 + 11 moreEverything went according to schedule. He was always available to answer any questions. Work areas were always kept clean, inside and out. We are very pleased with all the work that Michael has done for us, and highly recommend him. The quality of his work has always been exceptional.
Description of Work: He built a 16X20 four seasons room addition to our house. The results were excellent. He was extremly helpful with economical alternitives to some of our ideas. He also explained reasons why or why not to do certain things. The windows and doors he used were high quality. He suggested a Cedar ceiling which enhanced the room tremendously. The finish work was exceptional. He was also very cooperative with letting us do our own painting and staining of the wood work. We also needed 2 window replaced recently in our home due to blown seals, which we had him do also.The workman ship was excellent. The shingles were going bad on our roof, which we had him redo along with 2 skylights. It also turned out exceptionlly well.

 + 10 moreWhen my husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen, we were clueless. I had a few contractors come and give us estimates, but was not very impressed. Still looking for a good contractor, I mentioned to one of my co-workers what we were contemplating. He told me about the contractor that remodeled his kitchen. He told me he was very pleased with the job he did for him and his wife. I went to his house and saw the kitchen Michael Jons had remodeled for them. I was very impressed. I called Michael and set up an appointment for him to come and see our home and give us an estimate. When he arrived he took his time and asked alot of questions. Even when up to the attic to take a look around. (The other contractors did not.) Michael was very helpful with good ideas and suggestions. A few days later he returned with a quote which we agreed on almost immediately. I have the kitchen I never thought I would have. 3 months later I still stand back and admire my beautiful kitchen. Michael even helped us with decorating tips. Today I have a warm and inviting kitchen and family room. Everything came together so beautifully. I would highly recommend Michael and his associate. They take pride in their work. They are very hard workers and want you to be happy with the finished product.
Description of Work: New kitchen cabinets and countertops. Wood flooring throughout the kitchen and family room. A window in the kitchen and a window in the family room. A new fire door in the family room and a new sliding door in the kitchen going down to the basement. Tile on one of the walls in the kitchen. We had a new dishwasher installed, new kitchen sink, new gas stove and over-the-counter microwave oven.

Description of Work: I was very impressed with the crew from Michael Jons. They were neat, curtious, and prompt. The lannon stone on my home was badly stained with rust from well water used to water new landscaping job. They were on time to give me an estimate on the job and on time to do the work, which with my schedule if very important to me. The stone looked absultuely fabulous when they finished. My side walk was also stained, but I didn't really care about that, as it was not as noticeable as the stone. The house looked so great I asked if they would also do the walkway........they did, and did not charge me any extra. Great company. I received three quotes on my job. Michael Jons was right in the middle, 65.00 less than the highest and 17.00 higher than the lowest I received.

 + 7 moreIt took a while and we hated being displaced from the kitchen, but it was well worth it. Start to finish was approximately 3 months, and they assisted us with temporary hook-up for the appliances and laundry. We had some cash flow issues during that time waiting for loan approvals and such but they kept on working and trusted and respected us. I have used them many times since this project, but nothing as large. I have also recommended them to all of my friends and church members.
Description of Work: I have a Standard Bielinski Home built in 1971. It had a small kitchen with dinette and patio door, a first floor laundry between the dinette and family room. We put a bay window in where the patio door was and stripped all of the old Formica cabinets and countertops. Removed all of the soffits and rerouted the electrical and plumbing in them. The entire kitchen was opened up and all new electrical and canned lights installed. The laundry room was moved the basement and the room was removed to open the dinette to the family room. The floor needed replacing due to a few laundry floods and we put new Red Oak floors over the new sub-floor. The formal dining room was on the other side of the kitchen, it it's now an office. We added another window to increase the natural light and continued the wood floor into this space. The family room felt a bit tight and old. So we removed the dark brown paneling and fake 70's beam on the ceiling. Vaulted the ceiling and added 3 skylights.
