Josh is always punctual, courteous and thorough. His behavior and conduct is always professional and respectful. He is periodically working his way through the electrical system in the home, at my request, upgrading electrical outlets,air returns, heating registers, or other miscellaneous electrical issues. He updates me throughout the process and informs me of any obstacles or issues surrounding an installation or update. He is also very mindful of codes and adheres to those standards. He is also very efficient and completed the tasks in less than 2 hours on this date. In addition, he is very knowledgeable and able to predict the possible costs and complications of various future projects. This makes it easier to plan ahead and stay within a budget. He is also very well groomed and super clean in completing indoor and outdoor tasks.

Josh is always courteous, prompt, very professional and efficient. We had discussed the project in advance and I had purchased the recommended materials that would be needed in order to keep costs under control. We had also discussed the cost and his original quote was honored. He checked 5 different outlets, determined the status of each and completed the work in 1.5 hours. His work is always neat and he causes no damage, plus he wears shoe covers when indoors. Each plug had a different style/issue, but Josh standardized the lot and they look and work just great. We also discussed future outlet replacement in the other rooms and he examined some of the unusual cases and made a determination/recommendation of what could be done and what supplies would be needed. He is very knowledgeable and polite and if there is ever a problem with work done he will remedy it within the day if at all possible.

Josh is always courteous, professional, goal-oriented, and a problem solver (and very neat and quiet). He surveyed the situation and checked in after doing so to update me on the existing electrical in the garage. He installed the light, tested and reviewed it with me and described how adjustments could be made if necessary. He discussed the need for improvements on the electrical panel, wiring etc. in the garage. After completing the light installation he was able to survey the basement of the home and point out solutions to other projects that I had on the list. He is also able to give me rough estimates of costs on future projects so that I can plan my budget accordingly. It is always a joy to work with him as he is very enthusiastic and gladly tackles any challenges by providing a range of options. He really seems to enjoy his work and helping others on the job.

Josh and Tom did a phenomenal job. They arrived 2 minutes early and were polite, efficient and quiet. Josh is the supervisor and is very knowledgeable, respectful and professional in appearance and demeanor. They spent the entire day on the installation and kept me updated on their progress. They were extremely neat and did not leave a trace of dust, dirt or debris. I noticed a slight vibrating noise a day later and contacted Josh. He was prepared to come out immediately to remedy the situation. I was not available at that time so we made an appointment for a few days later. Josh made the repair and then I noticed another rattling noise. He was quickly able to locate the source of the problem that was vibrating and creating a humming noise, which was a flimsy register cover in the hallway. He measured the register and recommended a smaller size and sturdier construction. He offered to obtain and install it if I was unable to find the appropriate kind. I am delighted with the service that this company provides. My only concern is the brand of furnace that they install which has some mixed reviews. However, even the highly recommended brands appear to have a number of dissatisfied customers. I was very impressed with Josh's knowledge, dedication and professionalism and I decided those factors were paramount to my decision. I look forward to a continued relationship with this company.

The job was very good. They're punctual. They're very neat. There's no mess when I leave. I have had some plumbers that ruined the floor. They're very professional and very thorough. I feel very comfortable with what he did. I feel that he's very honest. I had some basement work done 5 years ago, and the contractor recommended them for replacing a sump pump.

Prompt arrival, understood situation right away, completed in a timely manner and did a great job. Would recommend to any of my friends and will certainly call for any future plumbing.

They follow through and good customer service

Went well, communication was outstanding via cell phone calls, emails, or a few text messages. Worked around my schedule even coming in before 6am to get some final work done by a specific date for me. Customer service and communication was great overall.

They arrived promptly -- on time. Very polite. First they verified with me the work to be done. They started work immediately. They explained and showed me each item as completed. They completed the work as stated on their estimate...no surprises on the final cost. Their original estimate was higher than other plumbers and lower than others. I choose them because of their local reputation for quality work.

The installation went very well. I had a cable that pumped water on the wall and he cut a little bit of the section of the cable so that you can run the pipe up. Then he had to do some fancy pipe work to get outside. He did a very good job overall.

The service was excellent. They came right out and everything went well. I've had them back since then for other smaller jobs. They always do good work and leave everything clean and in good condition. I don't have a single complaint about them.

They came in and gave me a good quote. They were very professional. They were also punctual and came on time. They brought 2 people to do the work. They did a very good job and finished the job in a day. I was very satisfied with their work.

The rep that came out was so nice and so informative. I thought I had found a great plumber. He walked through the house, we looked at my laundry list of plumbing issues (including simple faucet leaks to a more complicated shower rebuild) and he said he'd turn a quote around right away. Never heard from him again! Even after emailing him directly to inquire. Again, I was really encouraged when he came to the house, then disappointed by the lack of follow up (I guess they don't need the business??).

Brian came out twice, the first appointment I missed because I had written down the wrong time. He came out the next day, with no extra charge for my mistake. He gave me the estimate, and completed the work the same time. Very professional, courteous, and friendly (even to my two dogs). Also looked at some other plumbing issues I have upstairs, and is going to have the owner, Mark come and give me an estimate because it may involve more than he could see at the time. I will definitely use them as my plumbing company from now on.

Called in the morning and was able to get morning appointment that day. Received written estimate within one hour of arrival. All work was completed by end of business that day. Work area was left clean of debris. Staff very professional and knowledgeable of field. In hindsight, would have asked for a different discharge location, current in right under family room and is very noisy at discharge.

Diagnosed where line was clogged, unclogged the line and then discussed strategies to maintain clear drains.

It doesn't take long after I call them to have an appointment set up. They came out 2 months ago to do plumbing work for a tub. I was ready to put the plates that go against the wall for the faucets in, but the plumber that originally did it did not do it properly. I was unable to put the plates on because there was a big gap. To rectify what he did wrong he would have had to redo the entire job. I am totally unhappy with the, and I am now going to have to do it myself.

I have used Hartlaub for years, and have always found them to be prompt, competent, and fair. I always recommend Hartlaub to anyone who is looking for plumbing services.

I CUT OUT A COUPON. THE SUPERVISOR WAS VERY DISHONEST, SAID THAT THERE IS NOT A PRICE LIST OVER THE PHONE. THERE IS A PRICE LIST, AND HE DID NOT MAKE A TRUE STATEMENT. THEY ARE TOO EXPENSIVE. THEY DID NOT LET ME KNOW THAT THERE WAS A TRIP CHARGE BUT SHOWED UP AND JUST EXPECTED IT. THE WORKER WAS GOOD AND LOYAL BUT HIS SUPERVISOR WAS THE ONE NOT BEING FORTHRIGHT. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
