ECONO Sewer And Drain

I called Econo after reading such great reviews on Angie's list. I called at around 9:30-10 in he morning and told the representative that my basement drain was backing up because there were roots in he drain. The guy said no problem and gave me an estimate of $295 to clean out two rains and unhook a toilet to get to one of the drains. They insisted on coming that morning even though I told them I had to work at 1 and I would rather schedule it for the next day but they insisted it wouldn't take long. The plumber showed up around 11-11:30 and went down to give it a look. When he came back up from downstairs he gave me two options. One as to hydro jet it at a cost of of $900 and he other as to use he cutter and go all the aye to he streets with it for $400. I asked why it was $400 and not the $295 I as told and was told it was because he would be going to the streets to make sure the pipes were cleaned thoroughly. So I thought what the **** why not. So he starts doing his stuff and of course I have to go to work so my wife takes over supervising the whole thing and hen I get back home I get an unwelcome surprise. Turns out this joker didn't go to the streets which as he hole purpose for the extra $100. It also turned out that he only cleaned one drain because he said that one of them didn't go o he treetops and just went o another drain in the basement. He also used a 3 inch cutter instead of a 6 inch. So it all these changes do you think they educed the price at all? Nope. What a bunch of Scammers this is exactly why it worth waiting for lee's or Southport or Kenosha plumbing. On top of everything his joker went around and started ripping off competitor company's stickers off my furnace and water heater. What the heck is that all about. So now I have all these half ripped off stickers all over he **** place. Wonderful. They also gave some online receipt b.s. That the link never worked on so I never even got a receipt. To sum all of the I have two words and three letters: NEVER AGAIN and B.B.B.

I called and spoke to Charley and set up an appointment on Monday, but after realizing that it was worse then I thought, changed it to the same day. Within one hour Peter was there (on a Saturday). He gave me a price for two different methods of sewer rodding. I choose the traditional rodding service. After Peter was about 125 feet in, he had to go back to the shop and get another 30 feet. After 150 feet there still was no end and we ended up going with the water treatment and camera. It was almost 300 feet to clear the blockage, but there was no overcharge. They spent many hours at my home working on the issue and did not leave until it was finished. Very professional, let me know every step of the way what was happening and the pricing is upfront and fair. I called them approximately 2 weeks before to take care of an issue at my son's home. They had Roto-rooter out who wanted $450 to clear a blockage (and that was after giving $300 in discounts). I told my son to kick them out and called Charley (due to an ad I heard on the radio). They gave upfront fair pricing on my son's house. Call Econo first, not last!

Is A++++ an option? Econo provided me a window of 12:00 - 2:00 and I asked for them to give me a 10 min heads up. The called me at 12:06 and sure enough they were there right at 10 minutes! As Pete came in I was telling him to excuse our mess as we just had new carpeting installed, he offered to take off his shoes! He was very polite and it only took him about 10 minutes to clear the clog. He then explained to me how to prevent the issue from happening again. He even gave me some possible DIY quick fixes that might help in the future. I would strongly recommend Econo Sewer & Drain to anyone.

The job was done in a very professional manner, it was completed in a timely manner and now we have a working drain. We appreciate the knowledge of the provider concerning old houses and their plumbing systems. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is having issues with their drainage system.

I called Econo at 9:00 a.m. on 1/28/16 and two hours later Pete was at my house, who was a very nice and professional young man. I had taken the trap apart and saw that the clog was in pipes beyond it behind the wall, which was too much for my DIY. Pete explained the process of fixing the problem and their pricing, which my research indicated to be reasonable. He snaked out the drain which was clogged pretty bad-having pipes that are at 90 degree angles beyond the trap didn't help. After a half hour, Pete had the drain running smoothly and cleaned up after his work. I am very satisfied.

PETE, CAME FROM ECONO SEWER AND DRAIN RIGHT ON TIME AND WAS VERY NICE TO TALK TO AND EXPLAIN WHAT WAS HAPPENING. HE THEN WENT DOWNSTAIRS TO TRY TO FIND THE PROBLEM I WAS HAVING. HE SHOWED ME EVERTHING IT COULD BE AND EXPLAINED WHAT MY OPTIONS WERE. HE ALSO SHOWED ME MY MAIN SEWER PIPE AND LET ME DECIDE WHAT I WANTED DONE. NO PRESSURE WHATS SO EVER, AND A REAL NICE GUY. WE DECIDED THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED AND THE CHARGES WERE VERY VERY REASONABLE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ECONO SEWER AND DRAIN FOR ANY PLUMBING NEED. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL , COURTEOUS, AND GREAT ON PRICE. I WILL DIFFIDENTLY CALL THEM AGAIN FOR ANY OF MY PLUMBING NEEDS.

