Andy did some handyman fixing and then interior painting, 2 different appointments.

It went wonderfully. I wouldn't hesitate in the future. Very professional.

We found them on Angie's List. Andy and his crew have done a lot of work for us. We use them for virtually everything we have to do around the house. They do an extremely good job. Andy and Jeff do excellent work. They are both very professional, competent experts. They can do almost anything you can do to a house.

They were great. He got back to me very quickly. I was very happy with their pricing. I was very satisfied with the work.

I've used them before. I would recommend them to everybody.

We had Andy a few years back and he did such a beautiful job on our Rec room, that we decided to call him back when we were ready to upgrade our bathroom. We wanted to take it from the 1960's look to a more modern, spa-like room. We did some of the bathroom work ourselves (ex: removed wall paper and cleaned up the walls then giving them a fresh coat of paint, removed the old mirror, refinishing the vanity and installing new hardward, removed the old vanity top). With Andy's suggestions in hand, we purchased the items that we would need to have the project completed. Once again, Andy came through with flying colors. While removing the soffit above the vanity and the half wall (both were Andy's suggestion), was very messy, he and his employee, Jeff, worked to perfection, even cleaning up after themselves. Jeff did a great job on the ceiling cracks and, hopefully, with what he did to repair them, they won't have to be done again. We couldn't be happier with our newly, updated spa-like bath and the work done by Andy and Jeff.

Andy has done work for us several times in the past and we have always been very satisfied. This particular time Andy and two employees arrived on time, always polite and courteous, we discussed their plan and each employee went to work. Andy and co. are always easy to talk with, listen to our thoughts and concerns and are very respectful of our home, careful to always clean up after themselves. They were here for the better part of the day and successfully completed everything we needed done. Excellent workers and we have a new list of things to be done in the near future.

Andy is one heck of a find. He does excellent work at reasonable cost. During a heavy rain this summer I called him because water had leaked through a roof vent. He told me that that day he was caring for his three month old daughter but he would try get to our place. He was not able to have someone watch his daughter so he came and brought her with him and caulked the vent.

Zahn is a very friendly guy and the bathroom work went fine. I haven't contacted him for long now and if there is a need, I will use his services again.

The overall interaction was fine. There were no problems. They were prompt and courteous in providing the quote.

Holy cow, what a great project. The kitchen before was nice and functional. There we builder's grade cabinets with two blind corners; a nice sized but not easily accessible pantry and a poor position of the dishwasher. Andy and team (mostly Pat) removed the old cabinets, took out the bulkheads above the cabinets and between the kitchen and back hallway. They also removed the pantry in the back hallway. They then installed new cabinets all around. The top wall cabinets reach the ceiling, the pantry cabinets have great pull out shelves. The new island serves a great work space and gathering spot while entertaining. The tile backsplash looks awesome. It is hard to believe that this is the same kitchen. I can kind things in the base cabinets without sitting on the floor. I can actually SEE what is in my pantry before I go shopping thanks to the pull out shelves. The dishwasher can be open in the kitchen and others can actually do work at the same time. The major glitch in the process was not with Andy and team, but with the vendor for the cabinets. The cabinets did not all come in as ordered and when the re-order was placed, the person at the vendor forgot to tell the manufacturer this was a re-order. So, my order was placed at the back of the line. Luckily, Andy was prepared for such a problem and did not take out the old cabinets until he was sure we had at least some good new ones to install. When the replacement cabinets did arrive, they did so with the wrong door styles. Again, it was Andy (not the cabinet vendor) who suggested we switch the doors with the first set of cabinets. Thanks to Andy and team for a beautiful kitchen. It is a joy to work in.

It was a large undertaking. Virtually every surface on the exterior of the house was replaced or repaired. What is great about working with Andy and team (Pat, Jeff and others) that it is not a big deal to change the scope of the project as it moves along. For example, at first the floor boards of the porch we going to be cedar, but after some deliberation we switched to composite. This was worked right into the job. Also, I decided to change where the opening to the porch would be. Again, not a big commotion, even though the change meant the addition of a concrete sidewalk. Jeff did a great job designing the layout of the sidewalk. The end result is a beautiful home. Neighbors have stopped by to take pictures. It is a truly remarkable transformation.

