I called Jendusa because they are so well respected that I knew their report would answer and questions the buyer’s had. I called and Venu met me at the home. He was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to answer questions. I highly recommend them!"

Hello to all! My name is Brady Ampe and I am universally certified by the EPA (environmental protection agency) as an HVAC service technician. I attended MPTC where I was nominated president of the trades club. Prior to that I attended 2 years at WCTC obtaining my associates degree in criminal justice. Shortly after finishing my schooling at WCTC, I met and married the love of my life! Understandably, she did not enjoy worrying about my safety all the time. That is when I decided to start my own Corporation. I have always been a hands on learner, and quite handy for my family and friends with any projects they worked on. That’s when I knew I could become a “jack of all trades” if I went back to college and got certified in HVAC. After graduating early with my HVAC certification, I started working for a local, reputable heating and cooling company to gain more knowledge until I was confident I could fix whatever issues come my way.

We are a home inspection, radon testing and thermal imaging company servicing southeastern WI called Inspect The Best WI (Lic # 3324-106). Our goal is to help you prepare your home for sale or to assist you in making the decision to purchase a house. We offer InterNACHI's Buy Back program. Instead of a few dollars of warranty coverage, if I miss anything during your inspection, InterNACHI will buy the entire house back from you for the price you paid for it! That's a tough warranty to beat. Check out my website at www.inspectthebestwi.com for more details. Also, as part of our home inspection process and no cost to our clients, we inventory the home's appliances and run them through a recall check system to see if any recall have been issued for those appliances. If there has been a recall notice on any of those appliances you will be contacted to set up an appointment to have those items fixed. The appliances will then be registered so in the event a recall should happen while you own the appliance, you would be notified. To set us apart we use a FLIR thermal imaging camera to pinpoint problem areas before they are visible and more costly to repair. Let us use our training, building science knowledge and FLIR IR camera to help evaluate and look for issues.
"Paul was thorough and professional. He communicated well during the entire process. The report was very detailed. He was very responsive to all of the questions I had for him before, during, and after the inspection. We will use him again."

"My son is buying his first house and his realtor recommended Tier1 home inspections. With so many companies to choose from, how do you know you are making the right decision? Well, I guess we lucked out with Tier1. Jason spent half the day at my son's prospective house. He looked at absolutely everything. He was extremely thorough, professional and honest with his recommendations. In the evening, we received a detailed report with photos identifying areas of concern. This inspection was money well spent."

It’s important to get a home inspection when buying a home because home inspectors are trained to examine the various aspects of a home to determine that everything is in good condition and find unseen problems that current homeowners need to fix before the home sale takes place. Although home inspections are not legally required, a thorough inspection can help you decide if you want to purchase a home. That’s why it’s essential to keep a home inspection contingency so that you have the option to walk away from the sale if the home inspection reveals expensive issues.
A home inspection typically includes the home inspector conducting a thorough visual examination of essential home structures and mechanical components. Afterward, the inspector will provide a home inspection report that relays descriptions of damage or other findings for the homeowner to review.
Home inspectors will examine the following home areas and features:
Plumbing
Electrical
Foundations
Roof
Windows and doors
Overall condition of interior and exterior
HVAC systems
Attics
Basements or crawl spaces
Major built-in appliances
Typically, a licensed and certified local home inspector conducts home inspections. Real estate agents often work closely with trusted home inspectors. Licensing requirements vary from state to state for home inspectors, but they must have local certification and valid insurance. Many licensed home inspectors belong to professional associations like the American Society of Home Inspectors.
Typically, the home buyer pays for the inspection by hiring a home inspector. This method helps you make an informed decision about a home’s condition before purchasing it. Home sellers can also conduct their own home inspection to ensure that they are getting the best price for their home and property.
On average, home inspections cost about $350, ranging from $200 to $500, depending on the home’s size, age, and location, plus any specialty inspections required. Additional cost factors include testing for asbestos or conducting thermal imaging tests to find infestations, checking energy efficiency, and looking for structural or electrical problems. If your home is more than 2,000 square feet, you can expect to pay $400 or more.