Provider was very responsive, professional and easy to work with. Showed up on time and performed the work in a timely fashion. When clearing the drain, it was discovered a short time later that some debris had made its way into another pipe (unbeknownst to the repair man), which clogged the sink drain. I contacted the provider and they returned within less than 2 hours and fixed the problem right away. Accidents happen but the company corrected the problem right away. Very professional and friendly both me and my tenant.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Econo Sewer & Drain. First of all, whenever I called Econo, I always reached the owner (Charlie) and never an answering machine. He was extremely courteous and took the time to answer all of my questions and was able to get one of his plumbers out to our house in short order. I also asked that I be kept apprised of the approximate time the plumber would be arriving so I could make sure our large (and loud) dogs could be gated ahead of time and Charlie made sure he kept me informed their schedule. When the plumber arrived, he was very friendly and professional. He asked a few questions about what had been happening and then identified the approximate location of the clog in short order. He then set to work and was able to clean everything out in no time. After unclogging the drain, he gave me a few tips on how to ensure that it didn't get clogged again. I am very happy with the service that was provided and would not hesitate to use Econo again.

I had a horrible sewage smell in my basement the day before my dinner party. I looked for potential causes and found none. I called Econo. They shifted their schedule so they could fit me in that day. The plumber they sent found the problem, a bad battery for the sump pump, and removed it. They charged me only a nominal fee. They saved the day!

Our sewer was backing up in two areas in the basement. We called Econo Sewer and explained the problem. They said they would be out in about 2 hours. The repairman arrived in 2 hours or less. He showed us where the blockage likely was and cleaned out the sewer and we no longer have a problem. The repairman was very helpful and polite. It was nice to have the problem corrected so quickly after our phone call. I highly recommend Econo Sewer.

Arrived at the house within an hour of making a call to them. Ran tool through pipes after taking drain apart. Cleaned the drain and works perfect.

I had a sewer backup in the basement, and I had 2 plumbers came to snake out the sewer drain. The first plumber spent an hour and cut out some roots in the sewer lateral and finally gave up, saying that he had 3 other jobs to do and he had no time to continue snaking out the sewer line. He left me with no choice but to search for another plumber after office hours. I had to pay emergency service rates for the 2nd plumber, he managed to cut out some more roots after spending 2.5 hrs and eventually his snake got kinked. The sewer was draining at this time. He returned 2 days later and spent another 3.5 hrs cutting the roots. Eventually he could not get any further towards the end of the sewer lateral. I could sense that he had given up. He tried to snake his camera through but could not get pass the house trap for whatever reason. He was afraid that his camera would get caught up in the sewer house trap - he mentioned that he once did get his camera caught in the sewer in another job. After spending about $1200, the sewer was still clogged but draining better than it used to be. He even recommended digging out the house trap in the basement and then excavating the exterior sewer lateral! I found these 2 plumbers on Angie's List with great reviews. I had no choice but tried other Angie's List service providers. For some plumbers that I called, I had to leave voice messages. Some returned calls later, much later, while others never return my calls at all. There were 2 other plumbers who picked up my call immediately, did not want to take the job when they heard about the house trap - they were afraid that their equipment would get caught in the house trap! Yes, these plumbers were Angie's List members with great reviews! When I called "Enoco Sewer & Drain", Charlie, the owner, picked up the phone shortly and he was willing to help out even when I mentioned about the house trap and bad roots intrusion. I did not know he was out in Kenosha while I was in Wauwatosa. It was a good 45 mins travel time for them and he was willing to reduce the travel cost from the initial $100 to $75. He gave me a worst case situation total cost ($750) of using the hydro-jet with televised inspection plus travel time. I was skeptical about using hydro-jet, wasn't sure how effective it would be. Other companies using hydro-jet would charge more than this amount. When Charlie and Pete arrived, they put down a tarp and then their equipment. Pete managed to snake the camera through the house trap. There were lots of roots in the sewer lateral. The first two plumber had already cut out lots of roots earlier. Pete went ahead to use hydro-jet to cut the roots. Pete was really skillful in maneuvering the camera and hydro-jet and painstakingly removed the stubborn roots. He worked relentlessly on cutting the roots. There were 3 spots that he could not remove and in the end he had to use the power rodding equipment with a 6 inch cutter and finally managed to cut the 3 stubborn spots. In the entire process, he used the camera to help guide and cut the roots. Some companies would charge extra like $250 for using the camera. The power rodding equipment was heavy duty with a 6 inch cutter, the other plumbers used a smaller scale 3" cutter. It really did make a difference. They even cleaned the sewer under the basement up to the bottom of the main stack. Now I could see from the camera that the sewer pipes were completely free and clear of roots. They also cleaned up the areas. I thought this would take 3-4 hrs but eventually it took about 6 hours. They came at 2.30 pm and left at 8.30 pm. They never gave up when they found the roots to be tough to clear; they changed their plan of attack whenever they encountered obstacles like changing the nozzle heads, going back to power rodding to clear the last bit of roots. They never quit in the middle of the job unlike the first plumber. They stayed on and finished what they came out to do!!! They are the professionals! They even made a DVD recording for me to keep. From the DVD playback, I could estimate how long the sewer lateral was, and how much RootX I would need to treat the pipes, where the pipe joints/cracks were etc. I thought this was useful. I was initially skeptical about hydro-jet, but having seen from the televised camera, I am now sold on this newer technology, it did work well. They were also high tech - using tablet to prepare/send invoice, mobile phone payment, and a hard-case notebook. I would have called them earlier instead of wasting the $1200 on the first two plumbers. You never know what you will get even when you used Angie's List. Total spent = $750 (hyrdo-jet with camera)+ $100 (for power rodding) = $850. I used Angie's List a lot to search for Service Providers, it's always a hit and miss even for Service Providers with great reviews. I would never hesitate to use Econo Serwer and Drain again and again when I have sewer problems. This is my second Angie's List reviews that I had ever written and I was so appreciative of the work that Charlie and Pete did.

