First, the plumber was scheduled to be at my place on Wed. the 1st before noon but I called at 11:30am after they didn't come and was told they were planning on coming on Friday the 3rd due to the fact they had to order parts. Friday didn't work for me so we rescheduled for the 7th. I was told the plumber should be at my home first thing on the 7th...usually that means 8:00am...at 8:30am I called to see where the worker was(Countryside didn't know) and a few minutes later he came. The plumber was very nice but when I got the bill I was very upset. He was there for a total of two hours...charging me $260 to replace the kitchen faucet I supplied...charging me $128 to fix the toilet with a part costing $20(I priced the item at KOHLER)...charging me $106 to replace the pop-up drain. I complained and Countryside reduced my bill by $70 to $424, I had expected a bill of approximately $300-350 tops.

We have a leak under our kitchen sink. We had a new sink installed and the person that installed it cross threaded the connection causing a small leak. We want the plumbing replaced under the sink and a new water filter installed with one that can be easily replaced. We also have an outside water spigot that needs to be replaced.

I called them on a Friday for a leak in my kitchen a minor fix in my bathroom. I was pleased when they came out the next day. The technician was in and out within an hour which made me happy and I felt that he had been able to pinpoint the kitchen leak since my husband and I weren't entirely sure where the problem was. Unfortunately, I was disappointed early the next week when I stepped in a puddle of water on my kitchen floor. My husband called them and requested they return and fix the entire problem and stated he believed the leak was associated with our dishwasher plumbing, not just the sink area that they fixed. They called me instead and left a message saying they don?t fix appliances and that we would have to call someone else. My husband called them and informed them that it was not the appliance itself that he saw leaking, but the plumbing associated with it and that they really did need to come back out. They finally agreed. They told my husband they would come around 1pm the following day and did not show up until 2:30 which was frustrating since he took off of work to be present. The ix took 20 minutes. When I received a bill, it was 2.5 hours? worth of work (even though they spent less than 90 minutes total there). It also did not contain our Angie?s List 5% discount, even though I stated I was a member prior to the first appointment. Initially the accountant did not want to issue credit for the 2nd visit because she believed I did not clearly enough explain the problem at the initial visit, but I corrected her misunderstanding. The end result was a credit for the 2nd visit and the receiving of our Angie?s List discount.

Multiple jobs developed during 2014 (rerouting plumbing lines, clearing obstructed fixtures, adding shut off valves, replacing water softener) and were all handled well.The distance from the company's location to our home's rural location translates into a considerable trip charge, which adds to costs. .

The entire experience was positive. The sales team was professional and responded quickly to my requests. The installation was completed by Greg and Doug. They arrived on time, completed the job in one day, and was neat and professional. I was very impressed with Greg and Doug and would recommend them to anyone.

Countryside came to replace a copper gas line with a kink in it behind our gas stove and also install a garbage disposal on two separate visits. They arrived quickly and had the job done in a flash. What more can you ask for?

it went fine, quick work, no mess. everything seems fine. haven't received bill yet though, guess on $120.00

They provided a temporary solution until spring, when I will receive an estimate on a permanent fix.

The repairman was very knowledgeable and professional.

Took about a half hour and now the toilet is working well

I can say that It went Perfect...

I called Countryside in the morning and they had someone out to the house the same day. Over the phone I described the issues we were having and was told it sounded like the bladder in the pressure tank needed to be replaced. I questioned that statement and was reassured that it could be done. I also relayed the area where the pressure tank was located was relatively open and could be accessed easily. When the two technicians arrived they were brought to the basement and shown where the old tank was. They said they would bring the new tank down and start draining the old one. When I asked about replacing the bladder I was told no, not on this tank. The person I talked with in the morning meant the whole tank needed replacing not just the bladder. The tank was drained and the new one hooked up without difficulties. They even had time to replace a couple toilet seals. The total time spent at the property was an hour. The technicians were pleasant and professional. When the bill arrived there were some questions as there was extra time that had not been spent at the property. A couple phone conversations later and Countryside reduced the amount of labor that had been charged.

Received estimate and scheduled appt. on same day I called. Arrived on achedule; checked old water heater before removing; and installed new water heater. On site approximately 1 hour. The best experience I've recently had with a private company.

