal of existing concrete, asphalt, deck, pavers, and grass will cost anywhere from $1 to $6 per square foot. Homeowners can often save money by removing and disposing of existing pavers, decks, and grass. Breaking up and hauling away concrete and asphalt is difficult and time-consuming without the proper equipment and may be worth having the pros do that work.