The service was great!! Charlie who answered the phone, was friendly, and helpful. He scheduled me an appointment for the next morning. The technician Adam, was also friendly, and answered all my questions. He tried several options to open my drain, and was able to resolve a difficult clog. I would definitely recommend this company!

Over 100 year old home so I was glad to hear he did not find any issues. Very prompt and professional.

The service man arrived early and proformed the neccessary actions to unclog out 4 foot drain ahead had clogged out kitchen sink.

The service was wonderful, from Charlie who answered the phone when I scheduled the service through the technician, Pete, who performed the work. They called when they were on the way to my residence and showed up at the time they said they would. The technician, Pete, was very friendly, gave me an estimate, and them set about doing the work. He did a great job, double checked his work to make sure the problem was corrected, and cleaned up when he was done. I have had other companies rooting pipes for me before and they made quite a mess. There was none of that with Econo Sewer and Drain.

Great service. Toilet back working in less than two hours from original call. Price was right and the service performed with a smile.

Not good service.....EXCELLANT, AWESOME, GREAT SERVICE! Have tried several different companies in the past and most were OK and did the job. Decided to go with Econ Sewer & Drain this time. I will never have to make that decision again. From the phone call on, the service was exceptional. First of all, you will never get an answering machine. A real live person answers the phone. Charlie answered and and took the time listened to my problem, asked questions, explained their service and my options. Very concerned, friendly and helpful. Adam showed up for the service call. Very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly gentleman. While I'm sure their other technicians may be good, I will ask for Adam every time. I am happy to know I will not have to think twice next time about who to call. First sign of a "gurgle" in kitchen sink, I will call Charlie and tell him to send Adam over! They know their stuff! Probably rambling on, but sometimes I think that good customer service is a thing of the past. It isn't if you call Econo Sewer and Drain. P.S. I thought the pricing was very reasonable too. AND... I am told they have 24 hour service....good to know.

Adam, was courteous, professional, punctual and personable. Job was done well with full explanation of options and description of issues. The price was nice! This company is a great choice if you need this type of service.

Got call back within 1/2 hr of original email. Arrived at house 1 hr later. Was done and gone 1/2 hr after that. Excellent response time. Plumber courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Was expecting the cost for the service call ($25), but a little surprised with the labor/equipment cost. $100 to use an auger. Have to admit, it saved $ in the long run. Could have escalated into a bigger problem.

The service provider arrived on time and assessed the problem quickly. He started right away on the job. He explained the issue and the correction.

Highly recommend. We have old pipes and new low-flow toilets. Apparently this is not a good combination. We had sewer backup at the drain. Less than 2 hours from discovery and phone call to completion of job. I thought the price was fair for an emergency service call. We were really, really pleased that this company could accommodate our need so promptly. Adam explained what he did and provided a detailed invoice.

Pete arrived on time was very knowledgeable, checked pipes in basement first, also. Gave an estimate range too. preformed work and for the first time in 20 years, the pipes are running clear, totally normal not slow.

Adam, the service rep, was on time and very personable. Found the problem and fixed it. Informing us of what the problem was. The repairs was done very quickly. Cleaned up after.

Workmen arrived on time and worked efficiently and quickly to correct drain problems.
