I contacted Roth for an estimate on a furnace and air conditioner. The salesman showed up on time. He took some measurements and said he would call me probably the next day with pricing. I asked if he could email it to me (because I did not want a verbal quote). He said he would. He was at my place maybe 10 or 15 minutes. In contrast the guys from two other companies I also got quotes from were each here two hours. They gave me brochures and pricing proposals that same day. They went over different options and all the federal tax credit info. So a couple days go by and I did not receive the estimate from Roth. I sent an email to the salesman to see when I would receive it. I did receive it later that day in the US mail. The quote was for a 70,000 BTU furnace when I live in a condo of a little over 1000 sq feet. Also there was no information on the federal tax credits with the quote. I emailed him to ask him about it and never got a response. So that is why I did not get my new furnace and air conditioner from Roth.

Over the 2010 Steamy 4th of July Holiday, my spouse was trimming the bushes around the A/C unit, hit a line and our A/C stopped working! I called and left a voice mail on Roth's answering machine to call me on their first day back to work (we tolerated the heat, as I didn't want to pay for Overtime). Roth called me when they opened on that first business day and sent out Ron within the hour. Ron recharged the A/C, fixed the line and was done within an hour. I had to get to work and Ron locked up when he was finished. We've used Roth for years. We trust them completely.

Team arrived on time and the installation went well. Quoted 4 companies and Roth came in with the best quote for a Carrier furnace.

I called to get a quote and spoke with a nice knowledgeable person. I made an appointment and that went well too. The technician arrived about ten minutes past the hour. He did a good job and completed the job in a little more than 3 hours. The original quote was up to 4 hours.

I think it went very well. Our home is 16 years old and we have lived here 15 of those years. In that time, we have remodeled our basement and a bathroom. The house has been home to 2 cats, 4 dogs and parakeets in that time frame. In other words, atlot of dust, hair and feathers. According to our duct cleaner, under those conditions, we should have had our home cleaned 3 to 5 times in that time frame.

The installation of the Carrier furnace was an untidy installation. Sloppy workmanship during the installation. The installer slopped the glue for the input out put plastic tubing all over the floor and equipment The installer broke the base of my air conditioner "A" frame above the furnace so I had a choice of replacing it for $750 or installing a complete new Carrier Air Conditioner. I choose to install a completely new system both a new "A" frame and out side compressor unit. They also installed a Carrier Thermostat at the cost of $300.00. The Carrier Thermostat did not control the tenperature accurately and a week ago I insisted that they remove it and place my old one into the system. Which they did. The Carrier thermostat cannot control the temperature as set. It varies plus and minus 2 degrees while the one I have is plus and minus .5 Degrees. During the installation of the outside compressor unit they damaged the cover which covers the elctrical wiring to the unit. I have asked them to replace the cover three times and so far they have not done so. The installation of the furnace was not approved by the Franklin City building inspection and the process of obtaining the inspection should have been up to Roth but I had to contact the Inspection Department of the City of Franklin myself three time to get the installation approved. Roth installers and the Auer Steel Distributors here in Milwaukee did not have the correct information regarding the size of the input output plastic tubing. The tubing had to be replaced to a smaller size as required by the manual the unit came with the Carrier furnace. About two months ago I had to have the induction motor replaced because it was vibrating. A new Carrie furnace that was six month old had to be repaired. That induction motor was a problem with the old Carrie furnace and now the same trouble is appearing in the new system. They replace it free under the warrant. It appeared to me the installation procedure looks like a race against some time schedule. There is no consideration for the home owners property. There also was no one from the Roth heating that had the ability to inspection the installation.

The office warned me that evening/weekend service would be at overtime rates, allowing the use of stove and fireplace to get to regular rates the next morning. Service person showed up on time, checked things out, changed a component and cleaned another to get it going again. The furnace has now been running for about 2 weeks without problem. Since it was a long term intermittent problem, only time will tell if this is the final fix...

