 + 1 moreActual work-roof windows, trim eventually went fine. Had delay at putting our gutterguards back in. Roofers unable to do windows and siding. Team had to come a week later to finsh the job. Communication , however, was horrible.

 + -1 moreI had windows installed in my entire house after i purchased it in august of 2011. When given a estimate by the salesman who came to my house, it was seriously higher than than the other estimates i had received from competing companies. soon after, i was passing the store so i went in to look at the windows, and after speaking to a salesperson in the store and explaining the estimate i received from the other salesman, I was then offered the same windows at a significantly lower price than what the first salesman estimated and lower than the competition. so I went with this company. The installers were very professional, they were prompt and and courteous, and when the wrong choice in the color of trim was added to the work order, they saw that it wasn't going to work and made a suggestion that was right on. Overall, the windows look good and installation went well. after a year, the windows are still doing what they were designed to do, the house is well insulated with the new windows. My major concern in dealing with this company is, you never know if the price you got was a good one. if I hadn't have stopped in the store I wouldn't have these window because the salesman was trying to make to big a commission.

 + 0 moreGreat experience! Window was a little pricier than other places we had investigated but the quality was much better. Also had features other windows we had seen did not have. Was installed in a timely fashion and everything was cleaned afterwards. The salesman came to our home and was knowledgeable and professional. He was late, but he called to let us know he had gotten lost. Overall, no complaints!

Problems with ordering materials, breaking glass installation twice, water leakage into room, not adjusted sliding screen, sharp aluminum machining chip left in grass. Excess silicone on glass. Finished soffit required 3 calls & visit to show room.

Description of Work: This was the forth in a series of window replacements in our large, old, East Side Milwaukee duplex. So far we have replaced 49 windows. We still have eight or ten more to replace. It has been a long process which we began in 2009. It is remarkable how many windows this old place has. We were impressed from the first with the professionalism of the Champion operation. Their product is not as cheap as you can find elsewhere, but the windows are well made and amazingly energy efficient. The sales demonstration was what originally convinced us to replace 21 windows in a couple of old sun room/bedrooms. The rooms became livably cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The 365 glass is excellent and the installation looks great. We wish we had replaced them years earlier. We have had all of the "form factors" installed: casement, side-to-side sliders, double-hung, and picture. Our only complaint is that the factory changed designs for the casement openers between two of our purchasing "episodes" and the second set openers are not as nice as the first set. I love the fact that I can now open windows that I spent decades hating. I like being able to wash them when I want. I only wish I was a wealthier person who could do them all at once! (A new boiler has just intruded into our plans for a final "push").

 + -1 moreI liked the product! The quality of the installation and the product are very good! My only reservation with the company is that I would recommend the product but only if their office would be closer to here, Waukesha is pretty far away. For using their services, I got a window cleaner for free, for a year from them. The sales guy for this area said he would take care of making sure that I got it, but when I asked about this they said I had to drive up to get it from them. I asked if they could mail it and they said no; I also asked if I drove there if I could get the year's supply in one trip and they said no and that the sales guy that told me this was no longer with them. I would probably use them again, but they would have to give me the window cleaner up front.

 + 0 moreChampion's service was first rate. We had an estimate done the year prior and they honored that quote when we were ready for the work to be done. The installers were on time, professional and did not leave a mess inside or outside. We did receive the wrong sliding glass door (should have had a grid and did not). Champion replaced that door in a timely fashion. I did not calculate the exact percentage of energy savings since this work was done - however I can say that our heating and cooling costs have dropped significantly. We had several quotes before making the decision to go with Champion and we could not be happier with our new windows.

 + -1 moreCalled during the heat wave we had in March of 2012 and scheduled the very next week for the install. They took 2 days to complete everything, and obviously, they really knew what they were doing to complete a two-story duplex in such time. I really appreciated the fact that there were NO hidden extras I had to pay to get a quality install. The haul-away and clean-up of said old windows was complete and thorough. I'm commin' back after I pay down the bill!!
Description of Work: I was pretty much sold on Champion Windows as having the qualities I was looking for but the salesman, Mr Scott Hilkert, really was preaching to the choir on Champion's quality. The drop channel the windows slid into really secures any air infiltration, as well as, outside intrusion attempts. The Color Bond System really puts a polish on the windows that makes other makes of windows pale in comparison. (Choices of three exterior colours, take or leave it, isn't my idea of a quality product!) Their glass selection is really easy, especially since there's only one kind and it is really impressive. The glass must be demonstrated to really appreciate its impact!I replaced a majority of my 96 y/o windows with 20 new green colour bond system Champion Windows. Not cheap, but quality never is!

The lead time was between 4 to 7 weeks and the cover was received and installed within 5 five weeks. The installers were excellent and did a great job. We are very happy with the company, product and the job they did.

 + -1 moreQuote process was complete and professional. The install went smoothly however it did take longer than quoted and the crew stayed past dark to complete on both days. Overall the job was done very well. We had to call them back in to do some minor adjustments a few months later which they did promptly and professionally. The only complaint is that one window was leaking noticeable air during the winter, when we call for inspection it was found that there is some sort of internal seal that was supposed to be turned to a closed position, and was not. Looking at the rest of the windows, four more were found with the same condition. Make sure your installer double checks this. Had we not called and asked, it would have never found. Overall, I have used Champion on both my personal home and my rental property and would recommend them.
Description of Work: Replaced about 12 windows on our 3-story house with their own branded windows with 365 glass.

The sales representative finally came and promised to get back with a quote within two or three days. Three weeks later, we still have not heard of anything from them.

Description of Work: We had twenty windows replaced on two floors of our old duplex. The ancient sun room desperately needed proper windows. There was some reconstruction work needed because of the way our old house was originally built (bad workmanship back in 1918). We did this job in two stages. After fixing up the first floor we were happy enough to decide to do the second floor as well, something that we had not originally intended to do.
