JBS did a fabulous job on our stamped driveway and patios. We have had so many compliments. It all looks great and price was also very good. Great to work with. Highly recommend.

From design to construction JBS was great! Showed up on time for estimates and to start the job itself. That mark of professionalism carried over into their craftsmanship and efficiency on the job.

JBS was excellent. They communicated well, they were prompt and professional, they were even able to speed up my project! It only took 2 days to rip out our asphalt driveway and concrete sidewalk and replace with concrete. They were also able to help patch a crumbled corner when a delivery vehicle drove off the side of my new driveway :(

JBS was great to work. Was quick to answer our question and gave us exactly what we were looking for. We had 5 quotes done before this company and we became extremely frustrated. Our new driveway and patio look amazing.

JBS did a wonderful job! Every day we have a neighbor stop by to ask who did our new cement driveway. Our garage floor needed to be replaced for YEARS since it was sinking in the middle and we have always wanted to change the driveway from asphalt to cement and expand the walkway on each side. We submitted a request on Angie's List for quotes and JBS responded within an hour and came out that week to give us a quote. They removed the old garage floor and asphalt driveway in a day, along with framing in where the cement would go the following the day. The next day, another team came out and poured the cement like a "checker board". It looks amazing. If I could attach pictures to this, I would! We are planning our next cement project in the back yard with them!

I hired JBS to replace my 50 year old patio (26ft x 27ft) whcih was heaved and broken. This job was right next to an in ground pool which for most contractors contacted was a no bid. They were professional and exacting. Their crew was a mix of old and young who all knew their work and acted like it. The concrete pour was well done. The finishing work reflected their skill and attention. I am happily looking at the completed job.

Overall the job went great! Started and finished in one day! Workmanship excellent. The only disappointment was they didn't back fill to the new patio and concrete leaving me with having to order top soil. Was told they don't do this. My only suggestion, is you notify new customers of this during the quoting and estimate process. First time have concrete removed and replaced, so I did not know to ask. Other than that, fantastic job!

Work was performed and finished ahead of schedule . The Quality of work was GREAT, The work crew accomplished their tasks in a very professional manor they worked hard and fast. The whole job took about 15hrs start to finish. JOB WELL DONE. Cost was reasonable.

The laying of the concert went well. The completed job looks good. They left wide trenches along the sidewalks and patio requiring that I purchase and lay several bags of topsoil and to seed the area. They also did some damage to my lawn.

They called me after receiving my interest request. After agreeing and setting up an appointment they were a no call/ no show. Horrible professionalism. A complete waist of my time.

The most responsive and timely contractor known to man. Always courteous and professional. They had great advice on patio placement. They were honest and upfront about any all issues, although there really were no issues, per se. These same guys poured concrete at our first house almost 20 years ago and then we stumbled across them again via Angie's List this time around. Our concrete from 20 years ago held up tremendously. Other contractors we called didn't even return our phone call. They guys are very experienced and know their stuff! It was a bit pricier than we thought it would be but we had a very large project. With that said, they submitted a very competitive bid. To top it off, they worked hard and very efficiently. A job well done. I hope they were proud of their work. They should have left a sign in my yard for awhile as I would have been happy to advertise for them.

They were on time and actually finished the project in one day. They said it might be two days so we were pleasantly surprised. Did not make to much of a mess and cleaned up afterwards. It has been a little over one week now and we are VERY happy with the end result. Hopefully there will be no issues down the road but if there is, we will call them back. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a company that does smaller projects and actually shows up.

JBS did a great job, from the initial estimate process to the actual work. Crew prepped the area on a Friday afternoon, and poured the concrete the next Monday morning. Precision work on both days. Results were exactly what I wanted.

Excellent all around! The company owners and team were professional, punctual and courteous. Before they began the work they reviewed everything to ensure we were getting just what we wanted. They removed the existing asphalt driveway and surrounding landscaping, poured a landing pad and driveway and sealed it all in one day. They checked in with us before each step. They cleaned up, removed all debris when they were done. The driveway looks great and was just what we wanted. Great company!

They did a great job! work was completed in 2 days. I was was especially impressed with their flexibility when we needed to change the date on the work. They also kept us informed about when they were coming and work to be completed. I would definitely hire again.

I contacted JBS through their website in early spring (late March) and they contacted me the next day to set up an appointment (prompt = A). Arrived on time for appointment (timely =A) and spoke with me in detail what was needed, however, I was surprised that the estimator could not tell me what slump JBS uses (technical = B). Received estimate a couple of days later in the mail as promised (follow though =A). Estimate was a little pricey at $19,000 but what I was disappointed as the estimate had no specifics or details on the job, just measurements (estimate =D). I followed up on their website by sending a list of questions about the estimate that I requested be answered in writing and provided my email - received no response. Sent a second request through their website and received a voice message. I had requested specifics in writing and JBS estimator cut corners and didn't provide. The specifics of the project were needed to compare to the other contractor bids to ensure corners were not being cut AND to ensure there was a full understanding by both parties (JBS and myself) of what the job would entail. They receive an F for lack of follow through and detail. The approach seemed to be they could take the job or leave it. As a potential residential customer the job at $19,000 was a large project to me, important enough to get an understanding of the process and to understand things such as slump, PSI, what bag mix was going to be used, thickness of gravel to be put down, whether there would be any undercut, etc, etc. The reviews of this contractor on Angies were pretty good which is why I selected them, however, when I began to work with them and the lack of detail in their estimate, mediocre follow up -- overall, it left me with an uneasy impression of how they might perform their work on my project. This type of contract work (concrete) you only get one chance to do it right and I didn't want to risk it on this contractor who seemed to not care. Very disappointed. I would recommend Tom at North Shore Concrete who go above and beyond and are less expensive. There was no reason for this type of service as it was too early to be pouring concrete as the weather was too cold so being too busy was not the situation. As an Angie's List member for more than a decade I hope this contractor learns from this review and maybe future potential customers will have a better experience.

I bought a new drive and got a dry basement for free! Impressively efficient crews.

Installation went great. Job came in as estimated and we are very pleased with the results.
