+ 2 moreIn all cases, we received prompt attention to our initial requests for quotes and general advise. Ed, the manager, is always on time, so friendly and courteous and always, always honest. The work they have performed was always on time with the most professional staff and the results have so far been nothing but superb. Even their office staff that handles calls and billing, are always friendly, courteous and take immediate action on whatever might be needed at the moment. The house we purchased in 2005 turned out to be a plumbing nightmare, but with the help of Oak Creek Plumbing, we are starting to see a tangible improvement which of course will also do wonders to the value of the home on the market. The few extra dollars we paid them as opposed to their competitors were well worth the investment. I would give them an A+ in every category if I only could. This is a company with integrity and dignity.
Description of Work: We've used this company a few times: To replace our steel pipes with copper pipes, replace an old water heater (electric to gas), replace the kitchen sinks and faucets, remodel our bathtub area with new faucets and rebuilding of the tile walls around the bathtub.

+ -1 moreI called Oak Creek Plumbing to set an appointment. They have three levels of cost for the service call (the more you pay, the more narrowly they focus the appointment time). The plumber arrived as scheduled and looked at the work to be done. He gave me a written estimate which I approved before he began. He did the work professionally, tested all the connections, and cleaned up after he was done (even put a throw run on the floor where he was working so that he wouldn't scuff the floor with his boots). The drain connection took him a couple tries to get just right (which is why I didn't want to tackle the job myself). Overall, a very positive experience. I've used Oak Creek before and would not hesitate to do so again.
Description of Work: Plumber installed a new faucet for a bathroom sink. He connected supply lines and drain.

+ -1 moreThe call was scheduled for anytime during the day. The plumber called at about 9:30 a.m. and arrived shortly thereafter. He quoted a flat fee of $950.00 to replace the water heater. He worked efficiently and finished the job by about 2:30 p.m. The work area was cleaned up nicely.

+ -1 moreI was extremely pleased with both projects and would strongly consider hiring Oak Creek Plumbing for additional projects. The owner, Dan Callies, is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. My husband and I relied on his expertise to guide us in most product choices. When we started talking about contract details and costs, he was flexible where possible to save us money and help us stay within our desired budget. He also checked in with us at our home several times to see how work was progressing. The work on our kitchen and bathroom was done simultaneously. Oak Creek Plumbing staff were always organized and kept us informed of their schedule for our project. The crew that worked at our house for several weeks, lead by Keith, and were very professional, extremely capable, hard working, courteous, always appropriate with my two young children, helpful, etc. I can't say enough nice things about them. Keith is a perfectionist and his work shows it.
Description of Work: In the bathroom, Oak Creek Plumbing tore out and removed all the tile (walls and floor), bathtub, vanity, toilet and separate shower. The room was down to it's studs. They installed tiling over the new bathtub, an acrylic shower with glass door, Omega vanity, toilet, vinyl flooring, and all new lighting and ventilation. In the kitchen, we choose to demolish the entire kitchen down to it's studs in order to save ourselves some cost. We contracted Oak Creek Plumbing to provide Omega cabinetry, all lighting, solid surface counter tops, and sink, and installed vinyl flooring and our appliances. We did the painting ourselves in both rooms to keep costs under control. Oak Creek is a large enough company to accommodate our family's needs. An example of this would be the day I asked our crew chief to change his plans because I really wanted a working kitchen faucet. He immediately called their office and a plumber arrived and stayed late to ensure the faucet was working that evening.

His assistant must have told him what I said because he called back and made it right by refunding me the difference in price. Please note - this was covered by a homeowner warranty so my deductible was $60, not the total price.

+ -1 moreLots and lots of problems! This company should stick to "bath fitters" - not complete "remodels". They could not handle the job - poor quality, many delays, under ordered product, broke products, poor installs, belligerent attitudes, broke things in our home, lied to us, had to re-do many things over and over again to get them correct and then would get mad at us if we asked them to do the work correctly, i.e. - chipped tiles, faucets too short, floor tile which was uneven, wrong grout color, etc. The worst was the treatment by some of the workers - in our opinion, a couple needed to be fired. We were never treated with such disrespect by anyone working in our home ever. It was awful. They even have one receptionist that likes to argue on the phone - poor customer service even on the telephone. The owner was nice except when the quality problems built up, then he became defensive.
Description of Work: Remodeled two bathrooms completely - not bath fitters, but complete gut and remodels.

UNFORTUNATELY, I HAD SEVERAL ROAD BLOCKS DURING THE PROCESS ALL ON THE PART OF THE OFFICE STAFF. OFFICE STAFF INCORRECTLY SCHEDULED THE WRONG FIRST VISIT, FAILED TO ADD SOME ADDENDUM TO THEIR COMPUTER AS A RESULT OF SOME PROBLEMS WITH THE CONTRACT, AND ALTHOUGH WERE GIVEN EXPLICIT INSTRUCTIONS FAILED TO PASS THEM ON TO THE APPROPRIATE RESOURCES. I DID LEARN THAT THE TWO OFFICE PEOPLE I HAD WORKED WITH WERE TERMINATED PRIOR TO THE REPAIRS AT MY HOUSE, WHICH SHOWED TO ME I OBVIOUSLY WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE COMPLAINING AT THE TIME. I DO HAVE TO SAY THE JOB WAS DONE TO MY SATISFACTION AND I WILL USE THEM AGAIN. IT JUST WAS A LITTLE UNSETTLING FOR A WHILE.

HE ALSO REMOVED THE TOILET AND REPAIRED THE SUPPLY LINE WHICH HAD CAUSED THE PUDDLE AND SUBSEQUENT DAMAGE TO THE SUB-FLOORING. (I DID NOT HAVE HIM RESET THE TOILET AS I WILL HAVE THE FLOORING CONTRACTOR COMPLETE WHEN THE FLOOR IS REPAIRED). FINALLY, HE ALSO FIXED A LEAK I HAD WITH THE OTHER TUB. I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE STEEP, BUT CONSIDERING THE POSITIVE EXPERIENCE AND QUICK RESPONSE, I REALLY CAN'T COMPLAIN. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND OAK CREEK PLUMBING AND WILL LIKELY USE THEM IN THE FUTURE.