We're in the middle of a bathroom remodel and had to have our duct relocated. It was a last minute thing that I neglected to plan for appropriately. I called Roth at 9AM and they were out there the same day. Adam was very friendly, professional and efficient. He left his number in case we needed anything else. It occurred to us later that evening that we needed to add a "short way" duct to have the air come out at a 90 degree angle. We called Adam that night around 9PM (sorry for the late call, Adam)...he said we could stop by their shop the next day to pick up the part we needed. I walked in the door and it was right there waiting for me. They are also billing us for the work that was done. The over the phone estimate was $100-$200, but leaning more toward $100. I plan on having them back later this year to do our furnace tune-up and to add a roof vent for our new bathroom fan.

They are an honest company, that does the best for their clients.

I like that they were very clean and wore cushions on their feet in my home. They were polite, courteous and finished in a timely manner. I was very appreciative that they would come out to do a small job for me.

They came out and cleaned out all our ducts, they were very professional and were great to work with.

They showed up on time to do the work. The workers were friendly and professional. They explained what the problem was to me very thoroughly. They were really good. I would use them again and would also recommend them.

He was so efficient and for all the work that he did, it didn't take long. He was knowledgeable and personable and I would highly recommend him.

I called on a Thursday and they came out the next day. They were up front about that what needed to be done and how much it would cost. He got right to work and I have no more knocking.

The service man informed us we needed either a new compressor or new air conditioner unit. When asked which he suggested he said a new air conditioner since it will be more energy efficient and we will save 25% on energy cost. We paid for the service call and diagnosis. Our old unit was 10 years old and was a 12 seer rating. The new one would be a 13 seer. After getting 2 more estimates we decided on a new compressor. The other salesmen suggested a new compressor and informed me we would only save maybe $20.00 a year in energy savings. That could very well be 25% but when you think in dollers it puts it in a different perspective. Glad I didn't trust Roth's opinion. A new unit would have been almost $2,000.00 more. I had another heating company install a new compressor. Would have had Roth install it but their estimate on the compressor was $120.00 more.

THEY WOULD COME OUT BEYOND TOMORROW, OR THE NEXT DAY. THEY WOULD NOT DO TUNE UP AT THE SAME TIME AS THE "NO HEAT" CALL. WOULD NOT DO TUNE UP FOR 7 WEEKS, AND 2 CHARGES WOULD APPLY. ANOTHER COMPANY DID BOTH CHEAPER, AND QUICKER IN THE SAME VISIT.

THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN REALLY GREAT TO ME.

WE HAVE USED THIS COMPANY IN THE PAST FOR SERVICE CALLS AND HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED. TECHNICIANS WERE ON TIME, VERY FAST IN THEIR WORK, CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND SPENT A GOOD DEAL OF TIME EXPLAINING EXACTLY HOW THE UNITS WORKED.

THE TECHNICIAN RAN A DIAGNOSTIC ON THE FURNACE AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG. HE THEN CHECKED THE THERMOSTAT AND FOUND THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD BROKEN (BENT) SOME OF THE CONNECTION PINS SO THE THERMOSTAT COULDN'T TRIGGER THE FURNACE TO START. THE THERMOSTAT WAS REPLACED AND NOW WORKS PROPERLY.

MIKE WAS POLITE, FRIENDLY, AND PROFESSIONAL. NO WASTING TIME, WORKED THE WHOLE TIME HE WAS HERE, ANSWERED QUESTIONS AND HAD FAIR CHARGES.

WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THEM. THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB and WERE VERY HAPPY WITH OUR NEW FURNACE!

EXPLAINED IN GREAT DETAIL ALL THE DIFFERENT SYSTEMS I COULD CHOOSE FROM. VERY GOOD WORKMANSHIP. S YSTEM WORKS GREAT.

MIKE, WAS THE SERVICE MAN HE WAS FRIENDLY. HE EXPLAINED AND SHOW US WHAT HAPPENED AND HOW TO PREVENT IT FROM HAPPENING AGAIN. ADVISED US WHAT MAINTENANCE WE COULD DO ON OUR OWN, HE DID A COMPLETE CHECK ON THE A/C UNIT, ALSO CHECK THE FURNACE AND OUT SIDE UNIT. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH HIS THOROUGHNESS!
