Description of Work: We had our garage floor, driveway, front walk, back walk and back patio repoured. Our driveway was widened by four feet, so we needed the city inspector to approve pouring of new curbs at the apron. Also our walks were moved out from the house by another 18 inches, our patio was reconfigured, our back step to the house was reconfigured, and another parking spot was added at the back of the driveway. There were decisions to be made and JBS asked the right questions so that we made good choices. Everything is 5 inches deep and properly graded for correct drainage now. This was a big job, and JBS did it all in 2 days. They were polite, timely, responsive. Minimal damage was done to the lawn, but they had to come in with a Bobcat to haul away the old concrete. They cleaned up when they were done. It looks stunning!! The job was not cheap, but the estimate was given to us written on the spot when the estimator came to see the job. It ended up being comparable to another we received from another contractor, typed (with typos) and sent a week after that estimator visited. I liked that JBS knew their stuff enough to give an accurate estimate on the spot. We are very pleased that we chose JBS, and we have recommended them to our friends and neighbors who have been oohing and aahing over our new concrete.

Description of Work: Everything was completed exactly as I wanted. They kept me informed as work progressed. I had a sidewalk, parking slab and concrete runners along fence line. I am definitely very happy with the job.

Description of Work: Replaced entire driveway. I am withholding judgement till I see how it cures after spring 2016. There were 2 spots where the concrete was really discolored & I had the manager out to look at it & I took photos of it as well. He said they would most likely disappear after the winter season. I was also disappointed that they narrowed the driveway by approximately 8-10 inches. We didn't notice this at first so I need to discuss it with them in the Spring. I will update this report in the spring of 2016.

Description of Work: Removed old concrete garage floor and poured new concrete floor, removed blacktop driveway and replaced with concrete, and poured new sidewalk. |Entire process was professional. All phone calls and emails were returned timely when we had questions before work was done. All work was completed in one day. Numerous workmen and equipment arrived at quoted time. We spoke with several of the workmen and all were extremely professional and polite. The quote we received was higher than others we received, but everything was included with no possible last minute adders. Plus quality supplies were used. We are very happy we chose JBS.

Description of Work: Replaced garage floor and vary large T shaped driveway. The entire job was done in about 2 1/2 days. The garage floor and drive way are fabulous. The pitch of both the garage floor and driveway was difficult and all the companies that submitted bids said that was going to be the most difficult part of the job but they did an incredible job! We have now gone through rain storms and snow storms and the way the way the water drains away is great. Everyone on the crew knew what they were doing and were expert at their tasks. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Replaced full driveway, full back patio / porch, full front sidewalk and steps. Removal of all old concrete and replacement of new was completed in 2 days. Highly recommended company!

Description of Work: Poured new driveway. Prompt work and took care with neighbor's property. Was at end of season and so worked fast. A bit of dip along one side leaves puddle of water after rain, and really took out a lot of lawn and plantings. Major concern tho was cement water dumped on plantings (some on other side of lawn), blobs of cement left on grass. In short, not satisfactory clean up.

Description of Work: Had a very difficult time since last fall to get any contractors to come over to give us a bid, but JBS had given us a bid last October but told us they couldn't complete the project until spring. We called numerous times last fall to tell them we would go with their company, but no return call. Retried in February, a different person came out to give us a bid, said they would mail it to us within the week after checking with the village to find out if there were any restrictions. Once again, we never heard back from them.

Description of Work: Did a great job. Most places stated that it would take several days to remove and install a new driveway. JBS did it in 1 day.

Description of Work: They sent someone out to give me an estimate and then I never heard back from them. He seemed very disinterested in the job when he was here and it would have been nice if he would have said it was not something they wanted to take on, instead of just never getting back to me. I have had 3 other companies come in since then and have gotten written estimates from all 3 within a week. Very poor business communication. I should not have to make phone calls to track down an estimate. Very disappointed because this company has good ratings. I guess it would be ok if you had all the time in the world but I made it clear to them that we are trying to list our house and wanting to get stuff done quickly.

Description of Work: Over the phone, this company told me that they have a $2000 minimum for their jobs. No where on Angie's list or this company's website does it state that information. I wasted a week of my time trying to connect with them, only to be told this. I know what I need is under $1000 based on other estimates. Very disappointed.

Description of Work: These guys did an amazing job on my driveway and stoop. I must have gotten 6 bids and beyond being low, they were the most responsive and professional. Beyond that, every neighbor talks about how great of a job they did. I highly recommend these guys!