Our experienced was very mixed. Andy replaced our old basement windows with glass block and did an excellent job! He came soon and did the work promptly. We were very happy and would give him an A+ for that job. However, replacing our door was another matter. It took repeated phone calls and e-mails to get him out to get it done. Then, the door fit very poorly. It took a few e-mails and phone calls to get him out to fix it. Finally, he did come out, but it required a good bit of fixing to fill the gaps. I'm not sure, but it seems that the door might not be the right size. I think he felt bad, because he did some minor repair to another door for us at no additional cost. I would give him a D for that project. Andy is a very nice guy, and he does do a pretty good job, but you have to be willing to put up with the repeated phone calls and e-mails. It seems like if you get him at just the right time, he comes out promptly, but there's no guarrentee of that.

It was over a month and I still had not heard from him. He had said that he would send the estimate in the mail, but I never got it. When I called him, he told me that the job was too big for him. He said that he meant to send estimate and had probably forgotten about it. He was keeping away from larger jobs at this time.

I found Andy in Angie list and this was my first time using him. I have a second bathroom and on day the hot water stopped working. I looked through all the hot water pipe and still could not find out the reason why the hot water was not serving. I called Andy to come over taking a look and possibly giving an estimate for any fix. On the day he came had a snow storm all day long and it was difficult to travel. He scheduled to come around 4:00pm - 4:30pm. Since he was still in other job, he called me earlier and told me he would come a little biy late and re-schedule to sometime before 5:00pm. I appreciated he called me beforehand to re-schedule so that I did not have to go home early from work. After he showed up in my house, I explained to him the situation, and based on my house structure, he suspected it was a pipe frozed on the section that is above my garage. As there was a box covering the water pipe with insulation around it above my garage. He extended his help by opening the box, taking out the insulation and checked if the pipe was inside. He found the pipe and believed the section was frozen. He gave me couple suggestions to warmed up the pipe, or he could come again if the the problem persisted. I based on his suggestion and be able to thaw the pipe and hot water came back. It was simply an estimate trip but Andy did looked at the situation professionally and gave suggestion. He looked at my problem and tried to help resolving my problem, instead of coming up with some fixing items that charged me money for profit. Although it was simply an estimate, I asked him the business card and keep it with me.

Andy is not real good at returning phone calls - however, once you reach him, it is smooth sailing. He is a very nice man - both courteous and professional. He set a date ... was there on that date ... on time ...did the work ... cleaned up after himself ... and was gone!! He is a rare find in this day and age. And his fees are very reasonable. I will use him whenever I can in the future. Oh, and by the way . . . He doesn't do windows!!

He came out immediately. He was good. The laundry poles were very old. So, he removed them for us. He charged us $45, which was very reasonable. We called him and he came out right away. We didn’t get any other quotes, but we think his prices were fine. We will certainly use him in the future.

I was satisfied, he did a good job.

Came to work when they said they would. Work was very good and done within estimated costs.

I heard about Andy through Angie's list and was excited to use him. Although it says "no subs" in the company description, Andy passed off my plumbing job (hot water handle fell off in shower) to a friend of his, who was a handyman/jack-of-all-trades. Although we got same day service, the handyman did not come with plumbing tools and admitted that he wasn't well versed in plumbing, but would come back in a couple of weeks with his buddy who was more knowledgeable. He tightened down a couple of leaky faucets for free which was highly appreciated! I also was highly impressed by Jeff's integrity in acknowledging his lack of experience vs. just winging it. Jeff said the job would be about $150 total vs. $650-$900 from other plumbing estimates. I would hire Jeff to do other work on the house besides plumbing, but was disappointed that Andy wasn't up front about outsourcing and sending a non-plumbing guy.

Everything went well. It took a little longer than anticipated because of challenges discovered during the process but Andy was always helpful and made sure the work was done right.

Andy arrived at the precise time for his estimate and I was impressed by this professionalism. He completed the work while we were away and it was so perfect, that not only did it pass inspection, but I couldn't even tell that anything was corrected. Andy's work blended in perfectly with the architectural style of our unique house.

VERY EXCELLENTLY! ANDY AND PATRICK ARRIVED ON TIME AND ACCOMPLISHED THESE TWO SMALL JOBS. I WAS NOT GIVEN A WRITTEN PROPOSAL WHEN THEY ESTIMATED THE WORK. THIS WAS OF NO CONCERN TO ME AS THESE WERE SMALL FIXES. I WAS GIVEN A VERBAL ESTIMATE AND THE WORK DONE WAS JUST ABOUT ON THE ESTIMATE WHICH I CONSIDERED FAIR. THEIR TIME WAS APPROXIMATELY FOUR HOURS INCLUDING PICKING UP MATERIALS AND THE FEE WAS $200.00 FOR TWO MEN ON THE JOB. QUITE GOOD.

They were responsive and polite, but felt that it was a bit too small of a job, so I ended up going with somebody else.