The kitchen remodel went fine, the plumber appeared to know what he was doing and was very prompt. The HVAC was a different story. We purchased our current home in December of 2012. The house was built in 2004 and Countryside did the original mechanical work in our house. Before we moved into the house, we decided to do a remodel so we were only up at our house on weekends until June of 2013. In January of 2013 We called them up because we noticed the upstairs was not getting heat or the thermostat was working. We have three "zones" of HVAC. They sent a tech out and told us we had a broken thermostat, the burner was quite work correctly, and we needed a new ignition switch (or something like that) so they did routine maintenance and fixed the thermostat. I was assured the zones were working correctly. They needed to order the ignition switch. It took about two weeks for the iginition switch to come in. We noticed during those two weeks that we still were NOT getting heat in the upstairs. They came out and fixed the igintion switch and said eveything was working fine. Now the basement was always heated to about 75 degrees even though it was set to 58 like the rest of the house. It doesn't take much to realized that isn't right. The total was about $750 to get it fixed. We did not return to house until the end of february and it still wasn't working correctly. Finally they came back out in the beginning of March and looked at it again. In the mean time we had gone through 3 full tanks of propane in an empty house. The tech said he "coudnt find what was wrong" so another person came out and confirmed that the zoned system was not working. We were quoted about $1,300 dollars to now fix the zoning issue. At this point I became quite frustrate that we had spent nearly $2,000 on propane on an empty house and now were looking at a total of $2,000 to repair the furnace/fix the zoning issue. The final bill ended up coming in at $1,700 instead of $1,300 which I thought was outrageous. They did work with me a little bit and only charged me 1,000 for the final fix and admitted they should have found the issue much earlier. Still $1,700 to fix an 8 year old furnace, I may as well have purchased a new one. I know this review sounds a little harsh, but I am just laying out the facts as they happened. This was finallly taken care of in May and June. To top it off in July I walked out in my garage and noticed water leaking from the ceiling. I decied to call a different local company to come out and take a look. They found the leak right away. I have 3 toilets upstairs and two of them were leaking. I thought that was odd for an 8 year old house. They disconnected the toilets and found that they had been installed incorrectly. Two spacers were used to obtain the appropriate height off the floor and they were screwed together with drywall screws and never sealed up or grouted to the floor and the toilets all had wobbles in them. That means wax rings wear down prematurely and when water gets on drywall screws they rust and then water leaks all over the ceiling. It was Countryside who did the original installation in the house, so I have a decided I will be going elsewhere for my plumbing and heating needs. They were all nice and apologetic about not being able to fix the problems with my HVAC, but apologies can only get you so far. The bottom line is we will be looking elsewhere for our HVAC and plumbing needs.

Their extremely punctual and very knowledgable repair person diagnosed the problem and replaced the defective parts very quickly, removed a damaging excess of coolant another service person had charged the system with, and took the time to answer all of my questions intelligently as well as instruct me in system maintenance. He spotted an issue with a related system (humidifier) while he was working on the air conditioner and simply disabled the unit for me so the cracked tube wouldn't leak, without trying to up-sell me on further repairs. He even told me it was a relatively simple repair that I could perform myself, and advised me as to where I could purchase the part. I fully appreciate the honesty, and based on this experience would definitely trust this company to fairly price and competently complete work on any plumbing or HVAC system. Highly recommend!

We had to have them out a couple times this summer to fix our A/C (not their doing, just a bad unit). We called the morning both times it quit working, and both times they were out that afternoon. By the time we came home our house was at a comfortable temp again. A very good company to work with. We have been impressed with each visit.

Did a great job troubleshooting issues with air conditioning unit (15 years old) and made sure we were "up and running" before long, hot July 4 holiday. Very responsive to our need, and team is very professional - and willing to go the extra mile.

I had a good experience with Countryside. Very courteous and knowledgeable technician who was clean and efficient with the work. I even asked him a couple of other heating-related questions as we waited for the new water heater to heat up. He put good thought into his feedback and gave me a good list of options. Only concern was their pricing for a "diagnostic". While charges to come and do a diagnostic are common and completely acceptable, I was told by the dispatcher that "people usually tell us if they want the water heater replaced". That was my purpose for calling a plumbing/heating professional.....to assess whether the heater needed to be replaced or could be repaired. The water heater was replaced.

He showed me what was wrong before making the repair and then made the repair.

My furnace fan was not functioning to properly circulate air. I called Countryside, they were very courteious and promised to send technician within 8 hours. the tech actually arrived in 4 hours. Explained what he diagnosed; explained what was needed to remedy the problem. He solved the problem and left within 40 minutes after I paid what was actually quoted as estimate, a very reasonable price.

I called Countryside plumbing, they scheduled a repair call for the following day. I was given a three hour window to expect the repair person. Paul showed up on time and with all the tools/parts needed and made the repair. I was very pleased with Paul's work. He wasted no time, was considerate of the home owners property (no scratches, tracked in dirt, etc.), cleaned up after himself, and billed a fair amount for the work done. No complaints, and based on my experience, I would definitely recommend him to others.

Great experience! Prompt service for a relatively minor call! Even assessed our plumbing beyond the call and helped us properly utilize our water softener! All around professionals.

The entire experience was positive. The salesperson refused to up-sell me - despite the many openings I gave him. The service tech arrived on time, completed the job in a timely fashion, was neat and professional.

I like them a lot and have used them extensively. They did all of the plumbing for a master bathroom remodel. A non-plumbing issue came up and they came out to look at it to make sure it was not a plumbing problem. This company did not charge anything to come out for this check. They are very prompt and are good with communicating with me including pointing out other things that we should look at; so they are very thorough. Their estimates are always right on as far as what we are being charged in relation to their estimate. The experience has been very good.
