"I had used Kitchen Savers before to do countertops and sink and was very happy with them, so I did not really consider anyone else for my current remodel at a new place. Savers Kitchen did a much more extensive remodel this time. Kevin spent much time understanding what I wanted and giving suggestions. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and easy to work with. In fact, the cabinet door sample he had with him was exactly what I chose. This remodel included resurfacing cabinets, raising a cabinet, building a new cabinet, quartz countertops, sink and faucet, installing stove hood, backsplash, and 2 large pantry doors. Dave P. did measuring and everything was exactly right. Dave B. did most of the work and did an excellent job. The cabinets are beautiful and I was very impressed with the work he did on the backsplash. He knew how to do everything. The job took a little over 2 weeks. I was out of a sink for 1 day only. They discovered a crack in the new sink, which they told me and got a new one. They had to wait to install pantry doors and a little finish work until I had the kitchen floor installed, which was done by someone else. They promptly came back and finished up. Savers Kitchen was always responsive and have great people to work with. Thank you Savers Kitchen, I love my new kitchen."

"Our experience with CWE Renovations has been marked by a troubling lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service. Despite having a comprehensive record of issues spanning nine pages, we will have to summarize the key points here to provide a clear picture of why we strongly advise against using this contractor. Project Timeline and Delays: We were initially given an estimated completion timeline of approximately 12 weeks for our basement renovation. Contrary to this, the project has now extended well beyond 18 weeks. We were assured on two separate occasions (6/27 and 7/11) that only two weeks of work remained. Unfortunately, scheduling has been disorganized, with no clear plan to ensure tasks are completed consecutively. For instance, the electrician's work remains pending with no definitive schedule, and the carpet installation, scheduled for August 19th, was delayed due to the contractor's failure to arrange for measurement until July 26th (despite us inquiring about this since 6/27). Communication and Accountability Issues: Our attempts to gather accurate information and resolve issues have gone ignored. We discovered discrepancies when we contacted Waste Management regarding the pickup of our bagsters, only to find no record of an order. Additionally, a metal rack has been left for 2.5 weeks in our driveway due to the contractor's failure to follow up with Home Depot immediately upon it being left behind by mistake. More concerning, we found that the electrician listed on our permit had no involvement with our project. Upon investigation, we learned that the permit was improperly filed under a business' name, and the electrician ,who worked for the business, was only working on our project as a side job, potentially jeopardizing their professional standing. Overall Experience: The most disappointing aspect has been the lack of communication and ownership. We are left with an incomplete basement and are now seeking a refund for the portions of the project that have not been completed as promised. Given these significant issues, we strongly recommend avoiding CWE Renovations for any renovation projects. Our experience underscores serious concerns regarding their reliability and commitment to customer satisfaction. Everything incomplete as 8/12 (18 weeks after the start date with a 12 week estimate): Electrician to finish outlets, lights, light switches, etc (no eta) â we paid for on 7/30 Carpet Installed (given a date of 8/19 which is completely unacceptable when we have been asking about this since 6/27) we paid for on 7/30 requesting this refunded since Carpet Installation Guy does not want to work with Dan and quoted us almost half to install Trim completed around stairs and in bathroom - Paid Metal Rack Removed from Doors (Offered to reach out myself since Dan doesn't seem to have any urgency in it) -Requesting Dan cover the cost to remove on 8/15 Garbage Removed (two bagsters) We paid for on 2/26 Door Installed over the breaker box Lien Waivers from Plumber, HVAC, Electrician Railing on the stairs (which we have made clear we do not want this in until carpet is installed so we can get our couch downstairs) Paid on 4/12 invoice"

"We contracted with American Home Remodeling for a top-to-bottom gut remodel of the second floor of our 100-year-old home, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. The new space is now our favorite part of the house! Scott and Nick (a father-son team) and their crew of trades specialists did high-quality work at fair prices. Throughout the project, they were great communicators and treated us and our house with complete respect. They kept a tidy worksite, and they showed up and departed at agreed-upon times. These guys are very knowledgeable, and they were always willing to explain things to me and answer my questions without talking down to me or making me feel stupid. They explained their thought processes, decisions, and methods along the way, leaving me very confident in the finished product. I never had to wonder what was going on with the project, because Scott and Nick (and in some cases even some of the trades guys) were available by text message, email, or phone to provide updates and answer questions. When issues came up – as they inevitably do with this kind of project in a house as old as ours – they clearly communicated the issue and came with a range of possible solutions. (They also worked very hard to keep our project safely moving forward even amidst all the difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic.) When we faced decision points, Scott and Nick would share their opinion without being pushy. I always felt like the final choice was my call. All along the way, Scott and Nick worked hard to save us money: bargaining down rates from subcontractors, shopping around for better prices on materials, making a longer drive to purchase something at a lower cost, etc. This allowed us to spend up on things we really valued and even expand the project to take care of some other things outside the original scope. Scott, Nick, and the team at American Home Remodeling would be a great choice for your next project."
