It went very well. He and another guy showed up. They were always on time and did the work in a timely fashion. I would recommend them and use them again.

I called any for an estimate which he gave me over the phone without ever seeing my situation. He said that he would replace my wooden pull down stairway with an aluminum one. Four days later he showed up and replaced my stairway. He also removed a broken door in my basement fruit cellar. The price was as agreed to in the phone conversation. Andy cleaned up after the work was completed. I am very pleased with the work that was done. I have contracted with Andy to have the garage roof replaced next. I look forward to having Andy to more work for us.

I called Andy Zahn to obtain information if he would remove the old storm door and install a new storm door. He said it could be done. I purchased a door from a home improvement store. I was not in a hurry to have the door installed. 6 days after I talked to Andy he called and said he had a opening could he install the new door. I said ok. Andy picked up the door at the home improvement store. Andy did the job in about 2 hours. It was done to my satisfaction.

I am very satisfied with the work performed. I called Andy about a week ago and we only had contact on the phone. Andy quoted me a price on the phone without seeing the work location. We agreed on a date. He was on time and ready to go. I called him while I was at work and asked for estimates on three other projects. He said we might be seeing more of each other. After seeing his estimate for a tear off and reshinlge of my garage, I just notified him that I want him to do that task next.

Andy's partner Patrick came to look at the job and I received a quote the next day along with an estimated time they could do the job and how long it would take. The job was started exactly when they said they could do it, they stuck to their price, and it took them only one day longer to get the job done due to weather related delays. I was extremely impressed by their honesty, integrity, and professionalism. They were very neat and clean, always cleaned up at night. I paid more money than what my other quotes were but it was worth the extra amount to be able to trust them and not have any hassles. I would hire them again without hesitation.

Andy and Pat were both here for about 1/2 an hour. They were kind, pleasant and cheap. I would hire them in a pair of seconds and in fact I will be. They do much more than just plumbing work!

Plumber price tags were ridiculously high, asked for handymen ratings. Andy called back, was very timely. Called before he came, very professional. He and his partner (Pat) looked at the pipes, found the problem. Informed me that pipe needed to be routed out where he couldn't get to it. Charged me $10. The drain is a dual drain leading to one connector, he showed me that the part was in at the wrong angle. He corrected the angle.

He was cheaper than anyone else i've spoken to. I've heard $150-$300 per window (labor), and he said it would be $50 per window labor.

We have hired Andy for many jobs over the last several years and are very pleased with the quality of his work. Once he starts a job, he gets it done in the amount of time promised. However, he is very busy and it is very difficult to get him to return calls and schedule a date to do the work. We sometimes have to call three or four times. We are persistent because we know he will do a good job and know that a good handyman is hard to find. The work on the master bathroom was done in 1.5 weeks. The new shower is smaller than the old one because there was more space than anticipated once the original walls were removed. A shower base that exactly fit the space was not available. Instead, Andy designed the new stall so that it would feel larger by bringing the wall straight up from the base and then creating a shelf so that the top half of the back wall of the shower is deeper. The solution also provided a shelf for shampoo.

I scheduled an appointment with this provider on a Thursday at 9:00. At 9:20 they hadn't showed up yet, so I tried to contact them to find out where they were. No one answered the phone. At 10:00 they still hadn't shown up, so I contacted them again and informed them at that point to not worry about coming out, that I needed to get to work. They were a no call no show and I haven't heard anything from them since.

Enjoyable process. We very much enjoy our improved home.

Andy carefully looked at the current ducting to see how he could place the new ductwork to best allow easy air flow to the outside. He replaced it in short order, letting me know what he was and was not able to do.

Andy and Pat were slightly later than scheduled but called in advance to let us know. They performed the job efficiently and took care to clean up afterwords. Their price was as agreed upon prior to the service.

He was very considerate, did the work quickly, and cleaned up after himself.

I checked the list this morning and found Zahn' Home Repair & Improvement. I searched by rating, looking for the most qualified 'handyman' with the best rating/feedback. I called, received a voice mail, and described my services needed. Within an hour, Andy Zahn returned my call. He had a cancellation and was available to come to my home to review the work. He arrived 30 minutes later, surveyed the work to be done, gave me a reasonable quote, and performed the work to my satisfaction immediately. Andy is a honest young man who does quality work. The total job took about one hour.

Very professional and helpful. The job they do is great. It's been a pleasure having them.

When I left a message this morning, he got back with me immediately. We scheduled a time for 3:30 and he was here right at 3:30. All 3 guys that showed up were polite, friendly, and it was a delight.

Andy were very good. He came out, did a good job and was very professional.

The cost is adequate, it was not low. He painted the bricks with a stain to make them the correct color. He had some innovative ideas that helped. There was one thing I did not care for and he returned promptly to correct the problem. He gives good suggestions and changed things that I was not particularly happy with.

Tried contacting Company via e-mail to get bid on Redoing a Bathroom. No response. Then called via phone and set up date/time to get estimate. He missed it. Rescheduled and he showed up and apologized for forgetting it. Did a preliminary walk-thru and was to send the message by the end of the next week (at which time he would be going on vacation). Didn't get estimate. Multiple phone calls made with no response. Not even a "I got your message and will get back to you".

They did good work but I felt the price was high.

This is the third time that I have used Andy Zahn, and he is always friendly, professional and efficient. Does a good job in a wide variety of tasks. Prices are fair.

Andy has a great personality and is pleasant. He knows a lot about what he does. He is very hard to get a hold of and unfortunately, does not get back to us.

Overall experience was excellent. Top-notch workmanship and very flexible in addressing unforseen issues. Work was done very carefully and cleanup was superb and done at the end of each day. Communication was good. I would highly recommend Andy Zahn and his two-man crew. We intend to use his services again.
